This was a funny book, to be honest I got to the end of it and wondered what the point of the story was. I didn't really understand why the journey that was interwoven into the tale and the event at the end was so significant, it would have made more sense if the ordination had been something that was either greatly longed for or a great disappointment. It was quite enjoyable and I liked the characters.

I enjoyed the book a lot more than I thought I was going to. I felt that the characters were written well and even though I haven’t experienced a lot of what occurred in the book, I really felt a sense of empathy for everyone.
