A solid read from a new to me author. Interesting story line, steamy intimacy, developed characters but I was wanting more. Maybe more depth of character? While I enjoyed this story, I wasn’t pulled in and fully invested in it. I am definitely interested to read more from this author.

Kidnapping, murder, facing family tragedy and yes, heated romance - all deliver a solid storyline with some twists and a few surprises that will keep you reading and moves the story along at a good pace. A fast read, with a satisfying conclusion.

Author Charlee James is new to me. As is Evernight Publishing.

I enjoyed my time with Sasha and Gus. I didn't think this was a particularly deep book. It kept me engaged when I was reading, but I was also able to walk away to do other things. The pull to finish wasn't there for me, but I wasn't distracted from things around me when I was reading.

Both characters could have been deeper. Everything was very 2 dimensional with Gus and Sasha. Throw in Gus with his guilt about "abandoning the badge" because he has feelings for Sasha and the "fear of feelings" from Sasha because of her last... I don't know. It's probably me. I probably just need more buildup and depth. And to be fair this is sorta a quick/insta attraction despite what led them to meet.

Please don't get me wrong. This was a solid 4 stars. I assumed going in this was going to be a quick read, it is, and that I wouldn't find my brain working to hard to understand motivations of the characters.

I will absolutely read any secondary characters books. Julie and Agent Wright both hold excellent possibilities for a entertaining story.

Could be a spoiler, but maybe not... 7 out if 10 times I know who did it well before the average reader. Call it my curse courtesy of my ADHD. While Vision of Justice is definitely a who-dun-it, suspense, romance I don't think it will take most readers more than 40% of the book to figure it out.

This is a edge of your seat murder mystery with a steamy romance thrown in. I really enjoyed this book. Someone is targeting Sasha and detective Gus must find them before she becomes the next victim.

An intriguing story with an intense level storyline. Lots of misdirection and suspects will keep you guessing to the conclusion but the romantic storyline between Gus and Sasha shines throughout.

Great character building with sufficient backstory to enable you to engage with the main characters, this book was an enjoyable read.

Hoping for Julie/Isaac and Kinley/Easton stories to come
