This book was definitely lacking something for me. The plot was kind of confusing and I didn’t love the characters either.
I would love to give this author a second chance but this book just wasn’t for me.

This book had such a fun and interesting premise but I personally didn’t feel like this book was for me!

This one was not my favorite. The plot and premise didn’t make a lot of sense but even if I set that aside and suspended my disbelief, I didn’t like the characters. The romance was not my favorite either.

I would try another Tish Thawer book but I didn’t love this one.

I loved the premise of this one but I just sadly couldn't get into this story. I'm not completely sure why but I just didn't find myself gravitating towards it once I picked it up and I just couldn't connect with the character properly.

I'm gutted as this seemed like it should have been one I enjoyed! So sorry!!

I really enjoyed this magical book. The pacing was a bit off, but that didn´t take away too much of my enjoyment. I can´t wait to see what the author will do next.

Loved the magic in this book and it really surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. Overall can't wait to read more from this author.

Such an interesting concept, but the delivery fell a little flat. The FMC Millie was too wishy-washy for me. But i did enjoy the idea of dream weaving.

thank you to the author and victory editing netgalley co-op for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

the narrative follows milly who repeatedly has the same stranger appear in her nightmares. who proves to be the weaver, her mate, and the lover she was meant to have. she then sets out on a quest to learn more about the weaving, etc etc. the aspect i love for one is how they kept running into each other in her dreams and switching up where they get together. it was magical and cute. if you want a stand-alone romance, weaver is a fun quick read. although it occasionally falls into the cliche category, if you're not seeking for a groundbreaking or original read, it wouldn’t cause you a problem. weaver is one book you can cozy up with to pass the time between others. it was good, but i wish the beginning had been a little bit shorter and the upheaval of the plot had been more thoroughly explored.

This has some good parts, some meh, and some a bit lackluster. 3.25 stars rounded down to 3. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Milly has a problem, no man in the waking world can compare to the man in her dreams. Using her family's inherited magic she is determined to make him a reality. With everything she's ever wanted within reach can Milly accept her dream man's offer? Or is something more sinister at work, leading her to live in a nightmare?

Weaver is a fun quick read for those looking for a stand alone romance. It tends to be a bit cliche at times, but there's nothing wrong with that if you're not looking for an earth shattering/original read. Authors have found a formula with romance that works so we see a lot of elements repeated throughout our preferred genres. Weaver is one of those that you can curl up with to fill your time between those reads leaving you hungover. I enjoyed Weaver, I just wished that the beginning bits were a bit more condensed and the turmoil of the book explored more(I can't go into details without spoiling the pieces of the book which made it worth reading, so pardon my need to be vague).

3.25 stars for a book that I didn't love, didn't hate, and didn't regret reading. Recommended for readers who enjoy otherworldly romance, men who like to woo, and a pinch of magic. Age recommended for 16+ as I don't think this book could hold the interest of those younger/who enjoy faster paced stories not so focused on romance.

I have so many thoughts that I’ll probably be adding to this review over the next few days.

First off, nothing was wrong with this book per-say, but it just lacked a lot.
-Roarke is given not past and we don’t know much about him at all. He is borderline stalking Millie. We don’t know anything he likes or any of his past and you never do. He does stalk her dreams.
-Millie just worries so much. Everything she doesn’t know, she just worries about and does her little magic spells.
-Besides three other minor characters, there is literally no one else in the book. Millie is so isolated and alone that she doesn’t talk to anyone. Like the character list is so small and that could be ok, except that character we are given aren’t fully flushed out. The entire book is a group of five with some unnamed background characters.
-The entire romance plot is just creepy. They meet in a weird way and with how isolated Millie is, I’d be calling the police on Roarke. It’s kinda Stockholm syndrome-y. He brushed all her questions aside, which we find out later on was because he didn’t know.
-Also, the author reveals his name before she is supposed to in a mistype, which was really confusing to read.
-The entire book is slow until about 80%. I was about ready to give the book up. It draws you in at the beginning with descriptive language, but that gets old super fast. The author also uses Millie doing everything instead of telling the read what’s going on, which also got old quickly.
-Finally, the whole occult magic system was not my thing at all, which does depend on personal preference. If you don’t like that magic, don’t read the book because it’s everywhere. It goes against my personal beliefs, so it was hard to push myself to read and I don’t agree or like it at all.

Thank you to the publishers, author and NetGalley for the free copy of this book.

I didn't really get into this one. Great premise but just so many things that I couldn't get past enough to enjoy it...

It's been so long since I read a fantasy book and I loved this one! It was a quick, fun read. I really like the characters and the whole world-building within the book.

This is such a unique story! The premise for the book is utterly interesting and works to draw readers in before they even open the book. Once in the story, it is a world of magic and a little bit of realism that is fascinating. Milly is a witch that dreamed, literally, of a beautiful man who is entrenched in the world of magic. The story is fast paced and where I prefer a slow burn the romance was a little instant for me. However, Milly's own sense of self evolved over the course of the story, leading into some great growth. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes witchy stories, ethereal dreams, and fate!

Thank you, NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read Weaver by Tish Thawer in exchange for an honest review.

This is a story about a witch who has been seeing a man in her dreams and wants to get to know him. This is a young adult book and a very quick read. The book could have used a little more world-building. I did enjoy it, but I just felt like something was missing. This book was also insta-love and I like books that build it up a bit slower. I would definitely read another book by Tish Thawer.

I hardly ever give books a one star, but I just couldn't get into the writing style of this book. The premise was interesting enough... but the characters felt very flat to me.

This was a nice solid young adult romantic fantasy. I enjoyed the characters, especially as the dream walked. The premise was interesting. Enjoyable!

This was ok but nothing to really be OMG about. I did enjoy it but I don't think that I would read it again. The characters were great and the pacing worked well. But it was just pretty mediocre overall.
