Big Wild Love Adventure was fantastic, a solid ; star read!! Two unlikely characters get stuck going on an adventure together. If you enjoy forced proximity, you will enjoy this. It would have been 5 stars if it had more spice to it.

Honestly. Holy moly I loved this book. Down on your luck girl. Chance of a lifetime. Bachelor in paradise meets amazing race meets survivor. It was a wild ride. Emmy was a fantastic lead and broke my heart. Debated how I felt about Wes for a bit but I will say Tad Forever. It was incredible to watch someone down on her luck find a found family. That is sort of a fantastic trope and worth its weight in gold.

Firstly, I’d like to say how much I adore this cover! It’s so lovely and I couldn’t stop staring at it while reading the book.

Secondly—this book! I was nervous because this has been an anticipated read of mine but I had no reason to be. I enjoyed the main characters and their relationships. Keyes does such a beautiful job curating these endearing and wonderful characters with seemingly real personalities and ambitions. I absolutely busted out laughing so many times! This book was so fun, witty and honest!

REVIEWED BY SUNNY

Julianna Keyes really hit the mark in this amazing romantic comedy! It gave me all the feels! Since I have always loved SURVIVOR I thought I’d enjoy it, but was a bit worried since I’m not the BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE type. My worries quickly disappeared as I enjoyed the circumstances that got Emmy on this show and put my whole heart into cheering her on in the competition.

There was an exceptional cast of characters - those you hate to love and then some you love to hate. But Emmy jumped off every page as she interacted with all of the other contestants and was so atypical, only working hard at it to overcome all the obstacles that got her there in the first place.

The love interests throughout the adventure were fun and I loved how the book pulled everything together so Emmy got her well-deserved happily ever after.

As a huge reality TV fan I was really hyped about this book and I was not disappointed. Keyes draws on many popular shows to create an engaging storyline following Emmy, a baker whose luck has not been in her favor. She goes on the show looking for financial reward but instead she develops friendships and relationships with her fellow contestants. Many of the characters are likeable and relatable and the storyline is realistic and at times amusing. I really enjoyed Keyes writing style and found this book to be a quick and entertaining read. I didn't really connect with the twist at the end of the book (this is the only aspect I found to be a bit far fetched) but aside from this, the book is well written and heartwarming. I would definitely recommend! Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this in return for a review.

Big Love Wild Adventure follows a Baker, Emmy, through many lows in her life. From being left at the alter to losing get entire life savings in one car crash that was supposed to deliver deserts to an influencers wedding, she hits rock bottom. One drunken night with her assistant, Bailey, they both fill out forms to possibly end up on a reality TV show. But for Emmy, it actually happens.

This book gives me Love Island and Too Hot To Handle vibes, which i am all about. This was a great book to read this summer. It gives you
romance comedy feels that makes you giddy and anticipating when the sexual tension will finally break.

If you’re looking for a fun book to read, i highly recommend this one. Thanks to Netgalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the early ARC!

This book took me on a rollercoaster of thoughts. When the book first started, I was loving the story. Then, I couldn't decide how I felt about it, but when it was over, I realized that i thoroughly enjoyed the read. While I don't really watch dating shows, I've found that I've enjoyed numerous books that are based around or involve reality dating shows. I loved following Emmy as she went through some major things in this story. All the feels for her! This is the perfect beach read for the summer!

✨Cutest of friendships
✨Laughing your face off

Than this book is for you.

The ending was perfect, the romance and steamy scenes made me cling to the pages and I read this in one sitting. No regrets tho. This was amazing.

After being ditched at the altar and then running into problems with her food truck, Emmy signs up for a reality TV show to try and make some money. Will she meet her match while she is there or get her heart broken again?

Great read. Looking forward to more books from this author.

I honestly wasn't expecting to love this book as much as I did, yet I was so hooked!

I don't watch reality TV shows but I loved getting into that stuff and see all the 'adventures' and challenges they had to do, I followed all the dramas and the relationships, found funny so many things. I was so into it and was so into everyone and I didn't had a problem remembering who is who and whom was with whom. Even tho the LGBTQIAP+ diversity here is non-existant but that's due to it being a regular reality TV shows: there's only straight couples, so don't expect anything from it, but it's understandable knowing what kind of reality tv show it is.

I loved the characters and I didn't know I'd get so invested into the MC's relationship but also each other relationships. I liked the development of a few couples but also how some characters evolved, and I liked how Emmy's relationship went going. I also really appreciated how the author put a lot into the friendship created between all the characters, the way they all stood with them and appreciated each others.

I really felt like I was watching the first episode of a bit special kind of reality tv shows for fun, and in the end falling hard for it without noticing.

The only "bad" point is: I'M FRUSTRATED. For two things. First, I wished to get even more than what we got for Emmy's couple than that last chapter. Second, I'm frustrated and craving for all the cupcakes and pies she did in this book, ugh, it sounded delicious.

I really loved this story. Not only was Emmy very lovable as a main character, all the other participants in the show also quickly became my favorites. The relationship between all these different personalities and how they grow and evolve as a result of getting to know each other is what makes this book special. The slow burn love story between Emmy and Wes is the icing on the cake!
Definitely highly recommend this to anyone who loves the Bachelor franchise and can’t get enough of slow burn romances! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Emmy of #EmmysTrashTruck fame lands a spot on the newest reality show - a cross between The Bachelor and Survivor. While she competes for cash prizes, she soon also finds love. As she inches closer to the finish line and the shows finale, she comes to terms with returning to her real-world problems and wondering if love can survive life outside the bubble of a tropical paradise.

I went into the this book expecting an adventure and was not disappointed. From the start, the premise promised to be fun. I kind of wish I could audition for this show. Featuring a big cast of characters and a swoony love interest, this a great summer read.

What a cute and endearing story this was!! I absolutely loved Emmy’s character and how she overcomes so many obstacles. She is the true definition of a hot mess express who is so relatable! From being left at the altar, to having her business completely tank, Emmy definitely deserves a break! And that’s just what she gets by going onto a reality dating show! Tad, Wes, Paige and all the others involved were so fun to watch as friendships grew and true personalities were revealed! And to see the best couples stick together and get their happily ever afters was just what was needed and expected! I want to read more about Emmy and Wes’s love story after the island. Also, I have to know if Tad gets his own show! I’d watch for sure! 😉

Emmy has been having a heck of a year. Dumped at the alter, her business destroyed, and her reputation trashed online. What’s a girl to do? Go on a reality TV show of course! That’s right, Emmy and a group of hot singles head into the jungles of Panama to compete for the chance at cash and love. Emmy is there because she needs a break from her reality and could really the cash. The last thing she expected was to actually find love.

The book features a super cute cast of characters and I loved the story. I really hope we see more rom-coms from Julianna in the future.

This was a really fun and engaging book. The hijinks of a reality dating show moved the plot along in an entertaining way. The cast of side characters appears to be comprised of influencers and vapid pretty people, but as you get to know them you really start to root for them as individuals. The main character, Emmy, is wonderful. She doesn't play the victim, although she has every right to, and finds empowerment through her journey on the reality show. I thought it took a bit too long to bring her together with our hero, Wes, and believe a few of the twists could've been omitted. I did really enjoy Wes as the hero though, and seeing him open up was great.

My main gripe was the lack of on-page heat. Not really what I expected from this author, and after all the build up to bringing Emmy and Wes together, it would've been a nice payoff. But overall, I had a blast reading this and would recommend.

I was so excited to see a new book from Julianna Keyes coming out so I requested it right away and dove right in.

I actually really enjoyed this and I went in a bit hesitant because dating shows really aren't my thing. I was pleasantly surprised that while that was the backdrop of the story, there was some real depth here. The characters were fully fleshed out and I really loved that while competition was a part of the story, Keyes was able to really show the build of relationships and friendships.

Thank you so much for the early read!

Review to come to blog/Goodreads in two days.

I received this book from Goddess Tours in exchange of an honest review.

😍 Baking!! So much baking! I just love that our MC loves baking and made it, or is at least trying to make a career of it because things aren't going to fine for her in the beginning. Her truck full of yummy food is falling apart and things go worse from there. But she does her best and I just love how creative she is with thinking up recipes. She has some yummy stuff and I wish there were recipes included in the book because I am a big baker myself (just hobby and stress-relief) and would have loved to try out a few of her things. Yum!
😍 Those clothes that Bailey added to Emma wardrobe. Oh boy. Oh boy. Those were hilarious, offense, and why would you do that to your best friend? XD Not only were there bad puns (including I want your frosting) but also upside down pineapples.
😍 The boys! There are many of them with this being a show, but I was mostly invested in Wes, Alex, Brian. And eventually also Tad! Yep, that man grew on me. He was rude/weird in the beginning but as the story continued I could see the potential in him. As for the others, Brian sure had some chemistry with Emma, at least at first and I found him very sweet and hot. Then there is Alex who I liked from the start and who I first hoped to see with Emma.. but then I hope he and Paige would hit it off. Because they sure made a sweet couple. Lastly, there is Wes. Wes was so sweet and the tension between him and Emma was just flowing out of the book. I was hoping each time that Emma would be able to pair with him because these two needed to kiss. XD He was also really sweet and caring.
😍 Loved that in the beginning it was a lot of trying to survive but quite soon they just became sort of a family and it was fabulous. I loved how they hoped things would go well for each other. And later in the book when a certain character makes an appearance they are there to support Emma and make sure she is fine. I just loved that. Often with reality show books you have maybe a friendship or two, but not a group that forms a family.
😍 The friendship between the girls, especially Emma and Paige had such a wonderful friendship and I loved how they shared things, talked about everything, supported each other.
😍 The reality show challenges + twists. They were tons of fun. They include hikes, kissing booths, talent shows, and more. I was looking forward to each new challenge and wished I could participate in a couple. Plus, the twists were really well done. I won't spoil on what they were.
😍 I loved how the contestants had to go to the villa. Not the easiest way, but definitely a fun way.
😍 I loved the ceremony at the end of each week (I believe that was it). It was an interesting thing to read about. From re-pairing to shooting your shot with a heart-shaped arrow. Along with fancy dresses and glitter.
😍 Loved reading about the house, about the nature around it. The villa especially, I just wanted to go there and take a dive in the swimming pool. Yas! Or go behind the waterfall for some peace and quiet.
😍 It was fab that we also got to read about the producers/people behind the cameras. At times there were scenes and we would read how they would motivate the contestants, laugh at what happened during challenges, or supported the contestants. They also made sure everything went well and that made me so happy. Sometimes reality shows get really manipulative, so I liked the change in this one.
😍 Healing! The MC has had a difficult time, with a man who stood her up at the altar (to be with his pregnant girlfriend), a food truck accident, a loss of her home, and much more. She hasn't had the easiest time, and I loved that as the book progressed we saw her feel better and happier. I loved that she noticed this as well. I loved that she found new friends, that she opened up her heart, discovered that not all men are dicks, and more. I loved that she got even more motivated for her baking as well.
😍 The cover was so fun!
😍 The tweets at the end were a nice addition. Like seeing some from the public but also some from the contestants.
😍 The epilogue!

🤔 Not entirely sure how I felt about Emma
winning that many of the challenges or getting that lucky with some other things. It just felt a bit easy and I wished for just a bit more excitement. More tension.
All in all, I flew through this book and for once I don't mind not being able to sleep because that meant I could read this one! Haha. I would recommend this book to all who love reality shows and romance books.
