Thanks to the authors, publisher, and NetGalley for the ARC of this book.
Suspense is my favorite genre and these ladies know how to deliver it and deliver it well. Each has taken a secondary character from their earlier series and given them their own story. But don't worry! They can totally be read as a stand-alone stories.
That being said, I generally struggle with novellas, they're just too short for the character development I'm used to from these authors in their full novels.
I will purchase this for our library.

These books are my favorite kind! Little mini plots with dramatic twists that move quickly. The reader doesn’t have to wait for suspense or tension to build, these three stories just dive right in! As an avid reader, I appreciate that because sometimes I feel like I waste time reading a boring chapter that doesn’t have any action in it.
All of the authors did a fantastic job building mini stories! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my review.

All three of these authors are auto-buy authors for me! These three novellas are action packed and will keep you on the edge of your seat to see what happens next!

I received an ARC through Netgalley and all opinions are my own.

This is a fine sampling of three very talented authors. If you've read any of their books, you will recognize their style and maybe even remember some of the characters. Though these are novellas, they are still complete stories. My only disappointment was in Natalie Walters "Caught in the Crosshairs". Some of the dialogue seemed trite to me. Maybe I've read too many books and the dialogue seems to come out of me. All in all, they are three great stories. If you haven't read any of these authors, this is a good book to get to introduce you to their styles.

Loved it. Devoured it in about 36 hours. Ok OK it was less than that. My favorite was Lynn Blackburns story, love that Emily got her own happy ending with a secret service man no less!!!!!

If you like suspense novellas you will love this book. Eason and Blackburn are writers I am familiar with and always love their style. Walters was a new author for me but she fits right in with this action packed novella. Even though the three novellas are stand alone, I feel you miss a little history by just jumping into this without reading the previous books. (I am only assuming Walters book is this way). But you can for sure read this all by itself.
I am a huge fan of suspense books and these were all well written. If you are not familiar with a novella they are a quick short read. Sometimes I prefer reading one if I am short on time. Remember they are. not a full novel, so a lot is put into a short read. They authors do a great job at developing the character and the dialogue. I loved all three novellas.
i was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion.

Targeted by Lynette Eason, Lynn H. Baclburn and Natalie Walters is a fantastic novella collection! 5 stars!

I have read Lynn Blackburn's Malicious Intent, so I was thrilled when Gil Dixon's sister Emily got her own story. It was such a great read, full of action, suspense and romance! Secret Service agent Liam Harper, who loves the outdoors, was the perfect counterpart to girly Emily Dixion's character. Mason Lawson as the son of the Vice President, added just the right mix of teenage trouble and sarcasm for Liam and Emily to deal with. It was a well written unique story that works well as a standalone. I loved it!

Lynette Eason's On the Run novella works well as a standalone. Even though I haven't read the Extreme Measure's series, I had no trouble following the story and really enjoyed it. Daria Nevsky was terrific as an unstoppable powerhouse FBI agent and Dr. Ryker Donahue had no choice but to help her out as he was caught up in her escape plans. Great characters who have to overcome sad pasts to have a brighter future!

I haven't read anything by Natalie Walters so it took me a while to get acclimated to the story thread in Caught in the Crosshairs. It was an interesting story with Army officer Ari Blackman and CIA agent Claudia Gallegos at odds, but I did feel I was missing a lot of backstory and context with the references to Claudia being previously shot and always feeling her scar. I also had a low tolerance for the "he's so handsome, he's so good looking" playboy lines that were repeated throughout.

All in all, this is a riveting suspense collection that will have readers turning the pages at warp speed. I highly recommend it. I appreciate Revell Publishing for making a copy of Targeted available for review. All thoughts and opinions are my very own.

A wonderful group of novellas. Similar in style and great encouraging reading. The authors I have read before didn't disapoint.

Overall, I’m not a huge fan of novellas. In my opinion, they never have enough time to develop the characters and give them the chance to really change. OR the novellas that I do like feature characters I am already familiar with but place in them a moment of time that readers are dying to see what happens. Of course, I am familiar with all three authors in the Targeted novella collection, so I was interested in reading what they have wrote.
“On the Run” by Lynette Eason
This novella is a quick run down of a girl on the run from her father’s legacy. Since it is such a tiny amount of space for a story, the entire novella was one big chase scenario with plenty of action and final showdown. The heroine has been featured in another of Eason’s novel, but as a background character. Now readers can see more of her past and see the romance that occurs. Would I want this as a bigger story? Yes, but for the moments of the story, Eason does a wonderful job at crafting enough background, romance, and action to keep any suspense reader happy.
“Deadly Objective” by Lynn H. Blackburn
While Eason’s story had plenty of action, Blackburn’s really did not have much. Her story laid out the foundation for a budding relationship, but the suspense was not there. Many moments of talking and taking a camping trip and the hero and heroine discovering more about each other and the charge they were watching. Occasionally, Blackburn would remember to throw in some bullets flying to keep the suspense element moving. Not really a good novella. Wanted more action to keep me interested.
“Caught in the Crosshairs” by Natalie Walters
Walter’s story had a little more action than Blackburn, but still not as much as Eason’s. Readers who are familiar with Walters first published series will see familiar characters, which is a nice touch. Plenty of suspense and action to satisfy the cozy mystery fans of the romantic suspense genre. As for the romance, it was ramped up and threw each character for a loop as they navigated the danger that threaten their lives. Good for the romantic suspense genre.
I received a complimentary copy of Targeted by Lynette Eason, Lynn H. Blackburn, and Natalie Walters from Revell Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.

This is a must read for anyone who likes suspense.
Three great authors provide page turning into mysteries trying to be solved.
Because I follow these authors I was familiar with many of the characters woven into this book.

I enjoy all these authors, so having them together in one package always guarantees and adventure. These three novellas are spinoffs of the minor characters in their other series'. It's enjoyable to "visit" the same characters again and with the writing style of these authors, there's a lot of action.

That being said, I generally struggle with novellas, they're just too short for the character development I'm used to from these authors in their full novels. So I'm giving this 3 stars.

This is a set of three suspense filled short stories. In the first two books, the authors have chosen at least one character referenced in a previous book to write about (In full disclosure, I haven't read Natalie Walters before).

I really enjoyed the first two stories. They stood out for me as I had read the books that the characters were mentioned. Both were well written and could be read as standalone stories (but I do recommend reading the rest of the series they were mentioned in to get context).

Natalie Walters story did keep me reading but I found I didn't relate to either of the lead characters. Thus I found this harder to get into. I also wondered if the character was mentioned in another one of her books and that is why I felt I was missing something. I liked the leads were from different cultures which may appeal to a few people.

For fans of these ladies (and even if you aren't), I felt it was worth the read. While I got this in exchange for an honest review, I would be quite happy to get this through Amazon.

A great showcase by three of the best in the business.

Lynn Blackburn is my favorite of the three authors however, Caught in the Crosshairs was my favorite of the three novels. On the run, by Lynette Eason starts off with action. I was able to read the first chapter in one of her previous books so I was really looking forward to this one. Lets just say this book was amazing and Dr. Donahue should is in the wrong career. Deadly Objective, by Lynn Blackburn was also action packed. I loved that this story was different from all other mystery suspense novels. Out of the three books, I loved the chemistry between Emily and Liam the best. In Caught in the Crosshairs, Ari and Claudia grew so much from the first chapter to the last. I really don't want to give spoilers as aforementioned that this was my favorite of the three.

I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley but all opinions are my own.

I love the books of these three authors, so when I saw they were doing a novella collection, I was all in. I was NOT disappointed, either. Not one bit.

Suspense is my favorite genre and these ladies know how to deliver it and deliver it well. Each has taken a secondary character from their earlier series and given them their own story. But don't worry! They can totally be read as a stand alone story.

Lynette Eason, Lynn H. Blackburn, and Natalie Walters have just shown out here, folks. These novellas definitely satisfied this suspense lover's heart. Great action, totally unputdownable, and enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. They just knocked it plumb out of the park. I love it when a book makes me feel this way! Without a doubt, this trio of novellas, from some of the best suspense authors in the business is definitely one for the keeper shelf!!

My thanks to the publisher for a copy of this book via Net Galley. The opinion here is entirely my own.

This book scores three for three! Two of the authors are favorites of mine and one was new to me. All three novellas were excellent! While some novellas tend to be light on substance and details, all three of these are complex, packed with action, and prime examples of romantic suspense. I highly recommend it!
