Big Trouble Ahead by Allen Jackson is a must read for our times. I had been introduced to Allen Jackson by listening to his daily radio program on my way to work each day. He is humorous and engaging. However, it is his no nonsense approach to scripture and Christian walk that pulled me in.
Big Trouble Ahead addresses the troubled times we are living in with hope and certainty that God is in charge and Christ will come again to make all things new. Scripturally sound, practical and you will have trouble putting this book down.

Allen Jackson is a magnificent writer and pastor. His writing speaks about what is happening today and how to use a Biblical perspective. He gives one hope for the future despite so much negativity seen in our world today.

This is a book that everyone needs in their home library. It's full of hope and inspiration and shows how God is still in control no matter how crazy this world gets. It is only through a strong faith in Him that you can overcome the fear in what will happen tomorrow. This is a book I will read more than once.

Big Trouble Ahead

I have never read anything by this author before. I will definitely look for more books written by him. He says what he feels and is not sorry for his views, yet he is optimistic. There are lots of problems in our country and world but he believes that we can be the solution if we trust and believe in God. He gives lots of references to what we as a country and world are going through at the present time and what has already come to pass. He also gives lots of scripture references to back up his convictions. Some of this book was unsettling, but at the same time made me want to draw closer to God. One quote, “We pursue holiness by following Jesus’ example and allowing the Holy Spirit to work to transform us from the inside out”, really says it all. Overall, this was a very thought provoking and soul searching book for me. I did enjoy it. I believe if you are questioning and worrying about the future, this would be a great guide to help you move forward and past your fear.
