All Roads Lead to You is the second in Ashenden's Small Town Dreams series. I've read both the first book and this one and loved them both so much! The series follows a group of 3 American women who find themselves in New Zealand opening a local arts and craft gallery for tourists. This book is about Beth and Finn. Both of the characters have experienced great loss in their lives that they are still healing from, yet they find themselves unwillingly attracted to the other and despite their best efforts, discover that they could actually help each other heal and even be a family. This is a story of grief, healing, love, romance, and family. I adore the characters in this series and can't wait to read the next book out Indigo! This could be read as a stand-alone, however, I recommend reading all 3 books in the series! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this book. it's book 2 in the series and I already have book 1 on my way to read. it's a contemporary romance. This is my first book from this author but it won't be my last, if you like the grumpy/sunshine trope, you 'll like this one.

All Roads Lead To You is the second book in the Small Town Dreams series by Jackie Ashenden. This one brings us back to Brightwater Valley, New Zealand where the community is still working on the towns revitalization. Bethany Grant is a jewelry designer who has moved to the area hoping for a fresh start. In the short time she has been there, she and her best friends have created a plan to open their own gallery. Everyone she encounters has been so welcoming to her. Well everyone except for Finn Kelly.

For some reason Beth and Finn get under each others skin with each interaction they have. There is an obvious attraction between them but, neither one seems willing to act on it. Beth is ready to love again but doesn't want to rush into anything. Meanwhile, Finn has sworn he would never get involved with anyone else since his wife passed five years ago from cancer. The problem is that two of their friends are now engaged and they have to be in each others pathway even more.

These two characters have such a slow burn together. It starts out like a powder keg once they finally act on their feelings but, there are consequences for their actions. These consequences bring them closer together and allow them to see each other in a different light. Both of these characters have been hurt in the past and they both have walls that need to come down in order for them to connect. I loved the small town romance feel of this story and the banter that flows between them. Especially when Finn tries to make decisions for Beth and she puts him back in his place.

All Roads Lead To You brings you back to beautiful small town where everyone knows something about everyone else. You don't necessarily have to read the first book in the series (Find Your Way Home) but, it will help you understand the dynamics between the characters. For me it was so nice to return to a familiar location with familiar characters who were growing and changing. I'm very much looking forward to the next book in the series (Right Where We Belong) which will feature two characters who have been getting under each others skin from their first meeting.

There is a lot going on in this story. This is the second book in this series but can be read as a standalone.

Beth moved to New Zealand with her friends for a new life and to work on their dream.

Finn lost his wife five years ago and is still dealing with that grief.

These two have sparks flying between them but Finn is against pursuing anything and has become the town grump pushing everyone away.

After one night of passion where they give into attraction Beth finds out she's pregnant.

Finn really irritated me with how much he was trying to control the situation and how he wasn't that nice to Beth.

I love the setting and I like the concept of this series.

This was a contemporary romance that promises to captivate readers looking for a tale of redemption and second chances. While the premise of the story is intriguing, I found myself struggling to connect with Finn as I just didn’t like him. His overall personality dampened my enthusiasm for him. Overall,it was a pleasant predictable read, it was sweet and straightforward.
Many thanks to SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

4 STARS for All Roads Lead to You ( Small Town Dreams Book 2 ) by Jackie Ashenden

Small town romance with opposites attract. Setting is New Zealand loved how descriptive the book is of this beautiful country !

Finn is Mr Grumpy to Bethany’s Ms Sunshine. Sparks fly all the same!

Good read !

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and this is my honest review !

I had high hopes for this one, especially after loving the first book, and unfortunately I wanted more out of it.

Was it entertaining? Yes. Did I enjoy it overall? Yes.

But, I felt the interactions were a little rushed, while other parts worked so well. I absolutely love the small town in this series, and all the characters, so that is maybe why I felt something missing. The potential was all there, but I just wanted more for both Finn & Beth.

Even if this one was a little flat, I am looking forward to the next one. Indigo & Levi are favourites and I can't wait to read their story!

Thank you @netgalley for the copy in exchange for a review!

This is a google book. The two main characters are Beth and Finn. There is an instant attraction. They decide to have a one night stand with no strings. Six weeks later Beth is throwing up. They go and get a pregnancy test,. Yes she is pregnant. Finn wants her to move in with him and let him protect her. Then he ask her to marry him. Then he says he can’t love her, but she doesn’t believe it. Finn realizes he is in love with her.

Absolutely love Finn and Beth and would love more follow up to their story! Beth has recently relocated to small town in New Zealand from Alaska to continue her Jewelry business. She is also running from some grief and loss. Finn is from the small town and has his own grief and loss he is experiencing. These two try with all they can to be vocal to one another keep it as friends but their chemistry keeps pulling them back. I would love more in-depth coverage of their love story. Love how these two characters both grown and can open up to find love again. Many thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for the eARC. All opinions expressed in this review are my own

I love that this book was set in New Zealand. This is the second book in the series and follows the relationship between Beth and Finn.
Beth is originally from Alaska but has moved to New Zealand to save this small town by opening a gallery.
Finn has been grumpy to her since she moved into town but is really just trying to deny his attraction to her as he lost his wife 5 years early. Beth is also hiding from her past life. After a one night stand leads to pregnancy, the two move into together to try to figure out a plan together as friends.
This is very much the grumpy/sunshine trope. Both characters have suffered some deep grief which impacts their actions.
It's an enjoyable read and I look forward to the next book in the series.
Thanks to Netgalley.com and Source Books Casablanca for my complimentary eARC copy.

If you love a small town romance, this one’s for you. I was all in after the first page and devoured the book in one sitting. It was an absolutely enjoyable read and made me want to plan my next vacation to New Zealand.

Finn and Beth are both so incredibly vulnerable with their grief. With a grumpy (Finn) and sunshine (Beth), their relationship was contentious at first. They ended up being a true lifeline and support to one another - just what they needed. My favourite term of endearment is honey, so Finn sure knew the way to my heart.

Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I don’t know that this author/series is the right one for me. Book 2 was very similar to book 1 in themes, but just throw an accidental pregnancy in.

I just wasn’t invested in a relationship between Finn and Beth. There’s definitely a physical attraction between the two, but I felt like there weren’t enough interactions for them to have an emotional connection as well. The ending felt rushed to me and I felt that Finn needed to do some more work and should have been slowly opening up to the idea of loving someone else the entire book instead of flip switched at the end.

I loved the premise of this book, but this one just fell a little flat for me.

I was excited for a female lead with my own name in a contemporary romance, but then my least favorite trope showed up and the MMC was too pushy/demanding for my taste. This romance would be great for someone who likes a more stubborn male lead. I liked the first book in this series, so I think this book was an anomaly for me.

Beth and her 2 friends move from Alaska to Brightwater Valley in New Zealand with the plan to bring tourism to town. For Beth, she’s also hoping for a fresh start. Enter Finn, a local nature guide. These two get under each other’s skin but the sparks also fly.

This was a small town romance about learning to love again, fresh starts and a rocky romance. I do think reading the first 2 books in this series would have made me understand the characters and their background more.

A grumpy and sunshine story. Bethany is new in town, where loner Finn just wants to be left alone. Will he let her in and give her a chance?

I absolutely adored the setting and the intriguing characters. I love the grumpy-sunshine trope!! I loved the pacing. This book was well written with lots of great conflict. Bethany moves to New Zealand to avoid her past. Here she meets the hero, Finn, with a past of his own. This one gave me all the wonderful feels! This author always does a great job of this. If you want a great book that takes you away for awhile, I highly recommend this one. Huge thanks to Netgalley and Sourcebooks for allowing me to read and review this book.

3.75stars- ALL ROADS LEAD TO YOU is the second instalment in Jackie Ashenden’s contemporary, adult SMALL TOWN DREAMS erotic, romance series-a spin off from the author’s ALASKA HOMECOMING SERIES. This is Kiwi wilderness guide Finn Kelly, and American jewelry designer Bethany ‘Beth’ Grant’s story line. ALL ROADS LEAD TO YOU can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

SOME BACKGROUND: In the wake of failures and disappointments back home, best friends and Americans Izzy, Indigo and Bethany head to New Zealand to start a new business venture in Brightwater Valley, a small town that is slowly dying without some much needed help from start up entrepreneurs.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Finn and Beth) ALL ROADS LEAD TO YOU follows the building but acrimonious relationship between Finn Kelly and Beth Grant. Finn Kelly works as a wilderness tour guide in Brightwater Valley, New Zealand but Finn struggles with demons from the past, demons of which he is unable to let go. Beth Grant’ s attraction to Finn Kelly is immediate but Finn wants nothing to do with our story line heroine, and refuses to accept her bubbly personality is honest or real. A one-night stand with Finn forces Beth to reconsider the future, a future that is about to change for them both but as Finn continues to struggle with the past, Beth quickly realizes she may be heading into the future alone. What ensues is the building but heart breaking relationship between Beth and Finn, and the potential fall-out as Finn refuses to fall in love, or let Bethany Grant into his heart.

The relationship between Beth and Finn begins acrimoniously as Beth doesn’t understand what she has done wrong. Finn is grumpy, stand offish, and rude, forcing Beth to confront our story line hero. Both Finn and Beth battle with heartbreaking losses from the past but Finn refuses to move on, destroying Beth in the process. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to Izzy and Chase (Find Your Way Home), Levi; baker Bill Preston, and rancher /horse farm owner Clint. Levi and Indigo’s story is next.

ALL ROADS LEAD TO YOU is a story of grief and loss, acceptance and understanding, love and letting go. The premise is emotional and heart breaking; the romance is affectionate and considerate; the characters are interesting but Finn Kelly is broken and lost.
