Like all of Jaimie's novels The Beekeeper at Elderflower Grove did not disappoint. I found the characters very loveable and I enjoy Jaimie's writing style. I've recommended this book to so many people! My only thought it that the story could have been condensed a bit.

Jaimie really can do no wrong - this was a gorgeous story. Although I'm not the biggest fans of bees, I was so enthralled in the life of a beekeeper and the romance was really lovely to read about.

Great storyline and great characters made the book hard to put down.
I have thoroughly enjoyed all of Jaimie’s books that I have read so far and I will continue to read without having to know what they are about first.

Had totally forgotten I had this book to read and review. Once I found it I was totally engrossed. Such a beautifully written book. So much so I’ve just ordered Jaimie’s whole back catalogue.
I want to live at Elderflower Grove and help Kayleigh with the honey collections.

This was such a sweet romance to read with just enough mystery and everyday magic. The bees left a buzzing in my heart and the beekeeper made me happier than I could have ever imagined. I was hesitant because I am not usually a contemporary fiction person, but it was adorable.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
This book is billed as a romance, and naturally the course of true love never runs smooth. There are many comical moments, and lots of clever dialogue with outstanding descriptions of the atmosphere within the run-down garden and house. Summer and nature are clearly evoked, so that the reader feels all the uplifting benefits of fresh air, sunshine, flowers and wild insects / creatures, aided by the facts about bees at the start of each chapter - these were fascinating. The background story of the disappearance of the original owner provides a thread against the current story of Carey and Kayleigh, and there are a few twists at the end.
More than just a simple romance, this clever summer read has made me sign up to follow this author, and buy another of her books already.

Another gorgeous, captivating and funny read from one of my favourite authors.

Kayleigh is back living with her mum after losing both her relationship and her business. She's so desperate to find a job that she even applies for the role of beekeeper. The job is based at the local manor house and seems perfect, apart from the small detail of having absolutely no experience of beekeeping.

The manor house holds a special place in the community and many happy childhood memories.

Luckily Kayleigh finds help from an unexpected source, revealing secrets about themselves and the manor house along the way.

A stunner of a book with a premise that was spellbinding- a lady who knows nothing about bees has to quickly jump in at the deep end to keep them all safe, healthy and living! The setting at an abandoned Manor House is perfect, as is the story around what happened to the owner. Strangely this book made me think of paranormal cozies, and I sucked up every tiny detail. A gorgeous gorgeous book that everyone should read!

Really enjoyable book. Plenty of romance and a dash of intrigue. Thoroughly fabulous read. I learnt a lot about keeping bees! My first read by this author but not my last. I finished this book with a joy in my heart and a smile on my face, you can’t ask for more.

Thanks Netgalley

Not my usual genre but I love bees and the sound of this book just drew me in. I loved it from the very first page to the very last. I've enjoyed every second of reading, I liked the little mysterious twists, I liked the characters, i liked the pace of the story and I loved the bees. I'm immediately off to see what other books the author has!

What a buzzing read this proved to bee
With honey, secrets and more than one mystery!
I really enjoyed it right from the start,
The story of two, each with a broken heart
And a place that called to them and helped them heal
Whilst between them the truth they helped to reveal.

The new job for Kayleigh Harwood is quite a surprise
To get it, however, she has to tell lies!
She's the new beekeeper at the old manor house for now
What a pity she doesn't know what to do or how!

This book is such a fun read to enjoy and so
I highly recommend you also give it a go.
It had me laughing most of the way through
As Kayleigh learned quickly what a beekeeper should do.

There's another investigation that she helps to make
With the future of the bees and Elderflower Grove at stake.
Can they thwart the plans of the councillor and his mates
Or does the house have its own plans for their fates?

Bee tempted to give yourself a buzz reading this book
There are puns galore when you take a good look!
For my complementary copy, I say thank you,
As I share with you this, my honest review.

The Beekeeper at Elderflower Grove by Jaimie Admans

Okay, can we just stop short for a second and look at the beautiful cover? Yeah, go ahead. Scroll back up. Isn't it lovely? It honestly captures the feeling of the story remarkably well, giving us the sense of the magic, romance, and nature awaiting us inside. Now, on to the story...

Ever have a book that you just loved, and yet you couldn't quite put your finger on exactly why it was that you loved it so much? Was it the capability of the written words to transport you from your own time and place into the pages as you follow Kayleigh from the land of personal disaster to a honeycomb of opportunity? Was it the awkward yet funny meet cute where a stranger almost gets run through, yet manages to turn into a friend by the name of Carey with the potential for more if they can overcome some personal and emotional obstacles? Was it the second storyline of a love lost or gone wrong for the mysterious former tenant of the manor house at Elderflower Grove who has been missing and presumed deceased for almost 7 years? Was it the hidden agenda of a particular person hiding behind a social media bee filter that comes to light, only to not be quite as menacing as at first they seemed? Or perhaps, it was all of it, plus the added magic of Elderflower Grove itself that warmed my heart, tweaked my imagination, and had me turning pages well into the night...

All I can say is that the story really worked its magic on me. From the lonely hearts to the mystery to the unexpected humor to the manor house that just seems to know what a good caretaker may need, there's a little something for everyone to revel in as this story unfolds. I highly recommend this title for fans of Women's Fiction, Contemporary Fiction, and Contemporary Romance. If readers let this book work its magic, you'll not only get a crash course in beekeeping and honey making, but a reminder that magic DOES exist, if only we let ourselves BEE-lieve...
