Enjoyed the narration of this fast paced thriller. If you are looking for logic and plausibility, look elsewhere. But for pure entertainment, and a fun (if over the top) main character . . . the buck stops here. A stand alone for the serial inclined Baldacci, but this feels like the coming together of a new team with this main character and his roommate digging into crime.

I have been a long time reader of David Baldacci, having read the majority of his books. Of the most recent releases, this was my favorite. I enjoyed seeing a new main character in a different setting. And the twist at the end I did not see coming. The audio book was good quality and I enjoyed having multiple narrators, which definitely helped me focus and know who was speaking. Overall I would recommend this listen and/or book.

Very engaging, right up until the end, when it totally jumped the shark.

I have not read Baldacci for a while and I forgot how well he writes for my soul. Well it is a crime thriller but he knows how to touch a reader with deep characters, many charcters that are possible guilties, leads going and coming to you. Here we have a suicide that is suspect and I was on the edge all the time listening. Exciting and high paced. I immagined like everything was happening in my office. I am really grateful to Netgalley and Hachette Audio for this great ALC.
