Over the Moon with You has an interesting premise and one I wasn't quite sure I'd be able to engage with. Luckily, I really enjoyed it and think Clevenger did a great job at resolving Paige and Seren's predicament of pregnancy = baby and what happens next in a very new relationship.

When Paige and Seren meet, Seren is four months pregnant. It leads to some big discussions and decisions needed quite early in a relationship. For me, really felt for Seren and the way she felt so conflicted. It felt very realistic. Meanwhile, Paige was a sweetheart and I absolutely adored her. I really liked the way they communicated and interacted with each other. It was refreshing, particularly with such a heavy topic.

For me, there was nothing to dislike in this novel. I love Clevenger's writing style, her characters and her stories. There was an excellent amount of steam in this novel too. 🔥

Many thanks to Netgalley and Bella Books for a copy of this novel. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

Over The Moon With You was a fun story to read, though it did have its moment where it had me feeling quite emotional. For that reason, This is probably my new favourite book by Jaime Ckevenger. The characters were refreshingly real, and it showed through their actions and dialogue.

The story surrounds Seren, who has moved back to her home town after a loss in her family, and when she finds she has a instant mutual attraction with a local veterinary, Paige, it causes her to question her plans for the future.
Adding to her complications is the fact that she is pregnant and plans on being a single Mum, not falling in love along the way.

Being a story set in a small town, there is the usual bunch of nosey neighbours - or in this case a a group of elderly women who spend their days doing water aerobics and gossiping. These secondary characters add a depth of humour to the story, creating quite a few laugh out loud moment.

I really enjoyed the chemesty that developed between Seren and Paige over the course of the book. They had their moments of romance, and intimacy with a touch of angst thrown in. I really like the authentic reactions to certain situations - I won't go into details to avoid spoiling the story, but it was nice to read dialogue that felt like it came from real life.

This book comes highly recommended if your after an enjoyable small town romance packed full of old biddies who love talking about boobs, cute little calves, hot veterinarians and a whole lot of steaminess thrown into the mix.

At 37, Seren Winters is making a life-long dream come true – she’s four months pregnant and will be a single mom. Unfortunately, though, her mom has died, and she’s now tasked with get her house ready to sell. When her doctor recommends she take a water aerobics class, Seren reluctantly agrees to it. She has no sooner arrived at the pool for her first class than she accidentally knocks the instructor into the pool. Paige Dannenberg, a veterinarian, is stepping in for her mom as the teacher of an aerobics class when her mom falls and hurts her tailbone. Paige, who has no rhythm and no idea what to do as an aerobics instructor, runs into a student on her first day at the pool and is unceremoniously dumped, fully clothed, into the pool. Before they meet, neither woman is interested in a relationship, but fate has already ordained that they are meant to be together, and everyone knows you can’t mess with fate.

The author takes her time in building the relationship between Paige and Seren even as she is developing her characters. What she has created is one the better LesFic romances so far this year. Both Paige and Seren are likable characters, both have valid reasons for not wanting a relationship, especially Seren. Clevenger slowly lets the relationship develop in a way that has her readers invested. Seren is the better written of the two characters, and though she falls for Paige in spite of herself, she’s the one to back away.

There’s very little angst in this book which makes the story flow smoothly. Clevenger throws in humor and scenes we probably won’t see anywhere else any time soon like the birth of twin calves on the characters’ third date. The result is a very readable book that readers won’t want to put down.

If you like well-written books with characters you’ll be sorry to say goodbye to at the end of the story, then this book is for you. If you prefer your romance novels to be full of angst and drama, this probably isn’t the book for you.

My thanks to Bella Books and NetGalley for an eARC.

I’ve become a recent fan of Clevenger’s books and in “Over The Moon With You”, Clevenger narrates a story that explores the growth of a relationship and the trust & vulnerability that is required to make it all work.

Seren has just gotten pregnant and has to figure out a number of things including where she is going to live after selling her mothers house, so it’s incredibly inconvenient when she meets Paige who is shaping up to be her perfect “one”.

This story is all about how a relationship evolves, from the initial attraction to moving towards each next step and the delicate balance needed to navigate all the uncertainties that makes up life. I really liked the deep character development of both these characters. Paige was extremely likable from the get go and is a wonderful complement to the complex personality and experiences that makes up Seren. I’ll admit I was a little ticked off by all the back and forth with Seren and whether she wanted to pursue anything with Paige, but change is hard and so by the latter half of the book I totally empathized with her struggles.

This book was also hilarious - from the spicy seniors, Paige’s mom to Seren’s bff Leslie, they kept me cracking up at their antics and banter. And lastly let’s not forget about steam coz it seriously packs a whole lot of 🔥 and is the perfect payoff to the slow burn churning through the story.

This was a wonderful weekend read that had plenty of romance, humor, steam and a low angst HEA that made my day.

3.5 stars. This is a very sweet and steamy book which has some fun moments too, including an awkward water aerobics class and a gaggle of grannies (who have a strange fixation on boobs) meddling in the love life of the two main characters. In general, I like Clevenger’s writing and this book was no exception, I almost read this in one sitting and enjoyed it. Yet, this was not one of my favorite books by Clevenger, mainly because I didn’t really see the problem in their problem.

Paige, a veterinarian, takes over teaching her mother’s water aerobics class and meets Seren, a massage therapist, who just started water aerobics. There is instant attraction but Seren is pregnant and wants to focus on the pregnancy and her upcoming baby so she’s not looking for a relationship.

There is definitely chemistry between the two, and they decide to casually date. They are instantly cute together and I liked their building romance, not to mention all the adorable animals. I might want to have a cow now. Their dating (which was not casual at all) was so easygoing and in sync that it felt as if a problem was being created that wasn’t there just to include tension and add some weight to the storyline. Maybe it’s my lack of understanding though, as someone who doesn’t have children.

This is an easy and enjoyable book which delivers a sweet romance and steam, and very cute animals, ideal for a relaxed Sunday afternoon.

Jamie Clevenger continues to surprise me with consistently good storytelling. This time she draws on her real life work as a veterinarian. Paige Dannenberg is a veterinarian in smallish town in California. When her mother takes a fall she good naturally takes over teaching water aerobics to a rowdy bunch on senior citizens. Seren Winters is single and four months pregnant. At 38 her pregnancy is high risk and her doctor suggests water aerobics. Of course there is attraction between the two and much teasing from the elderly class mates. Seren sees Paige as the whole package but the timing is bad. She wants to see where the relationship goes but to her the baby is an end date. Paige is equally drawn to Seren but friend or lover lines are blurry.

I love so many things in this story. The communication is excellent. Paige is more awkward but both are trying to be honest. The sweetness of a biking date is delightful as are all things with cows. The heat between the two is palpable. I liked the naturalness of the check ins and consent. Seren who is a massage therapist wants to give Paige a massage but checks in that is okay and doesn’t conflict with their toppy role. These two make the loveliest couple. Throw in cats, dogs and baby cows and I’m over the moon in love with this romance. Thank you to NetGalley and Bella Books for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a special book by Jamie Clevenger since they take some of their real life knowledge as a veterinarian and incorporate it into the storyline. Paige is a veterinarian whose mother, Bea, has just broken her tailbone. Bea teaches water aerobics and now needs someone to fill in for her. She volunteers her daughter who knows nothing about water aerobics and is also somewhat clumsy.

On her first day at the pool, Paige is setting up to teach the class and is a little too close to the pool. A new student who just happens to be pregnant, opens the door and stumbles into Paige and Paige ends up in the pool fully clothed. The new student, Seren (aka Serendipity), is highly embarrassed but also highly attracted to her wet butch aerobics instructor.

Over the course of the two weeks while Paige is filling in as the water aerobics instructor, she and Seren become friends, but due to her pregnancy, Seren insists that they cannot become anything more. But their chemistry and attraction is indisputable.

The book was an excellent read with intense character; the contemplation of what both Seren and Paige wanted for their lives and their relationship; the spicy seniors from water aerobics; and the blazing hot love scenes, of which there were several, that amped up the book. 4.5 stars

Vet Paige is a dreaming of owning a farm and fill it with cows but in the meantime she needs to sub for her mum at her water aerobics class after. She is accidentally pushed into the pool by pregnant massage therapist Seren. And it’s lust at first sight but Seren is determined not to have a relationship and focus solely on her future baby. But Paige is insistent and loves cows just as much as Seren’s late mum, is their meeting serendipity? Have a read and find out, I enjoyed reading it.

We all know Jamie Clevenger can write but I loved this book especially because she takes knowledge from her job as a vet into the storyline and it makes the plot really believable.
Paige and Seren have such undeniable chemistry and I thoroughly enjoyed their flirty dialouges. Water aerobics as a meet cute is hilarious and very befitting to them, I wish I had a great story like that. The subtle, or not so subtle, teasing of the senior ladies were such a great addition and I loved Bea, Paige's mom, as a character as well.
Clevenger knows how to write the steamy parts and definitely delivered here, it got really freaking hot. As expected for a romance novel there was a lot of cheesy stuff, obstacles to overcome but I loved the ending and this overall really wonderful book!
