Visions of Power by Charlee James

Kinley Wright is a hard nosed detective and the secret sole survivor of a ruthless serial killer. Having moved away from her home built a new life as a homicide detective. She received threading emails then her secret has been splashed across every media source. She contacts Easton Adair who is a cyber intelligence/ tech whizz for the FBI to help her. They connect in a way neither expected they have both been damaged in their past but are managing to heal each other. Will they win the race against the killer before he manages to finish what he started all those years before?

An extremely well written book which is a real page turner that had you on the edge of your seat with the dark moments and the warm smiles with Kinley and Easton relationship grows.

This was an okay book

It has a lot of action a serial killer, state trooper and a FBI agent romance. Good pace and fast read.
I think there were parts that could have been better. But overall an okay read

Fantastic!

Twists, turns, angst, heart, emotion…….a well blended combination making a riveting story.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

This book has a little bit of mystery, some drama, lots and lots of steam. In this book you get one alpha AF hero and one sassy heroine that will make you fall in love this them!.

This was my first book by Charlee James that I’ve read, and it did not disappoint! The relationship between Easton and Kinley is instant and strong from the start. The idea that two people who have been through unspeakable things can find strength, solace, and healing in each other is so beautiful and heartbreaking all at the same time. The only reason I’m not giving it a 5/5 is because I felt like the ending was a bit rushed and I would have loved to learn more details about how the entire situation resolved. That being said, this story had two things in a book that I absolutely love: true crime and romance. This will absolutely not be the last of Charlee’s books that I read!
