my emotions are everywhere! I loved the characters and their meaningful, angsty, sentimental story! I highly definitely absolutely recommend it!

Very good! I haven’t read the other books in this series, but that’s not an issue at all!
I enjoyed the timeline of this book. So much yearning between the main characters!!!! So good! Chemistry was fantastic! The steamy scenes were great!
I love that we saw some of the filming process for the character’s show. Without it, I think the book would have lost a little something.
I really enjoyed this read! Hopefully I’ll read the next two soon! It’s in the plans!

I liked the premise of this book, but it was too slow and a story I could really get into. Thank you NetGalley for providing me with this book in exchange for my honest review.

Has this book been out for a while? Yes. Did I JUST now finish it? Also yes. But in true Olivia fashion, we have plus size love and I was here for it! But also, a plus size FMC AND MMC? This was fun but deeper than the other two books that are in the Gods of the Gates world.
I felt like this dragged on more than it needed to and Peter was not a MMC I was goo goo Gaga over.

Olivia Dade writes romance between plus size FMC and dreamy swoony MMCs. I love the diverse size representation and the creative careers and themes. I love how there is always a HEA. Will definitely read more.

A hilarious, steamy romance between two TV stars stuck on a remote filming location for years. Their slow-burn chemistry is amazing, and the emotional vulnerability feels real. A little long, but incredibly rewarding.

Dade delivers a captivating tale of second chances and self-discovery, laced with humor and heart, making it a delightful read for anyone who loves a heartfelt romance. I said heart too many times in this sentence but we're moving on

I just finished "Ship Wrecked" by Olivia Dade, and I've got some mixed feelings. It was a solid 3 stars for me.
First off, I really appreciated the strong, independent vibe of the female character. You could definitely feel the "women empowerment" theme running throughout the story, and that's always a plus in my book. It's refreshing to read about women who know their worth and aren't afraid to go after what they want. The whole premise was intriguing, and I found myself rooting for the characters to succeed.
However, and this is where it gets a little tricky, I felt like the author kept hammering home the same points over and over. But after a while, it started to feel like beating a dead horse. The message, while important, became a bit repetitive, and it slowed down the pacing for me. I needed some more nuance and less... well, less pounding of the message.
The romance was sweet, and the characters were likeable enough. But I think I would have enjoyed it more if the author had trusted the reader to grasp the empowerment themes without constantly reiterating them.
Overall, "Ship Wrecked" is a decent read with some great moments, especially if you're looking for a story with strong female leads. Just be prepared for a bit of repetition in the message delivery. It's a good beach read, but not one I'll be raving about for ages.

*Ship Wrecked* by Olivia Dade is a fun and steamy romance with a unique premise—two actors from a hit TV show who reunite after years apart while stranded on a remote island. The chemistry between the characters is undeniable, and Dade does a great job of developing their connection in a way that feels natural and heartfelt.
The book has plenty of humor and heart, with moments of emotional depth as the characters confront their past and the complexities of their relationship. The setting adds a nice touch of escapism, and the slow-burn romance keeps things engaging.
That said, while I enjoyed the story, I found some parts a little repetitive, and the pacing felt uneven at times. The conflicts between the characters could’ve been resolved a bit more smoothly, and some of the secondary plotlines didn’t fully capture my attention.
Overall, *Ship Wrecked* is an enjoyable, light romance with great chemistry and a fun setting, but it didn’t quite leave the lasting impact I was hoping for. It’s a solid pick for fans of contemporary romance, but not quite a standout for me.

It wasn't a bad read however it wasn't one that I would especially consider. It was sweet with the build up of the characters and the romance, just wasn't particularly my cup of tea.

Ship Wrecked by Olivia Dade is a delightful and engaging romance that will leave you smiling from start to finish. The story follows Maria, an actress who reconnects with Peter, a fellow actor, on a remote island for a film project. Their chemistry, which started as a one-night fling, quickly reignites, setting the stage for a journey of self-discovery, love, and second chances. Dade’s writing is witty and fun, with a perfect balance of humor and heart. The characters are well-developed and relatable, making you root for them throughout. If you enjoy a feel-good romance with great banter and emotional depth, Ship Wrecked is definitely worth picking up.

Alex and Lauren are likable, well-developed characters. It was great to read about characters that had emotional depth and relatable backstories that deal with body positivity, mental health, and abuse. From a less skilled author these heavy topics would drag the plot down but Dade uses these themes to enhance the romance. Funny and wonderful.

I want to love these books so much. I am a big nerd so any sort of fandom send up is my jam. I also studied Latin for 8 years so the Aeneid is like catnip. I just kind of feel all the books in this series have a sort of same-ness. I would love to see the characters get a little more delineation from their predecessors

Olivia Dade, she's such a strange author.for me. I love the ideas behind her books, I think they sound do cute and interesting and then they just do not.hit for me. I'm hoping to one day find one I love.

Olivia Dade can do no wrong in my book! Her romances (and particularly her heroes) are always so fun to read about. I love romances featuring TV/Hollywood personalities, and needless to say, SHIP WRECKED definitely delivered!

Fun, Sexy and Refreshing! That's what I would use to describe this one. I fell in love with the cover and the book did not disappoint!

One of the best romance writers in the game. Never disappoints, always brings it. Could not love her work more.

Of the three books in this series, I both enjoyed this one the most and thought it was the slowest burn of all time. It took me ages to finish this book, I don't even want to say because it was boring but it did feel like it took forever to get to the point. I liked how at the end the 3 books merged together with the climaxes happening all around the same time. Peter's insecurities got on my nerves through the whole book if we're all being honest with each other.

Two actors on a Game of Thrones-esque show falling in loving? Sign me up,
This was such a fun read and my first Olivia Dade book. The tension and the 'he falls first' trope were so well done. I will definitely be reading their other books after this!
Thank you to the publisher for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

This was fun, but I’m glad this series is over because my GOD am I tired of the thinly veiled references to Game of Thrones. Yes we’re all aware it ended terribly but it’s also been YEARS! It kind of ruined the experience for me.
