I've enjoyed some Crooked Lane books in the past so I was interested in what the publisher had coming out later in the year. I've already been approved to read The Collector which I'm really looking forward to and I'm interested in a few of the others in this sampler. I wish it was possible to go to a specific book from a Table of Contents or something similar instead of having to page through the contents. A very handy tool.

I love samplers so I can get a sense of what I should add to my TBR for upcoming books. This sampler has some really interesting books and I can't wait to read them this fall!

Love these sampler books they are a fantastic way of getting little tasters from a larger amount of books to enable you to recommend forthcoming books to people you know who may love them as well as a way to try them yourself and decide whether to go ahead and request the full galley or not

I found a few titles that interested me in this book sampler to recommend to friends and maybe request when I see them on Netgalley!

I really like the concept of Samplers for books, you get a taste of the book before you have to fully commit to reading the book. Can't wait to check out a few of these.

I love samplers, they give you an opportunity to read a couple of chapters of books you didn't know you were interested in. The only problem is my TBR grows every time I read a sampler.

I am going to have to read Teen Killers Club so I can dive into Teen Killers in Love.

I love hearing about new books before they are released. I’m most interested in “We Knew All Along” and Teen Killers. My only criticism, would be that the blurbs at the start of the sampler did not have as much detail to pique your interest as the Minotaur sampler by St. Martins Press.

Yess! Loving this sampler. I plan on adding a few of these books to my "Cant wait" post. Mainly the "We Knew All Along" , "House of a Thousand Lies" and "Calypso, Corpses and Cooking". My blog focuses mainly on mystery and Cozy mysteries, so I am anticipating that the last title will be well received. I will need to read book one soon so i can request that book.

I liked to examine a few chapters of these next releases. I'll keep them on my radar in the coming months, especially 'We New All Along' and 'Never Name the Dead'

Wow, this was quite the assortment! Thank you to the publisher via Netgalley for the chance to sample some Fall 2022 releases! I found some to add to my TBR and others that I will pass but still appreciated the chance to try a couple/ few chapters!
If I had to say any negatives: there are several included here that are second in series. I am not sure if they're all meant to be standalones or only read in order but didn't like that. Also the layout was a little strange but it didn't cause any issues, just didn't have the ability to click through to the next book/ chapter.

Crooked Lane is one of my favorite imprints, so I was excited that they had released a sampler of upcoming books. I especially look forward to their mystery/thriller titles. This was the perfect way to figure out what books to request from NetGalley.

I got this specifically for We Knew All Along because it sounded amazing and after reading the excerpt I can't wait to read more!
The rest of the stories/excerpts were fun too.

This sampler was an excellent idea! I loved that I could get a preview/sneak peek of Crooked Lane's upcoming books in Fall 2022. This helps out a lot, I can make a note of books that are interesting to me for my fall reading list. This sampler includes a list of upcoming books, their details (such as release dates), and excerpts of the first few chapters! I highly recommend checking out this sampler!

Several of these books look really good and I am adding them to my wishlist. The sampler itself is a little hard to navigate since it does not have a clickable table of contents, but many of the books really intrigued me. I love a good thriller!
