Always love a good sampler to hype upcoming books! These look and sound so good! A couple of chapters for each book to give you a good grasp on the books and to keep wanting more.

I love being able to sample a book I am interested in before actually investing in reading it. These samplers are like being able to browse the bookstore without a mask, pre-Covid times. I’ve been able to assuredly say I would still like to read some of these books and can leave others off of my ever-growing TBR list. Thank you!

I wasn't sure when I opened the file what I would find but after reading through the samples I was surprised at the number of styles and 'paths' to crime fiction. Crooked Lane Books certainly will appeal to a range of individuals who love to feast on a generous and creative serve of this genre.. There are plenty of upmarket thriller options to keep everyone happy. The samples reflect a varied taste that will appeal to a vast cross-section of reader palates. I love samplers because they introduce me to new authors and it gives me a chance to read a little about one of their books. This was a great Sampler- the format was better than some of the others I've seen because it starts out giving you pictures and snippets of what each book is about that's included- and it's page number. There aren't TOO many where it's overwhelming either.

PERFECT- short, sweet and right to the point with enough of an excerpt to figure out if a book is something you'll want to read.

Where I live, it is supposed to feel like 100 degrees today. Despite this, I know that fall will come and that I will be looking for new reads (as always).
