This was an incredibly unique thriller in a market where thrillers are aplenty. I loved the paranormal element and all the crazy stuff this author put Kat and Faydra through. Very well written

Kat is stalked by otherworldly creatures, including Death, and Faydra is left wondering what she can do to protect her daughter. Navy lawyer Faydra Green is taking some well-deserved time off. Demons of her past have been laid to rest but what about her adopted daughter, Kat? For Kat, her nightmare is just starting. A shocking secret propels a series of events Faydra’s not prepared for. While Kat’s future is in jeopardy, her present is on shaky ground. Unseen forces are tracking Faydra and Kat down as they flee first Egypt and then across Europe. Faydra’s grip on reality blurs as she comes face-to-face with the angel of death whose interest in Kat is disturbing. Can Faydra and Kat stay one step ahead of death and demons? Will Kat choose her future or will her future choose her?

The Girl Who Knew Death is a paranormal thriller I read in one day. From the first page to the last, I was hooked. The premise for The Girl Who Knew Death is a unique one and it captivated my imagination. In this installment, Faydra and Kat battle an unlikely enemy with paranormal powers. The character of Death enrobed in a human body was brilliantly portrayed. The plot moved at an excellent pace with plenty of surprising moments. The characters are well-drawn with interesting dynamics as they interact with each other. The suspense surrounding Kat and Faydra ratcheted up my pulse through intricate action scenes and world-building. This is Norm Harris’ first foray into paranormal and the writing was exemplary. Through his gift for writing thrillers, he builds layer upon layer and the result is an unputdownable, addictive paranormal thriller. If you’re a paranormal reader, you’ll want to read The Girl Who Knew Death. Brilliantly written, The Girl Who Knew Death has everything you want in a paranormal thriller. I can’t wait to read the next installment in this series. Highly recommend!
