This was . . . really poorly written. I wasn't able to get into the story, and I didn't finish it. There was way too much telling and not enough showing.

The description was interesting, but the narrator makes this audiobook difficult to to comprehend. She speaks too fast! I listened through about 10 chapters before I had to quit. Thank you for the opportunity, but this title struck out with me.

This one started out really slow, but once it picked up it had me hooked. I loved this storyline and the characters.

I’m really glad I requested this audio… a love letter to cocktails…I absolutely loved the history behind the cocktails and really the bartending industry. I was not expecting some topics to be so present in the story which made the story read like a memoir and I really enjoyed it. Found family is a favorite trope of mine and Samantha as well as most staff at restaurants establish something similar and loved seeing these characters and their different position come into Samantha’s life. A great debut I would definitely purchase.
