If you have read Holy Hot Mess, then you know what a great author Mary Katherine Backstrom is with her hilarious stories. Once again, she does not disappoint. I will say that Crazy Joy is a different kind of book but it is still a great read.
She takes us along through the ups and downs of life to get us to see the joy that lies within the chaos. “The beauty of joy isn’t found in a garden. It doesn’t grow in neat little rows. It’s found in the crevices, the cracks, and the chaos. “
She takes you on the roller coaster of emotions that we all experience in life in MK fashion and by the time you finish the book, you feel like you have a better vision of the joy that you have experienced in your own journey.

While this book is a quick read, the reader should slow down and really absorb what Ms Backstrom is telling us. Her books are entertaining and pithy….a lot of thought packed into them, as well as some refreshing humor.

Mary Katherine's newest book is a blend of humorous anecdotes, vulnerable moments, and practical ways to find crazy joy in our own lives. You'll feel like you've been having a coffee with a new friend, as she regales you with tales of "Booboozilla" and the "ghost." As you read about making new friendships and being able to quiet the insecurity devils on your shoulders, you'll be reassured that you are enough just as you are. MK knocks it out of the park with Crazy Joy!

What a great read! It was inspiring, reminding me what truly matters in this life. I look forward for this release so I can buy copies for my family and friends.

Another great read by MKB! I love how she is able to put a soft, comedic twist on any topic that she is sharing about. This book is all about finding joy in our lives, despite the fact that joy isn’t always easy to find. I laughed some, cried some and was reminded to keep working towards finding a Crazy amount of Joy in my every day life. 🖤
