This graphic novel was amazing! I was so sad when I ran out of book to read. I can't wait for the next volume to come out so I can dive back into this world. The illustrations and color were also fantastic! Overall, a great read!

This was pretty messy and confusing in some parts because the story moves from scene to scene without giving the readers any time to breathe or understand what's going on.

Overall, I thought this was interesting, but the execution could have been much smoother.

This is exactly the post-apocalypse story that I never knew I needed. Afro-futuristic + post-apocalypse + Hunger Games style bloodbath of brain vs brawn + fascinating disease that is wiping out the population = a stellar story that I couldn't put down!

I need more, this was so incredible.

Three stars solely on the fact that it's an interesting idea and interesting world, and I think it could be developed into something cool. Unfortunately, I found that the art was a little cluttered, to the point where I struggled to figure out what was going on. There was so much new information and so many characters that it was hard to keep up with who was aligned with who, enemies with who, etc. The abrupt switch into a battle royale situation was also pretty out of nowhere, and I don't think it added to the overall plot. On the whole - intriguing idea, but the execution didn't do it justice.
