I loved A Very Merry Bromance. Like the others in the series, there's a blend of serious depth and light-hearted romance. I loved the country music element, and it never fails to get me when the love interest stands up to someone being mean to the protaganist. Lots to love here, and set at Christmastime to boot. A win for me.

Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Very Merry Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams

A holiday contract between a country music star and a grumpy attorney: A Whiskey brand deal in exchange for three dates. Will Colton be able to convince Gretchen to a fourth?

This one was a great addition to this beloved series. It won't be dethroning my favourite Russian, but it was certainly entertaining, funny and a sweet holiday read. I didn't connect with the characters as much as I would of liked. However I continue to really enjoy these grown men bonding together through romance novels and helping each other's love life.

Thank you Netgalley for the digital ARC. As always all thoughts and opinions are honest and my own.

What can I say about any of the Bromance books besides good things?! I love that while a Christmas themed book, it does not center around the holiday in the way of a Hallmark movie but stays true to the bromance book formats. Colton is not my favorite of the guys but I did enjoy hearing his story. (I am Team Vlad all the way!). The family dynamic Colton has is heartwarming and made me appreciate him more as a character. Gretchen again, not my favorite of the group warmed up to me throughout the story as well. I was glad to see their growth and happy ending! I would definitely recommend if you have been enjoying the series so far. As always, the bond the guys have for one another is what keeps me coming back.

I was really excited for another Bromance book but this was probably my least favorite; I did still like it though!

It focuses on Colton, a country singer and friend of the Bromance crew. Colton hooked up with Gretchen, an immigration lawyer, at one of the Bros weddings and then she bolted with no explanation! Gretchen is forced to come into contact with Colton again if she wants a seat on her family's whiskey businesses board.

This is a sunshiny-one/grumpy-one trope as Colton would say. I didn't particularly love Gretchen's character. While I really loved her passion for her job, her family drama was a bit over the top for me. Colton however was fabulous and swoon worthy. I loved how open he was about his feelings for Gretchen, how he stuck his neck out for her, and the sexual innuendos he was always throwing her way. I did also feel like their relationship was a bit more sexual than an emotional connection, but that's ok.

I loved all of our time with the Book Club gang as always. From exercise class to their gift wrapping party, there's never a dull, 'non-fun' moment with the guys; and of course their book romance knowledge is always a good time!

While for the most part I enjoyed it, it wasn't anything super special for me. Maybe had I read it during the holiday season I would've felt it more, but I didn't feel like it was so Christmasey that reading it out of season was unheard of.

Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley Publishing Group for the eARC in exchange for my honest review!

I'm always up for a Bromance Book Club Book! This one centers on country singer Colton and the very grumpy Gretchen. These opposites are thrown together (a year after their one-night stand) so Colton can help promote Gretchen's family business. It's Christmastime, and, due to her complicated family dynamics, Gretchen has never loved the holiday. Colton tries to convince her otherwise while attempting to get his career back on track. It's funny and charming—a sweet Christmas romance.

A Very Merry Bromance is a wonderful holiday addition to Lyssa Kay Adams' hilarious Bromance series. Colton Wheeler and Gretchen Winthrop meet and hook up via mutual friends of The Bromance Book Club. This group consists of men who have read and use romance novels to guide them in their love lives. Clever lads! Colton uses a romance novels with guidance from his friends to woo Gretchen and to help her see how perfect they and their love can be. This has all the feels of a top notch rom com!

This book is just as good as the rest of the series. It never disappoints for me! Watching the couple find themselves and their love for each other and their friends, and of course, support each other throughout was the best!

A Very Merry Bromance is the latest installment of the Bromance Book Club series, this time following Colton and his journey to find love. It was fun to see the bits and pieces from the previous books come to light in this one and to fall in love with yet another couple in this universe. It was a great holiday themed rom-com and as always I greatly enjoyed the ride. This is another fun installment in this series and just feel-good all around. It was so great to finally get to read Colton and Gretchen's love story. (Plus I am a sucker for the grumpy x sunshine trope). I love this series and can't wait to read more!

It's like a Hallmark movie - it's light and fun and predictable in the best possible way! I really enjoy this series and the holiday edition was delightful!

I love the Bromance series. This newest one was a fun sort of second chance romance (they had a one night stand a year ago and work their way back to each other). I hope there are more books to come in the series.

This is another installment in the Bromance Book Club series, and it's just as wonderful as the others. This one has Colton Wheeler, the country crooner and Gretchen, the lawyer. Colton loves Christmas and plans to not only win over Gretchen, but to show her how magical and wonderful Christmas can be. This book is perfect for reading around Christmas, and we even get to spend the holidays with our friends in the bookclub and their better halves. I can't wait for another visit with the guys!

This is such a fun series and it was great to get a Christmas themed book. We had ideas from previous books that these two would eventually get their own story, but it was still exciting and satisfying to read about their love.

Is the Bromance over?
Well I think for me…it is!😢

This book had been sitting on my shelf for a very long time and for some reason I never felt the urge to pick it up. That should have told me something right there!

But once I finally made my way to the book I knew I was in trouble.

The men in the Bromance club used to be fun and it always warmed my heart to see their softer more vulnerable side. But in this latest installment it just didn’t feel genuine. Again…maybe I’m just over it?🤷🏻‍♀️

I think it’s time I cut ties and break up the Bromance.🙁

A Very Merry Bromance was a fun read, though I wish it was a little more Christmassy. I always enjoy these bromance book and being back with the boys. Colton and Gretchen's story was fun and steamy!

Country music’s golden boy Colton Wheeler felt the most perfect harmony when he was with Gretchen Winthrop. But for her, it was a love him and leave him situation. A year later, Colton is struggling to push his music forward in a new direction. If it weren’t about to be the most magical time of year and the support of the Bromance Book Club, he’d be wallowing in self-pity.

It’s hard for immigration attorney Gretchen not to feel a little Scrooge-ish about the excess of Christmas when her clients are scrambling to afford their rent. So when her estranged, wealthy family reaches out with an offer that will allow her to better serve the community, she’s unable to say no. She just needs to convince Colton to be the new face of her family’s whiskey brand. No big deal…

Colton agrees to consider Gretchen’s offer in exchange for three dates before Christmas. With the help of the Bromance Book Club, Colton throws himself into the task of proving to her there’s a spark between them. But Gretchen and Colton will both need to overcome the ghosts of Christmas past to build a future together.

While this may be the fifth book in the series, it’s a first for me from this author. But it definitely won’t be the last! This book was simply adorable and I’m in love with the characters, the story, and the entire gaggle of guys making up the utterly ridiculous Bromance Book Club.

I was worried at first that I might be lost coming in midway through an existing series, but I was quicky able to catch on to the premise: A group of alpha-men have tapped into the secret to understanding women. Romance novels. These instruction manuals give clear advice on how women want to be treated, and by following the rules and themes they’ve found in the books, the men work to help each other as they navigate their way through their own personal journeys. And while it is somewhat unrealistic and idealized that a group of guys would be this in touch with their emotional side, the result is hilariously touching. Watching this group take a jazzercise Silver Sneakers class or clamor around one another providing advice is equal parts ridiculous and sweet, and would be so nice in a perfect world.

In this installment, the guys are helping Colton Wheeler find his muse. It’s been a year since attorney Gretchen Winthrop walked out of his hotel room and his life, but Colton hasn’t forgotten her. As a country music star, he could have any woman he wants, but the one that has captured his heart is the one that wants nothing to do with him.

For Gretchen, it’s fear that makes her run from Colton. As the disposable one in her family, Gretchen has always kept people at arms length for fear of being hurt by them. But when Colton is brought back into her life at Christmas time, the time of the year she hates above all else, the attraction between them flares anew. And with some interference by the Bromance Book Club guys in her corner helping Colton, giving instructions on how to handle the Grumpy One/Sunny One trope, she doesn’t stand a chance.

I truly loved this book. While the underlying premise ridiculous, the story is cute, and the banter between the characters was snappy and quick making me love any interactions between Colton and Gretchen. I fell head over heels for everyone in this story, including all of the book club members and their partners, and can’t wait to go back and read from the start how this Bromance club began.

We love every installment of the BBC and this festive one was sweet and fun! Colton was lovable, but we especially loved Gretchen’s ARC. Not as steamy as some of the others and it definitely has a Christmas vibe!

This was my favorite Christmas romance I read at the end of 2022, and one of my favorites in the Bromance Book Club series! The hero was to-die-for -- so obsessed and devoted to the heroine, who was strong and independent, and tried to fight her inevitable feelings for our charming cowboy (to no avail). A true delight.

Another sweet romance from Lyssa Kay Adams, although I'm wondering if such extreme guilt about one's family wealth is realistic? I found it a little distracting at times.

I've read all the books of this series. I love the first, don't much like the second, liked the third, *really* liked the fourth, and finally, I loved this one! As much as it's mostly a sports romance series and group of men, LKA has done great mixing in non-athlete love interests. I especially love that she wrote this one for the holidays! The series as a whole is larger than life as it goes through each Bro and all through the year. So cool! Great side characters, great drama, great spiciness!

I was so excited for a Christmas Bromance book! However, it ended up being my least favorite book of the entire series.

I found the girl main character to be extremely annoying.
