Sweet Baby Mine tells the story of Ana and Tony who have been married for over 20 years and have a desire to hurt each other. Both had hard unforgiving parents and they are punishing each other and trying to prove who has the right to be suffering. This was a hard tale to read with a ending that I think will have Ana and Tony growing and caring for themselves.

Sweet Baby of Mine is the story about the troubled marriage of Tony and Ana, having BPD disorder, family secrets, and dysfunctional family life. The main characters are not people I would want to know in real life. I tried to get through this book but finally gave up. This book was just too depressing for me.
