You know how they say not to judge a book by its cover? I totally just requested this book because the cover was cute. That said, this book did not disappoint! The art is very cute and stylistically simple, yet with enough going on to make it fun to look at. I loved the character designs and the theme of helping Milo and Lily move in. I am not a parent nor do I have small children in my family, so I can't say I did a test run on any kids, but I'm sure they would enjoy the illustrations and helping Lily and Milo set up their new house. Cute, simplistic, yet fun storyline and great illustrations make this a definite keeper!

This was a very upbeat and cheerful book for younger children. The illustrations are full of bright colors that will keep their attention. The story itself is cute but not unique in any way. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Fun. We get to enjoy Lily and Milo leaving in their house. It's an interactive book where we decide where some objects go with the scene or not. I love the floating art. The bright colors of the background help to focus our attention on the floating objects and characters on the page. The illustrations almost look like stickers. I love that it shows different parts of the house and activities in the house and backyard too. A great book for those who keep putting things in the wrong place ehehe

Thank you Netgalley for the chance to give my honest review.

The House of Lily and Milo is a very cute book that is interactive. I loved the characters Lily and Milo (So silly!). I also enjoyed that it involves the reader to pick out what objects don't belong in that room.
