Laura's daughter Sophie is ready to go of into the world and now is the time for Laura to do something for herself. Her parents were avid dancers and she had a talent for it too and so she decides to join a once-a-week dance school. It is clear to the dance instructor Tony that she has amazing talent and starts pushing her into the right direction.

Laura comes across as shy and timid, but you can clearly see her character evolve the more she dances. Her courage and self esteem grows and she starts doing things for "her." I really liked Tony's character. He was exactly the breath of fresh air she needed in her life.

From Laura's brief trip to Spain, I did want a little more around that part of the storyline. This book flowed so quickly and the story was fast paced and sweet. The ending had a few secrets revealed which in my opinion is always a good way to close off any book.

I really liked the narration, with good voice changes and a nice pace. Overall a nice Women's Fiction book with that added bit of Humor.

Thank you Netgalley and Saga Egmont Audio for the opportunity to review this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

If you are a woman hurtling through your forties and feeling stuck in a bit of a rut with your life not really going anywhere, this book will truly lift your spirits.
Laura finds herself in that very predicament. A dead end job, a grown up daughter and a love life that is as dry as the desert.
Then she joins a dance class which changes everything. Dance teacher Tony Hernandez, sees something special in Laura and gradually he helps her to rebuild her confidence and discover her hidden depths. With Tony’s help, can Laura really learn to dance as though no one is watching?

This is a fabulous bit of escapism. Very moving in places, with some pee your pants funny irreverent humour.

As always Sue Watson writes with skill and her words flow effortlessly.

A fabulous 4 stars from me.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I laughed and cried. All the emotions in the book. Who doesn’t dream of dancing like no one else watching and doing a wonderful show at the same time?.With the partner you trust, it’s the perfect combination. Perfect friendship. Such a glorious union, a dance dream. And all feelings, from bad to the right decisions, from rational to irrational. Just go with the flow and do your best. The present and the past can bring the a great future?

Thank you Saga Edgmond Audio and Netgalley for this alc.
