Unfortunately this just wasn't for me. I have spent the last month or so reading this on and off and was never able to get into it. I finished it only because I was over 70% of the way through and crossed my fingers something would make me love it. I think I didn't enjoy it because the topics and writing style of poetry just wasn't for me. But I do think that if you are someone who likes the style this would be jaw dropping.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for providing me with a digital arc of this book, in exchange for an honest review.

This poetry collection consists of lyrical poems that represent many aspects of spirituality, one of the most prevalent being Zen and individual sustenance and growth. The themes in this poem and raw and sentimental as the writing can captivate readers as they weave their way through the intricate lines of emotional memories, and a purpose of peace and acceptance after trials and tribulations becomes very apparent to anyone reading this heartfelt poetry collection.

I believe that this poetry collection is already beautiful, but people with a deep appreciation for Zen and spirituality would appreciate the meanings even more. The poems themselves were beautifully written and riddled with deeply thought-out meanings and they effectively detailed the realistic tale of life. I think that I would have enjoyed this collection if there were a few more smooth transitions between each poem because it felt a bit jarring at times and pulled me out of the reading experience. I am intrigued to read a bit more about spirituality and then reread this poetry collection in order to appreciate it even further.

Overall, I believe that such a strong collection of spirituality poems would appeal to the minds of many readers, and I hope that many people would be allowed the opportunity to read this collection upon its upcoming publication date. I really enjoyed reading this book and I am grateful to Netgalley and the publishers for allowing me the opportunity to read such an intriguing collection of poems.
