Renaissance Faire hive unite. Jen DeLuca has brought us back to our favorite romance series, in her latest Well Traveled. This time we are spending time with Mitch's cousin Lulu Malone, and Dex MacLean, the lead guitarist of The Dueling Kilts. With Lulu needing an escape from her life, she volunteers to join the RenFaire life and tour with Dex and his band. Lulu knows all about Dex and his f-boy ways, so she's gonna try everything in her power to not fall for him. As time goes on, Dex and Lulu open up to one another in ways they didn't think was possible.

Thank you Jen DeLuca for bringing us back to this world. Romance bleeds from the pages, and she interweaves the stories and characters seamlessly. It's always fun to see characters featured from previous books. While I've loved other stories within this series, this one wasn't my favorite. While still lovable, it was a bit difficult to connect to the characters. Thank you Berkley, NetGalley and Jen DeLuca for the read.

This is my favorite in the Well Met series! Lulu and Dex are the perfect pairing, and I loved how their relationship came back together. Third act breakups can really try me nuts, but everything about the last part of this book worked for me. Jen, PLEASE keep writing this series!!!

This Well Met series is like a summer trip. The ones where you and your friends have decided to go on a road trip. All of the characters are just people you could be friends with. We have a Renaissance fair in my area, and every time I read one of these books, I immediately buy tickets to one of the days. Dex has been in the background for the other books and it was just so perfect to finally hear more about him. Get to know him more than Lothario. Lulu and Dex made me laugh, cry and obviously blush. This was just so nice to read. This was a great addition to this series that I very much adore.

This is the 3rd book in the Well Met series by author Jen DeLuca and let me start by saying, this series stared off with a bang! What originally drew me to the series was my love of the Renaissance Faire and it's been great fun being a part of that. Sadly, the draw has worn off and I was majorly disappointed by this (hopefully last) book in the series.

Mitch, who we met in book 2 has a cousin LuLu, she is a lawyer who is burning the candle at both ends as the saying goes. She's reached burn out after working an exhausting amount of hours and she's tired of constantly being passed up for a well-deserved promotion. LuLu finally says enough is enough and quits her job in dramatic fashion while attending a Ren Faire, of course! With the help of her cousin Mitch she decides to take a break and tag along with a band currently touring through all the Ren Faire's. This is LuLu's chance to regroup and figure out what she wants out of life.

Dex is one of the band members Lulu is staying with, he is an extremely sexy kilt wearing singer/guitar player and is a total dog in my opinion. His side hustle is hooking up with women constantly, like a new woman daily, Olympic sport level. That's just not my jam so I really wasn't feeling his character from the get-go and to make it worse there is no real connection between him and Lulu. Nothing really happens between them, they talk a couple times about nothing really and then hook up. That's the relationship. So while I really appreciated and loved all the Ren Faire moments throughout it just wasn't enough to make up for a lackluster romance.

As a huge fan of the ‘Well Met’ series, I found ‘Well Traveled’ by Jen DeLuca to be such a fun edition. While a little lighter on the romance than previous installments, I found that didn’t matter much to me as the character’s journeys were just SO good. And of course the Ren Faire setting was perfection. Absolutely recommend!

Jen DeLuca has established herself as the queen of the Renaissance rom, and the fourth installment is no exception. Witty, sexy, and smart!

I love this series and this one was so good! Light and dun, exactly what I needed at the time. 4.5 stars!

I read Well Traveled by Jen DeLuca for free from Net Galley. I really have enjoyed all of her Ren Faire rom-coms.. Though I think I missed the third one, I still read this one without any problems. Lulu is a lawyer hoping forever to make partner. Dex is a singer for the Dueling Kilts who we have met in the other books. He was Stacey's hook-up. in the past. He is the type of person who has a girl in every Ren Faire stop. Lulu gets mad at her boss while visiting the RenFaire-She is unhappy in her life as she has no social life and only work. Her cousin Mitch is involved in his hometown's RenFaire and keeps trying to get her to take time and enjoy life. While at the Ren Faire watching the washerwomen, she throws her workphone in the laundry tub. No phone and no job-she decides to take time off and travel with Stacey and the Dueling Kilts. She realizes Dex is a known philanderer and keeps out of his way. He takes to talking to her and eventually they hook-up and start dating. At the end of her time at the Ren Faire-they split up as she thinks she needs to get back to work, but she takes a job that is not soul sucking with another woman. Dex continues on his way but catches up to her and realizes that she is the one for her and they make it work. This book grabs your attention and you just want to see how Lulu makes her life work as we all want work life balance.

Fun read about two very different people who meet and fall for one another on the Ren Faire circuit. Of course the path of true love is not smooth but it can be amusing. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A fun read with good characters that made me smile.

The ren faire nerds are back!!! I absolutely loved Jen DeLuca's brilliant fourth ren faire romance book, WELL TRAVELED. I love all of these nerds so much and every new book in this series makes me fall even harder for these characters and their ren faire world. I loved the unlikely and unexpected pairing of Lulu and Dex. Getting to peel back the layers and understand these characters more deeply really made reading WELL TRAVELED an utter delight. And seeing these two together felt really special. I absolutely adore this series, and WELL TRAVELED was another hit for me.

This series keeps getting better and better. While I didn't love books 1-2, I was won over with book 3, and now, we've got this beauty and, well, I'm here for it. "Well Traveled" gave me an age-gap romance with lovable characters, a fierce female lead, a male lead with a little bit of wild side and laugh out loud moments that made this book a complete joy to read.

Attorney Lulu (Mitch's cousin) takes a summer break to travel from Renaissance Faire to Renaissance Faire with The Dueling Kilts. Falling for bad boy guitarist Dex was not on her summer to do list, but she basically threw her old life out the window...

I'm not a Renaissance Faire fan in real life, but I'm a huge fan of the Well Met series.I thought this was super cute - maybe my favorite? I do wish the Well Met books were dual POV because I wanted to hear from Dex.

I've cherished this series so much! Jen's books always feel like a warm hug and this was no exception. I love the universe created here and wish I could join them at the faire!

First let me say that if you're reading reviews that are saying this reads more like women's fiction that a romance, I agree. This was more about Lulu finding out who she was and her place in the world than it was about her relationship with Dex.

However, unlike other reviewers who didn't see the spark between our love interests, I definitely did! I loved seeing Dex and Lulu grow together through friendship and then through their love for one another. Also, this was my favorite 3rd act breakup - basically ever. It wasn't about miscommunication, they both knew what they'd signed up for. It wasn't about cheating, lying, or some kind of scandal, or fear. It was just about regular old life and how sometimes it pulls people apart.

My FAVORITE part about this book? ALL THE REN FAIRE! Book 3 was very light on the Faire, which made sense because of April's character but that didn't mean I didn't miss it. This book took place almost entirely on the circuit and I had the absolute best time exploring that world with Lulu.

As for future books in this series, I'm not sure where Jen could take it from here, maybe a romance for April's daughter (whose name I'm blanking on at the moment)? I think everyone else has been paired off at this point. But if another book comes up, I'll definitely read it.

I loved this series all the way through! I enjoyed this book. I think that this was the perfect way to close out this series. If you haven't read it yet, you should absolutely pick up Well Met and read the whole series. 💕 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the fourth in the Well Met series, which take place mostly at a renaissance fair (or several of them). Louisa Malone is an attorney and while attending a renaissance fair in her downtime has a (mostly work-induced) panic attack. With the help of her cousin Mitch, from the previous book, she throws in her whole life and goes on the road with the faire. Unplugging completely gives her time to think about what she really wants from life, and open herself up to new experiences and people.

Dex has a bit of a reputation as being the laid-back faire 'bike'. So when he hits on Lulu she doesn't take it seriously. She has already been warned about him, after all. The two of them strike up a friendship, which turns into more. Will they be able to end it when the summer is over?

Overall I really enjoyed this one, and the idea of throwing in your whole life in favor of one with a lot less responsibility certainly has it's appeals some days. I enjoyed Lulu's character and watching her learn more about herself through her experiences. All of the side characters were really compelling too, and I'd love for a spin-off about one of the tarot readers. I did find myself wanting a lot more from Dex's character though. Apart from the physical attraction between the two I didn't really feel anything deeper, even by the end of the book.

the book was sweet and fast paced but now Im done with this series. The first two books were fun but then they all seem similar.

Well Traveled by Jen DeLuca is a wonderful addition to the world DeLuca has created. Humor, romance, and adorable characters.

I really enjoy this series! Every time a new one comes out, I get excited to dive back into their world. The setting is fun, the characters are amazing, and the love stories are always cute.

Lulu and Dex might be my favorite couple of the series. I just love how Lulu said “screw it” with her job and gave herself a summer to recover from the insane hours of being a lawyer (and her crappy bosses). I also love that she saw through Dex’s persona he put on for everyone to the smart, thoughtful guy he truly was.

Highly recommend this whole series for some light reading to dive into!

Thank you to @netgalley and @berkleypub for the arc in exchange for my honest review!
