This book hits so many sweet spots.
Theo is a 1/2 Dominican 1/2 Greek former Olympian who is set to take over his fathers real estate empire. He has had a thing fir his PA for years. Now that she’s leaving his employ, he is ready to make his move.
Alba is a strong, determined Donovan goddess. She has been working 3 jobs while she tries to chase her dream. She’s ready to step into building her own design firm and leave her sexy, asshole boss behind.
I loved that Theo is so together but is a big dumb dummy when it comes to Alba. He is head over heels for her and is all in from the start. Both have family baggage. The sexual tension is off the charts.
I loved both of them. I loved watching them dance around one another. This book is full of found family without losing family of origin. It is not exactly a slow burn. It’s a simmer that when it boils is fire.

It’s quite possible that I loved this book more than the previous in the series. Adriana Herrera writes such real, raw, and relatable characters. Alba is vibrant, fun, and a hardworking boss bitch-definitely the kind of girl you’d want to be friends with. Theo is the ultra sexy, possessive AF man who PINES that we’ve all been waiting for! I loved these characters and so loved watching their story unfold. Once again, Adriana Herrera delivers an emotional yet HOT AF love story that I couldn’t get enough of.

Such a fun, engaging and well written story. It’s a romance in the typical fashion, as well as a story for book lovers. The descriptions of the book themed designs were some of my favorite parts. I hope Adriana Herrera writes a book about every one of Alba’s friends. I want details on all of their lives and to revisit Alba and Theo along the way.
