Even the hatred festering in her heart.
Review:
I’m giving this book a 4-star rating. This book took me by surprise and I’m glad I chose it. The only reason it doesn't get a 5-star review is that there are a few locations where the flow of the sentences isn't correct and this makes it tough to fully enjoy the story.
Conclusion:
Would I recommend this book to others? YES
Is this book a full-length novel or novella? Full-length novel
Would I read other books by this Author? Yes

Birth of the Storm was a ya novel about Kari who is a wolf demon who has lost her parents by humans. Kari must blend in with the humans in order to survive at least until she can get revenge for them. She has lightning powers. Can she possibly find happiness in a world who despises her.
I liked the characters. Kari was such a great character. The book was very dark.
This book reminds me of an anime, Spice and Wolf. It read like an action
If you like anime you would like this book.
Thank you to Shadow Spark Publishing and NetGalley for this eCopy.

I had a good time with this story. The ending was great. What can I say, I'm a sucker for wolves and wolven folks.
Relatively quick read, excellent option if you've been in a reading slump.
The super cute cover drew me in, but Kari's adventure kept me along for the ride.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I got pulled in right from the stair. This book had me all wrapped up in my emotions for Kari. She could not seem to get a break. The death of her parents and then being taken in almost forcibly by the people responsible. While there she has to hide what she is and what she is doing to get her revenge, but her path takes her a new way and she makes new connections. My heart was pounding the whole way. I did not see the end coming. I want the next book now.

Kari is a very different and interesting character
Lots of twists and turns and there's a lot of things you don't see coming. It's frightening and dreadful, heartbreaking and beautiful. It's an eventful read thats for sure and a journey not easily forgotten.
