Nevertheless, She was blessed is a beautifully written devotion by Carey Scott.. I love the cover and how it's all lined up. Each day starts with a bible verse, then a short devotion - then a prayer. It's perfect for moms who have a lot going on but still want to bite off some of the word. This is a perfect gift for busy women.

I read one of these devotionals a day, and they only take 2-3 minutes. Most of them send a good message and are enjoyable to read. however, there isn't anything unique or different making this devotional any different from the dozens of others I've ready over the years. I also do not feel like there was anything making this devotional stand out as being specifically for women, as the title would have you believe. Overall a quick, but not super memorable devotional.

I thoroughly enjoyed these short devotions. This would be especially helpful to anyone going through a hard time and/or dealing with difficult people. This is one that I will read again and again!

These small devotional snippets are great for those who need reminders of God in the quiet moments they can steal away. They don't go too deep but provide a means of sharing a few moments of your day reflecting on God's blessings in our lives and the Scripture. This would be a great gift devotional for someone to utilize at the office or bedside table.

This is a great we book bringing together daily Bible readings from modern translations with some thoughts from the author and prayer. It covers a whole range of topics. While there a sections which clearly will be of interest to most Christian women, I’m not entirely sure why it carries the sun title “For women”.
I particularly found the section titled ‘Grace-gifts’ and absolutely love the tpt translation of Romans12.8. If you learn nothing else from reading this book (although I’m sure you will learn loads more) it is a good lesson to find your own Grace -gifts with God’s help and then use them wisely through the opportunities God will give you. This book is a real blessing which I hope will touch others as it has me.

Sweet book with pretty flowers on each page. The style of this book makes it easy to read, and the thoughts are nice, but not 100% accurate with the meanings in the bible.

Although this is a great feel-good book, if you are looking reality, this is not the place to go. Nevertheless, She was Blessed makes it sound like you are special just because you were born, and that anything you do is accepted by God, when the bible states clearly that you have to live for God, live righteously, include him in all your actions, have faith in Him, and follow the rules of God in every moment. In order to be forgiven, you have to ask through prayer, repent, change your ways, and completely and live for God in all ways with complete faith, or your future will hold unpleasant warnings to show you are not on the right track.

This is a sweet book that is recommended for someone who has deep knowledge of the bible, but not as a guide for a new-coming Christian. Great motivational read if you need a quick pick me up, but don't take her verse translations completely to heart unless you are already truly living a christian life. Not everyone is a child of God, and although we can become children of God, it takes more than just a light-hearted book--it takes a life long commitment to God and his laws of life.

the layout & floral images are absolutely beautiful. lovely quotes verse from the bible. i like how there are prayers listed on each page. this would be such a great gift for friends, family, even for yourself. i love this book so much . the teachings are great and very descriptive and easy to follow.

The author did a wonderful job of connecting versus with everyday life to remind us of God's plan for us. Some ask us to change our perspective just a little and see our situation another way. This devotional has something for every situation we face.

The devotion is set up with a verse, how it relates to our everyday and a prayer on each page.

I am a big fan of Carey Scott's books and how meaningful yet quick each page is. Perfect for the woman who wants to connect each day with God but doesn't have a lot of extra time to do so. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful, pick me up type book that I need daily! I'm really enjoying reading this book and will pick it up often to reread!
