This is HANDS DOWN my favorite picture book I have ever seen. The drawings are adorable. The story is even cuter! Especially the part about the cantaloupe. This will definitely be recommended to my youth services friends and I would even like a copy of my own for my personal collection. Horror fans rejoice! Baby's first ghost story, in the cutest way possible.

👻Thank you Netgalley and Orca Books for the opportunity to read this before it’s release.

🎃It’s one of my fav children’s books that I’ve read this year…well in years actually.

👻The book is short and adorable. It has a really cute message too and will be so relatable especially if you have a child who gets frustrated when they can get something right on the first try.

🎃Wee Boo just keeps failing her lil ghost exam but she perseveres and eventually ends up right where she’s meant to be.

This book is so adorable! The little ghost, Wee Boo has a little problem... she's not very scary and even worse, she's really cute! She has a lot of trouble learning to scare people, but eventually she learns that maybe scaring people isn't quite the right job for her. Kids will love this funny and silly book and it hits the shelves in September, just in time to pick up a copy before Halloween! I would recommend this book to parents and teachers of children in the age 4-10 range. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book!

This was a five star read for my five year old! She loves how cute wee boo is and that she chose a different path for her life!
We had to read it three times in a row before I had to tell her it was time for a break!

Fantastic book and one we will definitely be revisiting often!

A wonderful book that is not only quotable, but has a great lesson too. Not every ghost is the same. Wee boo found that her path was different then the other ghosts and decided to forge her own path. Love this book

We absolutely loved reading this book about Wee Boo the ghost! This would be a perfect book to read during October to younger children. The graphics were cute and the main character, Boo, was adorable. I always love a book where the main character is trying to find their place and eventually find where they feel they belong. This was definitely feel good book for children, with a happy ending.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Our family adores Halloween books and has quite the collection, we will definitely be adding this!

I loved the illustrations, I loved the story, the only thing I wish was different was the font. I feel like a more whimsical font would have been a better choice for the story!

I wasn't sure how this book would end but I knew it would be cute, just like Wee Boo. It actually made my heart melt a little. Such a cute idea for a common occurrence in many children's lives. Definitely recommend!

This book was so cute and a fun read! We love a good holiday themed book in our house, especially at Halloween time. I cannot wait to buy this and share it with my daughter. It actually made me laugh out loud towards the end. I also think it could be a useful resource for a small child who is afraid of ghosts. My daughter is afraid of the dark and spooky things, so I'm looking forward to using this as a tool to help her see a silly side of spooky things.

In addition to the story, I can't forget to comment on the artwork. It was beautiful, fun, very cute, and did a great job bringing the story to life.

A Wee Boo was a delightful story of a little ghost who cannot scare anyone. While she wants to bre able to scare someone, she is just too small and cute to do so. When assigned to a family to scare, the little details were very sweet. Trying to scare people by blowing wind chimes, write a scary message of “buy milk” on the chalk board, and stare down a black cat were all just the perfect amount of humor. The fact that Wee Boo is able to accomplish her goal by befriending a baby and becoming an imaginary friend was a wonderful twist.

Saw this book, and thought I would have to read it, it looked so cute. The story is of a little ghost who is trying to get its scaring license, and no matter how hard he tries, he can’t manage to scare anyone. And he has already failed the test twice.

The problem is he is too cute to be scary.

And the solution? He becomes an imaginary friend, instead of a scary thost. And that works out much better for him.

Cute pictures, cute story. Hopefully it lets kids know they can be whomever they want to be, and they can succeed by not necessarily following the path they think they aught to.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

A cute book for children about Boo, the cute ghost! The problem with being a cute ghost is that Boo can't scare anyone. And she needs to scare someone to get her ghost license! However, Boo learns that its better to be yourself.

A Wee Boo is an adorable book about a small little ghost who has a hard time being scary enough. After failing the haunting licensing test multiple times, they give Boo one more chance. The ending of this book was definitely unexpected and gave me a laugh This book is is the perfect read for anyone wanting to get that Fall feeling.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Orca Book Publishers for the chance to review this book.

Oh my goodness! A Wee Boo is the cutest children's book I've read in a long time.

Wee Boo is a teeny tiny ghost who is trying very hard to earn her haunting credentials, but in order to do so she needs to actually scare someone. And that's extremely hard for a ghost as small and cute as Wee Boo. She tries very hard and gives it all she's got, but when all is said and done, Wee Boo realizes that scaring people might not be her thing. She finally finds her true calling when she realizes she'd rather be an imaginary friend than a scary ghost.

I really like this book and especially love the message that it's okay to be yourself and find your own way. I think this sweet and amusing book will be adored by 4 to 7-year-olds.

A big thank you NetGalley and Orca Book Publishers for the advance review copy.

Blog review to come on release day.

This is a cute story about a little ghost who is trying to get her license but finding it difficult
to scare people because of how tiny and adorable she is. I enjoyed the ending when she became an imaginary friend after making a baby laugh instead of fright, this was super cute with great illustrations!

Boo is the cutest little ghost but that makes things hard for Boo because ghosts aren't supposed to be cute. They're supposed to be scary! Boo wants to get her haunting license but she keeps failing the test. Maybe she isn't meant to be a proper ghost. But if not, what should she be?

This story was really cute and funny! I love that Boo finally realizes at the end of the story that maybe she's not meant to be a proper haunting ghost but instead, a great imaginary friend. It was so sweet at the end!
