I really like the characters and the story. They were all really well rounded and developed. There is a lot of diversity throughout this book. The main character is Hispanic and one of the side characters has tourettes. But, nether of these felt like basic stereotypes or things that were just added to check of the box to say a book has diversity but actually well formed in a way that adds to the book. There is also some LGBTQ representation.
I really enjoyed listening to this book. My biggest thing about it was the pacing. It felt incredibly slow paced for 80% of the book and then the last 20% was very fast.
Besides that I would recommend this for a nice summer read.

Eliza presents to the world as someone who really has it all together. Meanwhile, inside she’s twisted in knots, desperately struggling. Did I mention Eliza has made a career as a therapist? Obviously no one is exempt from life's many troubles.

Meanwhile she has a huge following online, social media being her primary outlet. What she really wants is that good old-fashioned marriage, kids and a white picket fence!

And Eliza is convinced it’s all going to happen until one disastrous date brings her fragile world crashing down.

And then there is Beck. A techie specializing in cybersecurity, but living his life completely offline. He works in the office next to Eliza and while they tended to ignore one another in the past, that’s about to change in a big way when Beck introduces Eliza to another world - offline.

Roni Loren once again brings us two real characters with real life issues. Mental health is front and center in all her books and always addresses the topics in a sensitive, but matter of fact kind of way. This is the third book in the Say Everything series, (though it can easily be read as a stand-alone.) And it has quickly become one of my favorite rom-com series!

As with all of Roni Loren’s books, the chemistry between our characters sizzles! Oh yes there is heat!🔥🔥

The audio is the truly the best way to experience this entire series! As always, the narrators did a fabulous job bringing the characters to life. Already looking forward to Roni Loren’s next release!

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media 🎧.

Roni Loren just knows how to do it every time. This one is a friends to lovers romance between Beckham and Eliza. These two work next door to one another and wind up running into each other on Christmas Day. As they are both all alone for the holiday, they wind up spending the day together, beginning a solid friendship. Friendship soon leads to more as time passes. Both Beck and Eliza have things to work through. Beckham has a secret past he doesn't like to talk about...ever. Eliza is trying to find her way through a troubled dating scene and the idea that Beck has with going analog and leaving social media behind her. Neither wants the same thing for their romantic futures and they must decide how to navigate those differences. The banter is outstanding and I loved the way their friendship builds throughout the book. The chemistry is super hot and both characters just so likable. I did not want the book to end as it was so much fun hanging out with these two. While this is the third book in the series, it definitely reads great on its own. I read this in both ebook and audio and both were fantastic. The narrator for audio does a wonderful job and the book never really lagged. I will forever read anything Roni Loren writes and recommend this to anyone looking for a good rom com.

Eliza's career as a therapist is on the line when a date gone wrong goes viral and cancellations abound. With the help of her friends, Eliza takes control of her narrative and begins to write a autobiographical quit dating book. She agrees to take a social media hiatus in exchange for Beck's tutorials of how to live "off the grid".
Often times, I don't prefer to read sexier novels because the character and relationship development can suffer as the heat level increases. I find that with Roni, she pays equal attention to both and I'm wrapped up in the love story that feels more realistic and not just about physicality. I want to know that the chemistry has a strong foundation rooted in why the characters fall for each other. Eliza and Beck's connection is swoony.
I read this as an e-book and listen. I would recommend either as Desiree Ketchum does a great performance.
Thank you to Sourcebooks and Netgalley for the advanced copy and Dreamscape Media for the alc. All thoughts in this review are my own.
*A fellow reviewer said this was less steamy than the previous two, but I didn't find that to be true. It's spray bottle spicy.*

This was a friends to lover trope. I thought it was pretty good. It wasn’t too spicy and I like that in a book, This was a good solid read

It was a good cute story, and I did the audiobook and loved the narrator. However, I didn't love it as much as her previous books, its just a cute romance with the cliche which I am a bit tired of: I have issues and therefore can't be in a relationship. On the positive side both characters were quite nuanced and had some cool evolutions.

4 stars!

I just love Roni Loren’s writing. This series has been so good and I think I liked this one the best. It had a unique little twist and I loved it. And I really enjoy how she brings real life situations into her stories, even if they are a harder subject. She always does such a great job!

Oh Roni, you have 100% of my heart. Your books always speak to me on a deep level, while making me guffaw (startling other passengers on the plane, my husband asleep next to me, or well, you get the idea).

This is the third in the Say Everything series, and while they work perfectly well as stand-alone books, why wouldn't you go back and read the first two...they're magical.

Eliza Catalano has to appear perfect and put together at all times. She's a therapist, she's got to at least look like she has all the answers...doesn't she? The truth is, she still struggling with the grief of losing her parents. Determined to 'get back out there' and not spend another holiday crying under a blanket, she goes on a date with someone she met on a dating app, which turns out to be the worst date ever...and to make matters worse, he films her and posts it online.

Eliza turns to her techy neighbor at the coworking space where her office is located, to see if he knows how she can get the video down. Not only does he help her with the video, but he challenges her to get off the apps and try going analog for a while.

Eliza and her sexy work neighbor, Beck, start spending more time together, but is their budding relationship standing in the way of Eliza finding her true match?

Oh I loved both of these characters so, so much. They were flawed in the most beautiful and relatable ways, and watching them both grow over the course of the story was pure magic.

I listened to this one on audiobook, and it was SO great. It's narrated by Desiree Ketchum, who also did the first two books. It's just over 10 hours long, and I devoured it!

I read the first two books in this series in like 4 days and was so excited for the ALC of book 3!

This one follows Eliza, therapist friend from the second book. She's alone on Christmas and ends up spending the day with Beck, another person who has an office at WorkAround. They strike up an odd but heart-warming friendship, and when she ends up on a terrible date, complete with viral video that could ruin her career, she goes to Beck for help. Beck ends up challenging Eliza to get off social media completely and he will help her survive the "real world". Well, their friendship evolves into friends with benefits, and, as expected feelings arise.

Sweet, sweet Beck is dealing with his own baggage: religious trauma, family estrangement, and a broken previous relationship. He's convinced he is the exact opposite of who Eliza wants, and Eliza is doubting of she even knows what it is she truly wants versus what she *thinks* she wants. Are these two able to get past their struggles to see the truth and beauty right in front of them?

Like the other two books in this series, there is sizzling chemistry, sweet friendships, humor, some heavy but realistic topics, and the belief that you are worthy of love, no matter what your story! I will say that this was my least favorite of the three, but I still enjoyed it a lot!

CW: talk of mental health, anxiety/panic attacks, death of parents (past, drunk driving related), grief, alcohol addiction (past), escaping a religious cult, revenge porn/release of sex tape (past), suicidal thoughts, main character is intentionally over-served alcohol and is recorded in a drunken viral video

Hot, steamy, and emotional! This is my first Roni Loren book and I can confidently say it will not be my last. This book is about two opposites who make an unlikely friendship that seems to lead to more.

This book has romance, past trauma, and funny moments all rolled into one. I really enjoyed this book and did not want to put it down. An influencer goes analog after a crazy online experience and during that time she finds a friends she has great chemistry with. The entire book you know there is something going on behind the scenes with Beck and Eliza doesn't want to pry. I love to see their dynamic and the struggle that they go through balancing the fine line of being friends and more. The tension is great which makes for a great build up for the steamy scenes. I was not anticipating the spice that those chapters would have.

The pacing is great and the character development is the cherry on top. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone wanting a witty, sweet contemporary romance book who likes plot with their spice. Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this story.

Eliza is trying to find mister right, she has been, for years. When a video of her on "the worst date ever" goes viral, it's time to rethink what she has been doing for all these years.
Enter Beck. He lives his life off the grid. As a computer hacker, he can see all the ways social media leaves you vulnerable and she understands why his idea of taking a social media break could be just what she needs. She wants to meet people organically and not by swiping.
Beck is the perfect friend, even if she wants to jump him as soon as she set eyes on him. He isn't interested in anything long term so there is definitely no way that she will have to worry about him. Or will she? When he proposes a FWB situation while she tries to find "the one" will she crash and burn or will they be able to stay friends?
Beck has some serious baggage that we learn about along the way, and being a therapist, Eliza can see that, but as a friend she knows if he wanted help, he would ask. She can't pry into his life, he will tell her things on his own time. Unfortunately, some wounds are too deep to heal quickly.
I loved Eliza and Beck's friendship and the way they fit together effortlessly. I felt so much when she said that she pretended on every other date but could just be the real her with Beck. It's nice to have people around you that you don't have to perform for. This book was a great addition to this series, just a bit emotional, but filled with a lot of heart. The narration was fantastic and I could really feel the emotion as the story unfolded.
Thanks to Netgalley, Roni Loren and Dreamscape for an early audio review copy.

i was happy to see this trilogy round out in the end and the epilogue really made my day, but whereas the first 2 books in the series felt fully conceptualized, the last book fell through a bit.

i wish beck’s character and history had been explored more rather than bits and pieces dropped until the very last chapter to reveal the depths of his past. that hadn’t been the case for jasper and hill for the first two books, so when it came to the last one, i would have liked that same amount of care and detail to have been spent on him.

eliza, being a therapist and knowing that she was crossing a boundary with writing a book about her experience by including someone who explicitly conveyed they didn’t want to be featured in it, felt just as lacking when it came to character development. it would have been nice to know more of her family, the loss, and the lingering impact without it being randomly placed in the beginning and towards the conflict resolution.

even so, i enjoyed the narrative and the epilogue really made the story worth it for me.

The third book in the Say Everything series by Roni Loren is an absolute home run (although all three books were amazing).

Eli, a therapist in her 30s works in the the office beside Beck, a “hacker” in his 20s and the story just takes off from there. I’m not sure what I loved more, the pet adoption or the epilogue. Seriously though that was a great epilogue.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media. for the advanced audiobook. All opinions in this review are my own. Easy 5 stars

This one was just fun wrapped up in movie references and add in some steam from a friends with benefits. Eliza is a therapist and after her worst first date ends up as viral video fodder she turns to Beck for help. He was there at her rescue after the date when she came back to the office too drunk to get home safely and he takes over with his geekiness and cyber security. When he puts her on an social media diet things start to get real. This is the start of a really beautiful friendship. Too bad Beck is the product of a questionable childhood and he is not sharing those details and Eliza is using her experiences for a book. Will they be able to stay friends with benefits or will this evolve into more? Oh, this one was so good and I had it in audio and could not put it down!

*Sigh* I just love these books so much! This series is so beautifully written. (Although, each book can be read as a stand alone) Loren creates these three dimensional characters that feel so vivid. I think her ability to convey these deep and realistic emotions really breathes life into these characters. When I read her scenes I feel like I'm there, holding my breath to see what will happen next. It's these little actions her characters do, the way a backpack is readjusted, a sharp intake of breath at the right moment, a “patient look” it just gives them life.

I really enjoyed some of the themes of this story also. Does a single woman in her 30’s stop to ask herself if she’s already happy? It’s such a great question I feel you can apply to almost anyone. In the race to get things done, try to achieve xyz, do we ever stop to ask ourselves if we're already happy? I love that.

Beck is one hell of a lead guy. He’s witty, sharp, super sexy and has some secrets about his past we are DYING to get the dirt on! Eliza is straight to the point, knows how to articulate herself and can't catch a break in the online dating world. I really enjoyed watching their relationship formulate and grow. They are different in a lot of ways and there is a sizable age gap, but they compliment each other so well. If I had to pick five words to describe this book I would say: Deep, Sexy, Funny, Heartwarming and Smart.

5*
Highly recommended!

I hope if there is a fourth book in this series it’s centered around Jess because her story would be interesting for sure!

Audio Book Review: 5/5 Fantastic! Desiree Ketchum narrated the first two in this series and I was so excited to see her name again!

Roni Loren did it again. I was drawn into the story and the characters right away, their chemistry was palpable and I just LOVE friends to lovers in an almost unhealthy way. Both characters had flaws and their own ghosts but they were really mature and talked it all out so it was quite refreshing. The ending felt slightly rushed but that could have been just me wanting more more more!!! It was a fun, sexy read and I cannot wait for her next book whatever that is.

Big fan!! Beckham and Eliza were a dream duo. Their will they or won’t they relationship leaves us rooting for them from the get go. The book had a unique setup, giving a twist to the FWB trope, and it was a fun ride from start to finish. The narrator was great too, and was the perfect complement to the book. Highly recommend!!

In this third book of the Say Everything series, Loren brings us Eliza's story. Alone on Christmas, therapist Eliza decides to get some work done at her office, but when she gets there, she discovers that the typically unsocial programmer who works in the office next door appears to be spending Christmas alone as well. A spontaneous invitation to help her pick out a dog at an animal shelter leads to a blossoming friendship and two pets heading to their brand new homes.

Eliza and Beck seem so different. Not only do they have an age gap and drastically different styles of what they consider to be appropriate office attire, but they have very different lifestyles as well. While Eliza heavily relies on social media as part of her business brand, white hat hacker Beck prefers to stay as off-grid as possible. Eliza is looking for love and marriage, but Beck prefers to keep things more no-strings-attached.

When an online date goes awry for Eliza, she decides to try meeting guys the old-fashioned way and to slow down getting physical in relationships. Beck offers friends-with-benefits services for her until she finds a person she wants to seriously date. Dear romance readers, we know what happens when friends play into attraction without trying to develop feelings. And even though it can be heart-wrenching, don't you also love that dynamic?

I adored this one. Both have their own issues heading into this relationship (or non-relationship), and Loren navigates their differences and secrets seamlessly for the reader through the use of dual perspectives. I loved watching their friendship develop and watching them fall in love. The major moment of conflict is believable, and at that point of conflict, I felt for both main characters.

Other favorites from the book: Beck's cat, the no-phone party, Eliza's friendship with Hollyn and Andi, the steam

This one is open door.

While it is not necessary to read the first two books of the series to enjoy and appreciate this one, reading Yes & I Love You and What If You & Me first will give you background on Hollyn, Andi, Eliza, and their friendship.

I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed Desiree Ketchum's narration.

Content warnings: religious fundamentalism, alcoholism, grief, death of parents (past), controlling family, estrangement from family, public exposure / exploitation, divorce, depression, self-harm

I received an ALC from Dreamscape Media via NetGalley. All review opinions are my own.

Cute story, good narration, and I absolutely loved the quips back and forth between Eliza and Beck. They were a great couple. But the themes of the audiobook just overtook that for me. The hating on marriage and alternatives to it grated on me. Why oh why can we not just have a audiobook where marriage is good, healthy, loving. I’d give that book 5 stars. But all of these stories where the characters don’t believe in marriage or hate it or run from it, ugh. It used to be that I felt like audiobook harped on infidelity and unhappy marriages, but now we have moved passed that trend and on to just not bothering with marriage at all. I’m pretty over it. But then add to it the anti-religion themes and I actually had to skip over parts of conversations because I was getting so irked. The thing is, if the author would have informed us as readers that she was in fact talking about an actual cult, I probably wouldn’t have gotten so irritated. But instead she just talked about strict religion—you know the kind that makes you hate marriage because of its ideas *enter eye roll here*—so I was annoyed with about a fourth of the book. But then come to find out, we’re actually talking about an actual cult not just strict fundamentalist religion, oooohhhh, okay, so I don’t have to be nearly as annoyed. Until Eliza makes the stupid comment about religion being just a comfort to people. Gah with these themes and statements. Thanks but no thanks. If all of that could have been left out, we would have a had a cute story with a solid audiobook and pretty good narration.

This book gave me a lot to think about. From the idea of digital detox to living life for the sake of other people to maybe not wanting what society says you should want. Take all of that, and then wrap it up in boatloads of spiciness - phew! How a book can be both thought provoking and ridiculously hot is beyond me. And the narration was spot on - it allowed me to more deeply empathize with Eliza and Beckham.

I received a copy of this audiobook from the publisher through NetGalley.
