I cannot say enough good things about For You & No One Else or the other books in this series. These are my favorite kinds of love stories because they are emotionally-raw, have realistic mental-health/therapy-positive portrayals, and the connections between the characters are extremely well-written. I immediately fell in love with Beck and Eliza’s dynamic, and I couldn’t get enough. I also could completely relate to Eliza’s frustration with the dating app world (such a love-hate dynamic), and I found the push to connect “off grid” to be an important one in today’s overly connected society. That said, I wouldn’t be with my boyfriend if I hadn’t been on dating apps so… Overall, there were some cheesy moments, but I just loved this audiobook so much. My one minor critique is that I might have preferred a male narrator for Beck.

Eliza is a therapist looking for love before her biological clock has ticked. Beckham is a younger computer hacker/video game maker that wants nothing to do with the thought of marriage and love. The two work in offices close to each other but never communicated with one another until Christmas morning Eliza randomly asked if Beckham would buy a puppy with her. So their beautiful story begins full of funny banter, angst, and steam. So many good truths are realized toward the end of the story as well.

I absolutely adored this story! I hated when I had to pause it for any moment because this story had me hooked. This was my first story from Roni Loren but I can promise it will not be my last! Highly recommend this one to friends.
Desiree Ketchum did an AMAZING job narrating this story. It seemed like there were multiple narrators because she was able to pull off so many voices.

Special thanks to netgalley and Dreamscape media for providing this audio arc in return for an honest opinion.

I didn’t realize this was part of a series, but it works as a stand-alone and isn’t necessary to read the other books first. Overall, I thought this one was a cute read and I enjoyed seeing the characters discover themselves. However, I felt like Becks character was more interesting in his backstory than Eliza. I found her a little annoying and wishy washy. I just felt like the entire story itself was a little basic, and the “twists” to the story just happened randomly but didn’t quite fit in. I thought it was still enjoyable and a nice quick read.

I love discovering new authors that is your best friend from another life.

I cannot wait to read the first two of the series. The other characters are mentioned, but I don’t think you missed anything by starting here.

Great romcom. Heart squeezing moments, laugh out loud moments & sexy time moments so be prepared if you are listening with out buds.

Excellent Narrator. If you need a light hearted read choose this!

This wasn't a bad read. It's my least favorite of the series though.

A huge thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for my advanced audio copy of For You and No One Else.

What I Enjoyed -

✨ The Audio- For You and No One Else is narrated by Desiree Ketchum. She did a phenomenal job. She has narrated the previous Say Everything books. If this series continues they should definitely stick with Desiree. I'm not sure if this is a trilogy or if the series will continue.

✨ The Friend Group- I loved Andi, Eliza and Poppy's friendship.

✨ The Writing- So easy to follow. I was able to multitask and enjoy the story while doing so.

✨ The End- I appreciated the epilogue.

Why This Book Lost Stars-

✨ The Romance- I wasn't really invested until close to the end of the book. I also didn't find this story or it's main characters as exciting as the previous two.

Overall- Recommend. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Thank you Net Galley for an audio ARC of For You and No One Else by Roni Loren. This contemporary friends to lovers romance was exceptional. Eli and Beck were absolutely breathtaking and I enjoyed every minute of their story!

How is this my first Roni Loren??? Immediately ordering the first two in the Say Everything series. Eliza and Becks relationship is actually very similar to experiences or may still be having. My other half and I have some of the same thoughts as these two and it was refreshing to read in a romance. Throw in Becks back story and this one I devoured. I’m excited to go back and read the other books in the series I’ve chatted with others already and know they have been loved by so many. Roni writes reality and I’m here for it!

I absolutely devoured this book in a day.

What made me love the book, even more, is that it was based in my own state, Louisiana. Specifically, it was based in New Orleans, arguably the heart of the south. I loved seeing different parts of southern culture represented in books, especially when they're accurate. The foods Beckham and Eliza were eating were things I eat in my daily life. And if you've read this and wondered what they were saying about Mardi Gras was true

I really liked Beckham, a lot. He was a really good friend and even better lover to Eliza. I loved how well they complemented one another. And their banter was so good, the casual teasing to flirting ratio was really balanced. And his dirty talk? That man was so self-assured and I loved every second of it. He knew what he could and could not do and didn't need excuses or anything to fill the silence or awkwardness.

Another aspect I loved about this book was the important and heavy topics. Beckham has severe religious trauma and Eliza is a therapist that her own battles with anxiety. I loved how real Roni made these topics, they were believable and very well written. Though, I wish there was more about Beckham's past because I felt like it was mentioned and wrapped up a little too fast.

With Eliza being a therapist, you would think that she would have been more self-aware of how much she herself needed some professional help. She lost both of her parents just a few years prior and struggling with being alone on the holidays, you would think she would take the advice she gives to her patients and get herself help.

I felt like Eliza's character was a little too self-sabotaging for my liking. I loved her analog action to getting off social media and enjoying her life as it was, but I didn't like the book-writing aspect. She knew what was going to happen with that, and even admitted it to herself. But she was still shocked when it blew up in her face? Come on, sis, we're better than that.

Can I talk about how much I loved Backham again? Like that's a new book boyfriend added to my list. He was SO good to her, even if he was hiding his entire past from her. Which was more than understandable because religious trauma is not something easy to talk about, much like other traumas of any level.

Things To Look Forward To:
- friends to friends with benefits to lovers
- reverse age gap of 6-7 years
- good banter and even better chemistry
- instant lust/desire
- workplace romance-ish
- opposites attract

I loved how much Roni focused on mental health in this series. I cannot wait to see more like this from her and to have my preorder sit on my shelf with the other books in this series.

Thank you Dreamscape Media for providing me with an audiobook ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions. For You & No One Else releases on July 5th, 2022.

I have been hooked on this series and all the characters. I was excited about Eliza's story because she was always the one that was looking for love. As with the previous books, there is way more then. romance. Eliza and Beck are a friends-to-lovers story. Both have backstories that add to their character building.

The storyline was interesting and different, I find that Roni always has characters with unique backgrounds and storylines.

And I love it. Don't want to give anything away but I loved everything about this book, it was fun, serious and spicy.

A must-read for me

The narration was on point. The emotions and depth of the characters came out for sure. The voices made sense and sounded like I would have imagined. The supporting characters were different and distinct.

Amazing voice work

Wow. I really, really enjoyed this audiobook! It was witty and captivating, and it kept me hooked the entire time!

Read this if you like:
- friends to lovers / (sorta) workplace romance
- Friends with benefits
- Good chemistry / spice

Sadly, I think this is my least favorite of the series 😭 While it started out really strong, I really did not like the conflict and how it was handled throughout the story and then leading up to the reveal towards the end. I'm also not sure I really loved either of the characters? Ugh idk.. I liked this, but just didn't love it, which is a bummer as I REALLY enjoyed the first two books in this series! There was just SOMETHING that didn't hook me in and make me route for them.

"For You & No One Else" by Roni Loren is book 3 of 3 in her "Say Everything" romance trilogy. It's a light, easy and entertaining read/listen.

The premise: Therapist Eliza Catalano gets burned by a date-gone-wrong and her new co-working friend, Beck Carter, encourages her to do a digital detox and appreciate the benefits of the analog lifestyle.

No socials. No influencer videos. No dating apps.

Having so much time on her hands,  "Eli" quickly becomes BFFs with Beck who's considerably younger (and quite wise for his 25 years).

What I loved:

- Smart dialogue and flirty chemistry between Eli and Beck

- Modern dating dilemmas (online and analog antics)

- Beck's confidence, success and chivalry despite his past and young age

- Easy-to-follow narration by Desiree Ketchum

- You don't need to read Loren's other two books in the series as they aren't connected whatsoever

What I didn't love:

- Beck's background/past was highly unusual. The uber-bizarre curveball at the end really gave me the eye-rolls. Hence, the loss of a star.

Special thanks to Dreamscape Media for an advanced listener copy of the audiobook via the NetGalley app.
