The Thursday Murder Club is at it again. Being underestimated because of their age, the septuagenarians residing at Coopers Chase use their intelligence, persuasive skills, wit, and friendship to solve the ten-year-old murder of a young reporter.

One of my favorite series. I love all of the characters and their interactions/witty banter. Mostly a funny romp through figuring out past intertwined mysteries, but with heart at its core than raises the stakes. Will read new ones ASAP as long as the author continues to write them. Personally, I thought this one was even better than the second one - struck a good balance between the first one where we mostly teased Elizabeth's past and the second one where it was the main focus.

Three books in it doesn't seem possible but these books just keep getting better.

I'm deeply torn between braying "nyah nyah nyah I got to read this before you!" to everyone and being horribly upset that when it comes out in a few months and everyone else is sighing with pleasure and giggling and gasping I will have already read it.

I'm honestly not sure we deserve Richard Osman or the utterly adorable, cantankerous, frankly dangerous Thursday Murder Club but I will take them and hug them and squeeze them for as long as I am able.

This series is such a pleasure. Every character, from pensioners to criminals, is a charming delight. I love spending time with these characters and hope the series continues for a long time.

OMG, I ADORE this series so very much!! I enjoyed the first "Thursday Murder Club" and loved the second and this one may be the best yet!! Back with the gang at Cooper's Chase always so much fun, as they take on a cold cases with one involving a journo and money laundering scheme. We get more back story too, especially on Elizabeth. And Joyce is still my favorite member of the club. What a winning series - hopefully to be adapted?? Recommend very highly. My sincere thanks to the publisher and Net Galley for the complimentary DRC, the exchange of which did not affect my opinion or enjoyment!

This is another great mystery by Osman
Fun characters and a good and twisty murder mystery! The humor is just right as well.
I love this series and hope to see more.

Elizabeth, Joyce and friends are all back, this time with more friends and more murders to solve. This time it's a 10-yr-old cold case, a murdered journalist who was closing in on a money laundering scheme. Full of humor and edge-of-your-seat suspense, The Bullet That Missed is a wonderful third outing for the Thursday Murder Club.
