gripping, addictive and completely unpredictable. I devoured this book in just one sitting. This is unique and pulled me in quickly. Well-written and able to transport the reader.

Well-written and exciting book that feels close to reality. The author manages to infuse a thoroughly evocative atmosphere into a page-turner plot

The missing by SR Leinbeck.
Detective Richard Nolan Series Book 2.
Detective Richard Nolan can't seem to escape the memories of his past.
After the Hill family terrorized the community, leaving behind a trail of death and despair, Richard found himself searching for answers. Unfortunately, more questions would come before those answers are found. As the community starts to recover from the tragedy, Richard realizes the horror isn't over for him yet. Not only is it not over, but now it has become more personal.
Follow Richard and his team as they try to solve another case with unexpected twists and turns. Will they be able to find the missing and move forward with their lives? Will this be where the Hill's path of destruction finally ends?
A great 2nd book. Nice short read. Loved Richard Samantha Ethan Connor Jessica even the newbie Tori. I'm looking forward to book 3. 4*.

While I didn't read the first in the series this was easy to follow, it was a nice short story ....Thanks netgalley for this ARC

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle and by #NetGalley. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

I DNF as I couldn’t get into it. I felt confused, that it lacked the twist, thrills and turns I expect.

Great second story of Det Richard Nolan and his driving ambition to close the book on the notorious Hill family abductions & brutal murders. After terrorizing an area for years with mysterious abductions of young college aged women, Prof Jeremy Hill had been found out & fell to his death while bring pursued. Bodies & parts have been discovered but never identified. Det Nolan is determined to solve the mystery of the missing ladies and bring closure to families. But nothing is quite as it appears and when his loved ones are suddenly drawn into the chilling search, the ante rises dramatically and the chills and terror escalate accordingly. Great tie in of characters before and now present as well as subplot development of how characters go from good to bad. Sure to be well received.
Bring on #3 👍

The story is good but it is so straight forward. It would be even better if written with some twists and turns to keep the reader engaged. I didn't read the first book of this series. So, I missed some context.
The story in this volume is so short. It can be read in a go. And it ended with a good cliffhanger.
