An interesting world that the author has created. I could see where they were going, but the writing style threw me off quite a bit. The characters could be polished and the storyline more concise.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, Gordon Jones & Rain Hill Publishing for a copy.

This is a crazy other-worldly adventure with strange creatures and a relevant theme. Very much like a fairy tale, a fighter pilot crash lands in a world that is not his own. He uses his military training to pick himself up and face what lays before him. Although he encounters creatures that do not exist in our world, he never falters. He joins the fight of the locals and makes their battle his own, all while continually pursuing his way back home. I loved the way he accepted each strange occurrence and each incredible being without question. Determine friend or foe in an instant, and plan accordingly. All of the characters were lively and unique. I really enjoyed the author's creativity and imagination! Such a wonderful story that eventually evolves into a statement of the damage occurring to our own world. There is so much about this book to love - from the characters, the landscape, the adventures, to the correlation to our planet. It is a great read for all ages!
