Love this. They are just our queens. I know that the story itself could be strange sometimes or that the characters might not be perfect. But, I really like it as a novel. You could see different types of characters than the ones we already know. Just a good take in the marvel universe. Give it a chance.

Sadly, the worst of the Marvel Untold books so far. While the premise is interesting (Clea Strange, daughter of Ummar and niece of Dread Dormammu, recruits other magical women to fight against Ummar's attempt to conquer more of the Dark Dimension) the execution falls terribly flat. None of the characters grow or change, despite having their motivations info dumped and their backgrounds exhaustively laid out, and though the narrative insists they become ''friends'' by the end, their relationships to one another are distant at best. Leaving aside entirely the gross lumping together of all Indigenous people as 'guide' characters, and the conflation of all women with mothers, the book is just not very interesting or fun. Check out the upcoming Squirrel Girl novel instead.
