I just finished reading Natasha Moore's 'Not Betting on Forever, ' and let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster of emotions!

First, the characters? They're total gems. Moore has a knack for creating relatable characters you can't help but root for. Who wouldn't fall for their charm and wit?

The romance in this book? *Chef's kiss*! It's got all the swoon-worthy moments you could ask for, with just the right amount of tension to keep you on the edge of your seat.

However, what sets this book apart is how Moore tackles some tricky topics. From family drama to personal struggles, she doesn't shy away from the hard stuff. And let me tell you, it adds a whole new layer of depth to the story.

Now, fair warning: this book isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Some moments tug at your heartstrings, but hey, that's what makes it so darn good!

Overall, 'Not Betting on Forever' is a captivating read that'll keep you hooked from start to finish. So grab a cozy blanket and a hot cup of tea because once you start, you won't be able to put it down!

I love complicated backstories and this one was perfect for that! Sister's ex? Perfect. Grump next door neighbor you hate but can't avoid? Even better. I'll definitely be reading more of Natasha Moore in the future.

I don't think this book was.my cup of tea, it wasn't able to hold my interest. Thank you to the publisher for the opportunity to read and review!

A romcom about a woman falling in love with her ex-brother in law, who is also her new neighbour. Not sure how I felt about this one. My mind couldn't get over the family connection even though it was in the past and I struggled to feel the connection between the two characters as the story progressed. It was still a decent read however. I liked the daughter and sister smaller plotlines.

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for my eArc copy. All opinions are my own.

Okay so reading the synopsis I was excited for an older couple romance and didn’t think much about it when it said he was her sisters ex. I didn’t realize they meant ex husband. A broken relationship that tore their families apart for 20 + years and the MFC and her sister have a strained relationship. So this whole falling for her ex husband thing was just weird. It’s taboo but in a rom com and I don’t buy it realistically. I get that most romance has elements of fantasy about them, but this was just not hitting the mark for me.

As a 40 something person myself I definitely understood a lot of what was driving these characters and I loved that it showed them with all their flaws and uncertainties and hang ups. That said no 42 and 48 year old with that sort of history acts like this. Not if we’re supposed to take them seriously. The stuff with their businesses and family obligations etc. I buy… the romance part not even a little bit. The chemistry is forced and the number of times he calls her brat and she refers to him as her sisters husband (ex or otherwise) was cringe. Never letting us forget that dynamic didn’t allow for me to believe they were falling for each other.

I do think there will be many people who love this story and if you’re into second chance, semi taboo, enemies to lovers lite, romances with a town full of side characters then this may be the book for you!!

An enjoyable read. I found it a little slow in some places where it was setting the scene in detail but overall a good story line.

Hello

Apologies for the late notice, but I have decided not to review this title.

While I am certain it's obvious by now, I wanted to also clear this off NetGalley, so it's not showing as open for either of us.

I look forward to continuing to work with you in 2023 and beyond.

Laura

Thank you to NetGalley for the eARC.

This book had really good potential, but it fell flat for me. I never connected to the romance or the characters stories. Maybe I have read too many with a similair premise lately. I just don't think it is one I will remember.

A slow burn! I liked the characters, but the pacing was a little slow. I'm looking forward to seeing more from this author!

This book.. this cover.. this couple. Everything about it in general was unexpectedly good! Don’t get me wrong i had high expectations because of the cover but i also didn’t wanted to be disappointed so i was expecting the bare minimum but it exceeded my expectations and i liked it a lot. I didn’t expected the story to be this powerful and the couple to have this much chemistry! Definitely a book to recommend!

I wanted so much to love this book, but I just didn't. I felt no real connection between the characters. Not to mention there were SO many characters. There are characters who are in their 40s acting like their in their late teens or early 20s, and the immaturity level just got to me way too much. I ended up ultimately not enjoying this story - it just wasn't for me.

Even though it had some pacing issues, I really enjoyed this one. Thanks NetGalley for the early read.

Thanks for the opportunity to give an honest review. This book was enjoyable, but I didn’t resonate with the protagonist as much as k would have liked which at times left me disinterested.

This book was very slow and drawn out for me. I did not fall in love with the characters and they felt very immature to me.

This book had pacing issues. Lots of unnecessary scenes, repetitive inner monologue, and overall the story seemed to drag. I found it very hard to maintain my interest. The other thing I didn't care for was that 40 year old's sounded and behaved more like young 20 year old's. Overall, I didn't care for this book. *I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this is my voluntary and honest review

This book was everything I wanted it to be. It had me turned pages without even realizing. It was so good!

Thank you NetGalley and Entangled publishing for allowing me to read this ARC. I will say this book did end up being a cute small town romance. Okay first things first if you want me to root for this relationship don’t say that you have always thought of her as a sister but now think she is sexy 🤢. This book reminded me of “sweet magnolias” and “Hart of Dixie” in a way which I liked. I felt very lost with all the couples. I couldn’t really connect with the characters all that much I just felt like the relationship was fast but boring at times. I do believe it got more exciting the more I got into it. I definitely think I would have enjoyed this more if he hadn’t been her sisters ex husband. I liked the tension at times but the first kiss bothered me due to no build up right before the kiss. As the story progressed I did end up liking the characters more.
