I absolutely love the intention behind this book and the message it delivers. I love how it uses physical science terms to describe how girls are a force to be reckoned with.
The pictures are colourful and diverse and the extra information at the end of the book is educational and informative.
Unfortunately, despite wanting to really love this book, I found the rhyming text to be very awkward and forced. It made it really difficult for me to read.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher ,and the author for giving me a free digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I am so grateful to be raising girls in a world that has empowering books like this in it. This is a beautifully illustrated and poetically versed introduction to science principles.

My daughter loved the colorful pictures and rhyming text. I loved the representation of diversity (ethnicity and ability!) and support the female characters showed each other. I especially appreciate the author’s notes at the end to encourage further discussion and study.

This book will appeal to early elementary students and provide them with a primer in science terminology.

Thank you to the publisher and Net Galley for an advance copy in exchange for my honest review!

Can you say Female Empowerment? A definite must-read for classrooms of all ages. Not only does it talk about science and forces, but it is a love story to women. I cannot wait to get this book and I'm sad I have to wait until next year, but it will be purchased for my classroom.
