Garrett dreams of a woman, one he thinks may be his mate. He cannot see her face but he does see that she is trying to kill him!

While riding to a MC event, he meets Destiny, aka Dessie. He asks her if she would like to join him and the Grizzlies to their event. His friends automatically ask if she is his mate, he doesn't think so but doesn't want to leave her stranded.

I am just mentioning how they met but this story just BLOWS UP! The amount of detail and surprises is just amazing! The words grab you a just pull you along into the story. Anyone who has read any of this series will love the fact that many characters from past books return to help Garrett and Dessie. I also loved seeing the solidarity between the Realm, Shifters and the Seven.

You rock Rebecca Zanetti!!

I received this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my opinion.

This is a wonderful addition to the Dark Protectors series. I love how Garrett has grown.

My only complaint (about the series) is that parts seemed to be recycled from earlier books and they don’t seem so original. Like I love a good strong female character but I feel like unless you’ve had some of the same training as your counterpart (ie. Moira) than there is nothing wrong with owning up to the fact that no you can’t do the same stuff. I mean essentially you only get immortality and possible access to your mate’s power but there’s no increased anything else. Also am I the only one who found adult Janie irritating and seriously hoping that Hope doesn’t become a know it all like her mother.

Garrett finally finds his mate and his dreams come true he finds his Destiny. OMG what a story, full of action, mystery, and suspense. Another story about family and love. I loved it and really enjoyed reading it it was better than I was anticipating.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

Wonderful paranormal romance- and we even get the fun motorcycle club aspect! Garrett seems to have the weight of (saving) the world on his back and he takes his fate seriously. He’s been having nightmares about ‘his woman’ and when he meets her in person his world is rocked. After he figures out that woman is Dessie.

Dessie’s world is really rocked when she meets Garrett. She knows exactly who he is. She has been dreaming about him since she was young. But she is disappointed and hurt when he doesn’t recognize her as his mate.

Garrett’s world is rocked as well. He has been trying to find his mate and one of the things he’s dreamed about is her trying to kill him. Petite, seemingly fragile, Dessie trying to kill 6ft 6in Garret just isn’t in his mind.

We’ll see how that works out for him! No spoilers here.

Dessie is a great character. She’s spunky and loyal and just wants to enjoy the next two weeks of her life. She’s a virgin -amazing- and wants to experience all that is Garrett.

Garrett knows he will be instrumental in saving the world from an evil demon. But he is still very gentle with Dessie even when she lashes out at him. He is loyal to her as well. And he’s hot!

There are some wonderfully steamy sexy scenes that are great to read. Can’t forget that!

I’ve read a couple of the others in this series, which were also great, but I do think you could read this one as a standalone. You might want to go back and read others in the series but you’d still get a good read from this if you didn’t or couldn’t go back.

Engaging…

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in return for an honest review.

Oh oh oh, I love these books. This is Garrett’s story as the title says. Destiny has been having dreams. When she meets her dream in the local cafe, their adventure begins. Gotta love the Kyres and Kyllwood families and their friends. This author makes her characters come alive. Makes u want to read her books over and over, never boring!

Garrett’s Destiny is book 15 of the Dark Protector series by author Rebecca Zanetti. It's a full length paranormal romance, with multiple POV and a HEA for the couple.

Tropes:
✔️ insta-love
✔️ tortured hero
✔️ forced proximity

This steamy, passionate installment of the Dark Protector focuses on Garrett Kayrs, a vampire-demon hybrid who I’ve read about and watched grow from the beginning. He’s devoted to a fault but his loyalties pull him in different directions by being heir to the Realm’s throne, while also part of the circle of Seven and the Grizzly MC.

He also been looking for his mate for a long time. A fierce female who he’s dreamed about riding on the back of his motorcycle who also tries to kill him. So when he encounters Destiny Applegate, a beautiful but very, VERY breakable human, he can’t understand his attraction to her. He can’t mate her because she’s human and doesn’t fit what his dreams have showed him. Yet the compulsion to be with her is irresistible.

There are so many BIG moments in this story for Garrett and Destiny as well as the overall arc of the series that I won’t say anything else about the story itself. I can however, gush about Garrett, he’s grown up to be an amazing son, brother, friend, warrior. I loved each and every scene with him and other characters from the past series so much that it made me want to re-read the entire series!

Dessie’ character is interesting. She’s shrouded in a lot of mystery, but her goodness shines through regardless making her a wonderful match for Garrett. I did feel like there were some loose ends that needed tying at the end though.

The Dark Protectors series is happy place for me. Thrills, smiles and swoons are guaranteed and Garrett’s Destiny is no exception. I loved going to this world and getting an update on what everyone is doing, from the shifters, to the dragons, to the demons and even the Kurjans.

Rebecca keeps introducing new characters who I hope will have their own books in the future, but for now the overall arc regarding Ulric seems to be coming to a close and I CAN. NOT. WAIT. To see what happens next. I truly appreciate how Rebecca keeps adding interesting and original stories to this amazing series.

I've been waiting for this book after reading ALL the Realm books.
Zanetti has done it again! It's everything I hoped.

The ongoing story arcs are included and developed nicely, we got to see our favourite characters from previous books and Dessie is everything I hoped she'd be for Garrett.

Definitely one of my favourites in the whole series.

My only gripe was an editing oversight in the preprint: Dessie gets new clothes the first time she goes to Realm HQ, then the next two times she's there, she's borrowing things to wear as she apparently doesn't have any of her own! Such a simple thing to fix that wouldn't affect the story in anyway. I hope it gets picked up before it's printed.

The cliff hanger ending means now I've gotta wait for the next book again!

Garrett's book is finally out! Garrett has been searching for his mate for what feels like forever when she finally stumbles into a diner where Garrett is eating lunch with Sam and his fellow Grizzlies. Destiny Applegate believes she only has weeks to live and so she's packing as much adventure as she can into her last couple of weeks. Turns out she's also been dreaming about Garrett for years and recognizes him right away. The fact that Destiny recognizes him leads Garrett to question if he can trust her. I feel like this dynamic went on for a bit too long, he keeps saying he can tell when she's lying but then he doesn't believe her.
Otherwise it was a great story, I especially loved the return of the 7 and catching up with Logan and Mercy who are my two favourite characters.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review, thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Books.

Great story and one several have been waiting for! This is the 15th installment in this series and Rebecca Zanetti never ceases to amaze me with her plotlines, her twists and turns and all of the steam in her books! This was a perfect addition to the series and I look forward to the next one!

Ms. Zanetti threw a touchdown and scored the extra point with this book. I didn't just love this book, I laughed, cried, and was totally absorbed in this story, I have read this book twice, so far. The first time I read it, I couldn't put it down. It was like when you're visiting with old friends and you can't help but stay up way too late talking with them. Then, I waited a week, and read this book again. I appreciate where this arc of the Realm is, and where it is all leading. I love seeing who the adult Garrett is and the responsibilities that he's taken on and Dessie is a perfect foil for that. She's fiercely determined to live her days out on her terms and doesn't want Garrett's help. Honestly, Dessie's background and story surprised and I never saw it coming. I seriously cannot wait for this book to come out and to read it again. Next to the book Marked, this is probably my new favorite.

Dark protectors how I have missed you. I am normally not a paranormal genre reader, but Rebecca Zanetti can write like no other in this genre for me. Her world description is so well done and plotted that I am sucked into her little world. And what a world it is. It's been a while since I read from the Dark protector series but when I started reading it's like I never missed a beat. Yep, she's that good.

Garrett, oh where do I begin. This is one alpha male with such a sweet spot for our heroine. He's been on a mission looking for his "mate", he has constant dreams of her and he feels like he's had these dreams forever. But he's got a job to do and a lot rest on his shoulders. So much is happening. He's the protector of his family and will someday be king for the Realm as well. He is trained to kill and almost impossible to kill as he is a member of the Seven. He is a perfect hero in my eyes.

Destiny, our heroine, is out of "college" a very interesting term for where she was educated. Won't go into to much detail but it's a very important part of her story. But Destiny has been given some sad news, she has a "brain tumor" and has months to live. She has had a handful of doctors exam her and all say there is nothing they can do for her.

Destiny and Garrett's story begins with Garrett and his biker friends at a bar. Destiny walks in and needs a little bit of rescuing. And the next thing you know Garrett is determined to keep Destiny safe as there seems to be someone in pursuit of her and she is in some kind of danger. Destiny is determined to experience everything life has to offer since she has been sequestered away in school most of her life. And there is not much of life left for her anyway. So she decides to join Garrett. Plus there is something about him that she finds very fascinating and she can't help notice that he's very handsome too.

Destiny was a sweetheart and strong as well as extremely smart. But there is a mystery surrounding her life and who she really is. She is innocent but yet curious. Determined and eager to learn about life and as well as experience everything that she can. She is kind and funny too. I loved her. But there is definitely more than meets the eye with this heroine.

These two are so sexy and sweet together, with a lot of chemistry. And their relationship is well developed and evolved in a mature manner. Loved them together. They definitely got their HEA. And so loved seeing past characters. And I am defiantly looking forward to future books for some of the secondary characters as well . Hinting here but how about Hope, possibly??? I see a treasure trove of future characters books. Cannot wait.

The writing was excellent. There was nothing boring about this romance. Pacing was excellent and lots of romance, mystery and action. I felt immersed in the world of Dark Protectors and it made me miss them all.

Highly recommended.

Zowie, what a ride! This series keeps the strength - and if you've followed, we've seen Garrett grow up! Amazing reality with vampires, demons, witches, fae, and true mates - plus the ever present evil Ulric threat. Will keep you up late turning those pages until you hit the last - action and suspense all the way, along with some strong emotions. Crossing fingers we will see a "Paxton's Hope" in the future - wink wink! (PS: Can be read alone, there is plenty of context for that - but I recommend the entire series!)

Garrett Kayrs has been dreaming about his future mate for what seems like an eternity. He's taken on the weight of the world trying to protect his family and the world. He's been trained to be a deadly killer, he's nearly impenetrable thanks to being a member of the Seven and he's most likely to be the future leader of his people in the Realm. He's on high alert when a seemingly helpless human catches his attention.

Destiny Applegate is on a mission to enjoy as much of life as she can before her time is up. Her cross country journey finds her smack in the middle of a motorcycle club and to her surprise, she's finds "him". She only knows Garrett is the one who saved her life years earlier, there is an instant connection but she doesn't know why.

Garrett draws Destiny further into his life he's certain of two things, she's human and not his mate but for some odd reason he wants to take care of her. However, after their first intimate connection a couple of surprising things catch both Garrett and Destiny off guard. She's deadly, full of secrets and she's intended for Garrett's sworn enemy.

Ever since Garrett was born into the Dark Protectors series readers have known he will be special. This book reminds me of the original part of the series with action, mystery and romance. I loved the family dynamic in Garrett's family, especially the fatherly moments between him and Talen. The tease and introduction to Hunter, as well, will keep me reading on.

Garetts Destiny is the latest novel in the Dark Protectors series by Rebecca Zanetti. This is the book I have been waiting for since Garett's character was introduced years ago. It was certainly something else. The story takes place a few years after Sam's story, where we finally get to meet Garett's "dangerous" mate. The plot is very dense, considering the series is coming to a pinaccle between the wars and disputes with the realm and kurjan nation. I liked the feline nation cameo as I was able to read about a few characters I haven't seen much of. My favorite part of the novel however, was the character Destiny Applegate. The suspense and mystery surrounding her character throughout most of the book kept me hooked and excited for the next scenes. There was a little disappointment because I expected a different kind of mate for Garett, but I really grew to like Destiny by the end of the book. Zanetti made every chapter relevant to both the plot and development of other characters. The different POV's were written in smoothly and kept me involved with not only Garett and Destiny but the others, like Pax, Hope, Drake and Vero. I enjoyed seeing them coming full circle so to speak, including the interesting tidbit I saw with Hunters character. So, while this book isn't my favorite in the series, it is definitely worth being read.

So great to finally get Garett’s story. Destiny was definitely not what he was expecting, but everything he’d hoped for. She had been kept prisoner at her “college” for years and finally got her freedom only to find out she had just a month to live.
Once they met one another, they were drawn to one another. But she’s totally human, how could that be?
I wasn’t sure how this one would turn out. Would she die? Would she be cured?
The over all story also progressed nicely with Hope/Drake/Paxton triangle. Things are almost in place for the final battle, I think. Can’t wait to see the conclusion of this story.

Okay so I am now absolutely obsessed with Rebecca Zanetti and her paranormal books, because this one absolutely blew it out of the water for me! Like oh my goodness, this book had everything a girl could hope for in a paranormal book. Garrett is obviously this super intense almost broody bad boy and then you have Destiny who is just so sweet and innocent you can't help but love her. Their chemistry is so off the charts and they were an absolute blast to fall in love with! One of my favourite reads this fall!

I've enjoyed the Dark Protectors series from the very beginning but I have to say this is my favorite one so far! I've seen Garrett grow up more with each book and I feel like a proud Auntie. His mate Destiny is not what I expected from Garrett's dreams however she is so much better. A fifteen book series has the potential to get stale. This one is more fresh with each edition. There were so many twists and turns and gobs of foreshadowing. I could go on and on but I don't want to ruin a spectacular story. I need more pronto! A not to be missed series and book for paranormal romance/ suspense lovers.

If you want to read a paranormal romance with lots to action; Garrett's Destiny is the book for you. The world is in trouble. The worlds are collapsing and Ulrich is almost free. The Kurjans are stooping to new lows to get him out and please the leader of the Cyst.

Garrett dreams of his Mate. He knows almost nothing about her, but he knows she will try to kill him. Nothing will stop his search. He has to succeed in his quest. Garrett Kayr is riding with the Grizzlys, protecting Bear while he hunts for the one that will be his.

Destiny is traveling the United States searching for a doctor that will give her a different diagnosis. Destiny is not as she seems. What she remembers is not how it really was. Her story is full of twists and shocking revelations.

I am not quite sure when it happened, but I refused to put the book down. I growled at every interruption. I ignored calls. When that wasn't enough, I left the house. I went and got my oil changed. I got an hour and half of pure reading bliss. I think it is the first time that I didn't care about the wait.

Garrett's Destiny was a glorious, suspenseful story. There was some major kicking of evil. The reader got a glimpse of a betrayal that I can only imagine will make things very interesting in the next book. The romance between Garrett and Destiny was the gilded cover on a magnificent story filled with lots of shock and awe.
