I was captivated by Wait For Me right away, and I was uncertain until the very end. I ate this up in less than a day and am pleased with it. The mystery, in my opinion, was better explored than the romance, but both were still worth reading.

Thank you to Netgalley and Union Square Co for this book. This was an enjoyable read, however there were some parts at the beginning of the story that felt rushed and it felt like some of it could be planned better. I wasn’t loving Casey’s character but she was alright. overall the actual plot of the book was great I was just expecting a little more romance

Thank you, Net Galley, for the ARC in exchange for a review.

When I requested this, I was excited to read this book because of her Pretty Little Liars series. I will preface this by saying that this is definitely a Young Adult book.

It was different reading about someone hearing voices in their head, and was definitely a quick read that keeps you on your toes! It was very creepy, and kept me engaged and wondering what would happen next.

Sara Shepard drew me in. Wait for Me comes from the author of Pretty Little Liars, The Lying Game, and The Heiresses. Need I go on?

Wait for Me is a romance with a supernatural element involving past lives. Shepard writing is still excellent, though more of a slow-burn here. It works with the stronger romance element. As with all Shepard novels, there is, of course, a mystery throughout. The story intrigues throughout. Recommended to fans of romance.

✨ARC review ✨Wait For Me by Sara Shepard✨

A YA romance and mystery book. And it’s from the author of Pretty Little Liars? You’ve got my attention.

Casey is 17 and already in her second year at NYU. Her roommate, Pippa is her best friend and they work together at a pet store. She is dating Marcus, the son of a well connected business man. Casey should be happy but she feels like she’s always pretending.

She leaves the city to take a break to study and clear her head. Casey starts to have flashbacks to a life that’s not hers. She meets Jake and they instantly click. But there’s more to her own story and the story of Becky, the girl the memories came from.

Wait For Me had me intrigued from the start and kept me guessing until the end. I devoured this in less than 24 hours and am quite happy with it. I do feel the mystery was developed better than the romance but still completely worth the read.

Thanks to Netgalley and Sara Shepard for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Check this out when it releases in November!

Wait for Me by Sara Shepard was a pretty enjoyable read! I've read other books by this author in the past and was intrigued. This book had a very unique plot. with multiple timeline flashbacks. Overall it was a decently creepy mystery, perfect for YA's.

Sorry to announce but this is a limbo read for me: I didn’t love it but also I didn’t hate it ( except the ending, I truly disliked it)

Pretty Little Liars’ intelligent author Sara Shepard is back with a paranormal- reincarnation romance story !

After reading the blurb about 17 years girl’s struggle with the voices in her head that drag her to a remote beach town called Avon to meet with a mysterious boy she’s never met before and still sharing memories with him: I quickly push the request button! I was so intrigued! That was it!

Casey Rhodes: scholarship student at NYU, dating with Marcus, the most popular guy of the campus. She’s still looking for her place in the new crowd, adapting in her new circle: wealthy, privileged kids. But the voices in her head has another agenda. She has to find the sources of her identity problem, riding to Avon to discover who she’s and why the voices telling her another story!

I found the execution a little slow and the murder mystery that added to the romance equation was a little weak. The perpetrator is so easy to foresee!

Overall: I liked the plot line, characters but the slow burn execution and ending didn’t satisfy me! So I’m giving my solid three stars and getting out of here!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Union Square&Co. for sharing this digital reviewer copy with me in exchange my honest thoughts.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, from Union Square & Co- A subsidiary of Sterling Publishing and #NetGalley. Thank you for the opportunity to preview and review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

Somewhat of a departure from Sara Shepherd’s other novels, Wait for Me is unique. The main characters experience multiple timelines, mostly from memory. I found this one a bit of a slow burn. Once it got going I did enjoy it. The murderer was predictable yet it played nicely. I did enjoy the ending. I feel it was done perfectly for the characters.

I thought this was an okay read and I liked the main characters. The story is creepy and hearing voices in your head always makes for an interesting read. I think the target audience of 16-18 years old will enjoy this book and Sara Shepard's writing style.

I was able to read this for free thanks to Net Galley, although that does not affect my opinion of the actual book. I was a major fan of the Pretty Little Liars series growing up, and because of this, I got very excited when I learned I was approved to read Sara Shepard’s newest book early. Unfortunately, this book just didn’t hit the mark for me. I wasn’t a major fan of any of the characters and I couldn’t picture what was written in my head. However, I do think there will be people who will enjoy reading this story.

This was different than what I’m used to from the author. I loved the note about how she tried to write a romance but then went to a story about a past life. It was engaging and fun, I was unable to put it down once I started reading. I wanted to know who Casey really was and the whole mystery of the beginning of the book. It did take a little time for it to get interesting, but it was an enjoyable book. I think it will appeal to readers who like romance, along with anyone who just wants a unique story. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because I didn’t love the ending.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for a digital review copy.
