I’m always at a crossroads between thinking "Aww, this is so cute" while simultaneously rolling my eyes because it feels a little bit too sappy. I’m the person who pauses the TV or closes the book every time I get to a romantic scene to get my emotions in check because my heart is like 🥰😍 but my brain is like, Okay, y'all are doing too much 🙄"

Is anyone else like this?

This is how this book went for me. After a hot one-night stand in Vegas, wanderer Mari shows up at Kane's, the all-American boy next door, family’s business to complete a job with a bun in the oven. It was so cute. Almost too cute. I loved that Kane gave Mari space to make the decision that was best for her without the added pressure and stress anyone in their situation would be under. The characters were very emotionally attuned and self-aware. I did not like the hero complex that Kane had. I felt like the boy next door was enough. It made him feel too perfect to be real. Overall, the book was good and I liked both Mari and Kane.

A Little Wilder

- Small Town Romance
- Cinnamon Roll Hero
- Accidental Pregnancy
- Self Discovery
- Dual POV
- Huge Family Dynamic

One night in Vegas cost a lot more than they’d bargained for. After spending months trying to hunt down her baby’s father, Marigold is beginning to lose hope. But when his brother hires her to redesign some glamping RV’s, Kane is in for the surprise of his life. Not only is she in his small town- she’s also pregnant. And it’s his.

This story was absolutely adorable. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters and see how their story would unfold. It was a steamy, small town romance with a storyline that will make you swoon! I loved Marigolds character so much, and I just wanted to give her the biggest hug. She was incredibly lovable , and her obvious chemistry and banter with Kane was so sweet. He was also and amazing MMC, I loved hearing his POV too and getting a glimpse into his mind about what was going on, especially when he first saw Marigold again!
Overall, this book was incredible and I can definitely recommend it! I can’t wait to read the other books in the series and anything else from the author as I loved the writing!

Reading A Little Wilder was out of character for me because it is book 4 in the series and I usually hate reading books out of order. For this book it honestly did not bother me though, this book felt like a standalone and was such a cute story with great writing that I just couldn’t put it down! Kane and Mari were both sweet and seemed to match perfectly, plus I love the family atmosphere Serena Bell has created with the Wilders. I have book one now, so I am planning to go back and read the love stories of the other characters I have missed. ❤️

Side note: I love the yellow cover!

How have I missed this series by Serena Bell??? That was the question I was asking myself as I went and purchased the previous books in the series after reading this one! The Wilder family is fun and leave you wanting so much more. Kane and Mari's story is filled with well-developed characters, an interesting storyline, and some steamy tension between the two! Highly recommend and can't wait to read them all!

I've only read the first book in the series by this authors, but I'll be adding the others to my TBR list. This was a light, lovely book that would go well on the beach or after a hard, emotional book.

You don't have to know the previous books before reading this one because it is a small-town romance Through the course of the book, the main characters' relationship develops from being somewhat strangers to lovers.

Overall, it was a wonderful book to read with great writing and amazing supporting characters.

A Little Wilder is book 4 in a series, the first I have read. The cover was adorably ROM-COM-like and while there were moments in the book that followed that impression there was just too much "spice" when I was looking for more sweetness in the romance. The banter and family dynamics was a plus. If you are looking for something kind of over the top with a lot of sex talk/sexy times, then check this out!

This was so stinking cute! I love loved Kane’s character from book one, he is just so wholesome and sweet. I normally don’t like accidental baby tropes but it worked for me in this book. I loved watching Kane and Mari fall in love after a one night stand. It was truly refreshing to watch both of them give without changing everything about who they were and what they wanted. I just love everything about the wilder family. My one complaint was the pacing, it felt rushed and there were chunks of time we just skipped over but it wasn’t enough to take away from the enjoyment. Loved this!

This is becoming one of the best series on my top 10 list. This time Kane finds his HEA with a girl that he thought will be his one-night stand but becomes much more. Both Mari and Kane are very well developed and is good to see how they become first friends then lovers and later family. Although not such dramatic as the previous books this story also has its charm and will warm your heart with all the Wilders drama.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

This was a sweet short and quick read! I read this book in just a few short hours. Mari and Kane meet several months after they shared one night together in Vegas and to Kane's surprise Mari is pregnant with his baby. There was a low amount of angst in this book and lots of sweetness. It was adorable to see Kane and Mari discover and get to know each other.

Kane's siblings also make an appearance in this book and I will be going back to read the other books in this series!

I recommend this book for a short, quick and sweet summer read.

I'm a fan of the series, but this particular installment failed to resonate with me. I found it very easy to set down, which is perhaps because the tropes in this one are just less appealing to me, personally. The writing is still solid with plenty of lighthearted moments and some family fun, but it's missing the swoon factor that I found present in the other books. I'm sure there are readers who will love this, it just wasn't a good fit for me.

One night Kane acts out of character, and he can't forget her. So when she turns up at his family business he knows he wants a second chance, but will he get one?
A great read, looking forward to the rest of this series.

A Little Wilder isn't the first book in this series, but it was the first that I read and that didn't make too much of a difference. Just as a warning, this novel does contain explicit sex scenes that not everyone will be okay with.

This book had the perfect mix of attraction, sexy times, and adorable vibes. My favourite part was the lack of drama and miscommunication. It felt like real people figuring out life and falling in love, which I always prefer over the secrets and miscommunications that usually happen in romance novels.

It was the perfect length too, especially since part of the premise was that these two characters met and hooked up seven months ago. It was short and sweet; I think it took me two hours to read it.

A Little WIlder isn't going to be for everyone. I suggest avoiding it if you aren't into pregnancy tropes since the main character is pregnant. It worked for me, I loved it, but I know that a lot of people aren't into that.

If this novel sounds good to you, check it out! If not, check out the other books in this series. They all have different premises and follow different brothers from the Wilder family.

A Little Wilder is my first book by Serena Bell but I do not think it will be my last! This is book four in the Wilder Adventures series but you do not need to read the first three books in order to read A Little Wilder. This book was the perfect accidental pregnancy, small town, found family, steamy romance book. Mari and Kane's chemistry jumped off the pages. Their relationship developed so well and Kane was pretty much the perfect cinnamon roll. I think I really loved Mari's character development the most. I loved seeing her learn to trust and find the family that she never had as she discovered even more of herself.

I cannot recommend this book enough!

Personally I’m not a huge fan of secret baby trope as it touches too close to home and all that. But I was looking forward to read this title as I enjoyed the others in the series so far .
I loved the connection and the down to earth and more reliable situations and emotions. It just felt much more authentic than many other stories.
Same great written book, interesting growth of the characters and that long waited happily ever after that filled my heart.

This is a witty and very entertaining rom-com. Our characters are lovable. As I get to know them, I wish only the best for these two. I wish the road trips I went on with my husband were as fun as these two had. The story is a lot of fun and well written. I loved Kane and Mari together.

This is my first read from the author and this actually book fourth from the series. But I still can follow the story as standalone and see the characters from previous book. A Little Wilder is a fast pace and light romance feature Kane and Mari. Their 2nd chance love story is cute and enjoyable. I personally like the progress of both MC to conquer their struggles and become strong for each other.

Thank you Netgalley and Jelsba Media Group for let me read this copy. I am grateful and my thoughts are my own.

I received an electronic advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions. Thank you to Serena Bell and Author Collective 20 for giving me the opportunity to read A Little Wilder before it's release.

This book is the fourth book in the Wilder Adventure series; I have not read books 1-3 yet, but I do feel this book works as a standalone should you choose to- though there will be spoilers for books 1-3.

After the best night of their lives in Vegas, Mari and Kane find themselves with a very unexpected addition on the way. This book starts as Mari, heavily pregnant, finds herself offered a job opportunity to redesign RVs. What she isn't aware of however, is that taking this job throws her into Kane's orbit once again as the job is with his family's business.

I absolutely loved this book; Mari and Kane's interactions were brilliant and I loved the fact that Mari was not sure what she was even going to do with the baby. The family dynamics within this book were beautiful and I cannot wait to get to reading the rest of this series. Serena Bell has been on my radar since I read the Sleepover, and this book has assured me that she is a must read author for me!

I enjoyed Mari's interactions with the other Wilder women and after reading the synopsis for book 5, I know I need to schedule some time to read books 1-3 ready!

Great addition to the series! I love the Wilder brothers - well, the whole family, really! You could start the series here and read the earlier books after or read them in order. You'll be just fine.

Firstly, thanks to NetGalley & Serena Bell for this #gifted e-Advanced Reader Copy of A Little Wilder.

This story centres around Kane & Mari.

Kane has lived his life as the peace maker and has lived his whole life dealing with his wonderful, if at times infuriating siblings. He's used to being the one people forget about at times. But that’s all about to change. Because the woman he had a smoking hot one-night stand with in Vegas? The one he should have stayed far, far away from, since women like her are his kryptonite?

She’s the same woman his brother just hired to redesign his fancy new glamping RVs.

He hasn't seen her since Vegas, but the instant he lays eyes on her again, he can tell his quiet role as the boy-next-door brother is about to change.

She’s pregnant.

And it’s his...

Mari was raised on the road. The highways are her home. She's never known any different. She's unsure if she's mother material.... can Kane change her mind?

Where to start.... I read this book in one sitting over a few hours as it was just so addictive!

What I loved 😍
🧡 The complexity of Kane and his background shaped him.
🧡 Kane and Mari's interactions were just beautiful 😍
🧡 Mari's struggles were so real! I just wanted to hug her!
🧡 Kane's family - I've not read the other books but I will address I can't wait to learn more about them!

If you love cute romances with a bit of spice ✨️

Rating ~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
