I always look forward to a Catherine Bybee new read. They never disappoint. My only complaint is they entertain me so much that I read them quickly and then I'm waiting for the next latest and greatest of Catherine.
Be Your Everything is the second in The D'Angelos Series. It can be read as a stand alone.
Be Your Everything is a story of family, friends, and friends that are like family.
Chloe is part of the tight Italian D'Angelo family. The only daughter of the three siblings. Her brother's take on the roll of looking after her. Often to Chloe's dismay.
Brother Luc is marrying Brook and the bachelor/bachelorette parties are in Vegas. No matter how hard you try sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas and what a problem that can be!
After a near perfect New Year's Eve Chloe runs off to Bali for an extended trip planning to yoga, meditate and figure out her profession life while trying to avoid her personal life. Her big personal problem follows her to Bali.
At home her brothers are coming apart over what Chloe has done and who she became involved with. Without their knowledge and family involvement and feeling betrayed let's just say the brothers want to settle the matter.
I enjoyed this book more than the first in the series and I enjoyed the first very much. They keep getting better!
I received an advanced copy of “Be Your Everything” in exchange for an honest review. So happy I did!

After becoming acquainted with the D'Angelo family in the first book of this series, I couldn't wait to dive into Chloe's love story in Be Your Everything. I highly recommend reading these books in order even though each one could easily be read as a stand-alone story. I will definitely be diving into Giovanni's story next because I'm not ready to say goodbye to the D'Angelos just yet. Thanks to NetGalley, Montlake and the author for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Oh, I'm annoyed it took me so long to read this. Best friend's brother is always a good trope, but add a secret marriage into it? Always works!

I loved this book - the characters were great and the plot moved at a good pace. I wish there had been more flirtation between Dante and Chloe, more 'to lose', in a sense. It felt like we were just expected to know that they had always been in love, rather than actually showing us on the page.

The ending caught me a little off guard, but it didn't feel 'wrong'. I think it was a good use of characterisation, but again I do think it could've been a little more fleshed out. I wish we'd seen more of the dating aspect of their relationship as this was where the angst really kicked in for me, the communication and their late night chats were solid.

I'm intrigued to read other books in the series now, for sure.

This was a good read but not my favourite from this author. Just didn't flow as good for me. Definitely worth a read though.

Quickie weddings can be so fun, but when it’s combined with the brothers best friend trope then the fun jumps to a whole other level.

This was such a great, charming, fast-paced read by Ms. Bybee, a fantastic author that knows how to keep her readers hooked from start to finish. The characters were strong and engrossing and definitely kept on surprising me with everything that happens throughout this book. The close relationship between the heroine and her family is one any woman would be lucky to have.

Also, the heroine is really good for the hero. There’s so much chemistry between the pair and it makes for exciting, happy, very intense moments. Moments that made this reader smile and believe these two are meant to be, despite the quickie wedding that maybe wasn’t the best idea because the hero’s best friend (who happens to be the heroine’s brother) might not be thrilled by such an occasion. Still, all their friends and family will need to deal with what happened. Hopefully, be happy for the pair in the end.

Overall, Ms Bybee has once again delivered a fun-filled, entertaining read that will leave you smiling and wanting more of the D’Angelo family.

What an amazing story that had me captivated from the first page to the last! I couldn’t help but be swept away with these characters and their world.

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Loved the book and the series. I think you should read in order. Well worth reading. Each book is about another family member in an Italian Catholic family with a background of wine and restaurant. I loved all the story.

Catherine Bybee has been one of my faves for a long time. But, I hadn’t read anything by her in a while. When I saw this cutie pop up on NetGalley I knew I had to try for it. I jumped the gun and failed to do my due diligence. This is the second book in a series that I actually hadn’t read. Whoops! I’ll go back and read it I’m sure. But, this book was so cute! I fell in love with both of the MCs. A drunken Las Vegas Wedding. Sister’s best friend. Traveling. Pining. It’s funny & sweet. I love how the family the series centers around is always looking out for each other.

Chloe is finally ready to find true love and she finds it with the man she has always longed for, Dante. Can a mistake of a wedding in Vegas turn into a real life love story?

3. Stars
I liked our main characters and loved Chloe and Dante's maturity
I loved their interactions
i loved the banter
The book would have been fine with just the two of them working it out.
The over-protective brothers and the anger of the mothers were excessive, off-putting, and damaged the novel.
these kind of Italians behaviors is not realistic anymore (i am italian)
The near-rape and the attack by Eric was unnecessary at the end.
Nice read well done

I struggled to get into this, but I think mainly that is because of the way the dialogue was written and my personal preferences.

Overall I found Chloe's story cute, and will consider reading the other books in the series.

Ever since falling for his best friend's little sister Chloe D'Angelo in high school, Dante has done his best to stay away including moving to Italy. Every time he visits home it becomes even harder to deny his feelings. After a crazy bachelorette party for her brother's fiance, Chloe wakes up with a hangover and a ring. Apparently she'd said drunken "I do's" with the only man she'd ever wanted... and couldn't have. Afraid of the rift this would cause within their close families, Chloe flees to Bali until the marriage can be annulled. But Dante is ready to do whatever it takes to convince her this is forever... if only he can find her!
I liked reading about these two tight knit Italian families and Chloe's overprotective older brothers. Their time in Bali sounds absolutely beautiful. Catherine Bybee's sweet romances are always a fun time.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The second book in this series has the guys and the girls going to Vegas for bachelor and bachelorette parties. Arriving the only one that is late is their friend Dante who is arriving from Italy. Chole though has always had a crush on him and the first night she has decided to make her he sees her as a woman. He does and as the night progress they are alone together and they end up married. Now she thinks it is not real and that he does not really want to be with her yet he does it is not until he follows her to Bali that she is having thoughts that yes he really does love her. Yet there is still the problem of her two older brothers and that her mother and his don’t think they are married because it was not done in the church. There is much more to this story and this is truly a good read their being an Italian family just reminds me of what mine was like growing up. It a very good with really good characters.

I adore this author's writing style and always enjoy it. Be Your Everything is a sweet romance even though they struggle to make it work not because of their own lives but because of their families opinions.

Everything Bybee writes feels so authentic, heartfelt, and fresh. Be Your Everything is another example of her writing chops at their finest. This read honors a few tropes; brother’s best friend, secret crush, and secret wedding. Yet, it manages to feel original, too. It’s an easy one to recommend and should be a guilt-free buy.

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

The premise of this story sounded nice. I don’t usually read romance novels, but I occasionally partake in them. I am a big thriller and horror enthusiast and I take a break and pick this genre. This story didn’t disappoint and it was an enjoyable read. It has a too cute plot and sweet characters. A refreshing read, I want to dive into this author’s stories.

This is a delightful, contemporary romance with a hero, Dante, and heroine, Chloe, that just stole my heart. I loved so many things about this book.

✅ Off limits best friend's sister
✅ Close proximity
✅ Friends to lovers
✅ Vegas wedding
✅ Sizzling chemistry
✅ Swoon-worthy romantic gestures
✅ Lovable and over-protective Italian family

This would have been a 5 star read for me if not for the outside drama at the end of the book, Overall I enjoyed the story and being immersed back into the D'Angelo family. I'd recommend this series to contemporary romance fans.

Thank you NetGalley and Montlake (Amazon Publishing) for sending this ARC book for review consideration.

I read Be Your Everything in one sitting, I was hooked from the beginning and I couldn’t wait to see how it ended. I love a friends to lovers, forbidden love situation and this one didn’t disappoint. Throw in a large Italian family and funny friends and it was even better. The only thing that fell flat for me was the random twist at the end, it just wasn’t really needed and didn’t add anything.
