This book was everything I wanted it to be. It had me turned pages without even realizing. It was so good!

Really enjoyed this book. I’m liking this trilogy. Looking forward to Gio’s story. Enjoying the Little Italy storyline in San Diego.

Chloe D’Angelo has had a crush on her brothers best friend Dante Mancuso for years but she’s off limits not that she thinks he even notices her in that way. She’s determined to show him she’s not a little girl anymore. They are travelling to Vegas on a pre wedding weekend and as they get more inebriated it seems a good idea to try out the chapel. Chloe wakes up to an enormous hangover and a massive problem. Enjoyable addition to the D’Angelo story.

I have read a few of Catherine Bybees books, but this was definitely not my favorite. I liked the characters and storyline up until the last few chapters. The almost rape was completely unnecessary and I hate it when authors feel that any of those actions in romance books are necessary. It especially seemed odd and just thrown in at the end here when the story was winding down and we were going to have a happily ever after with the couple. I wouldn't recommend this book for the last few chapters alone.

Be Your Everything
By Catherine Bybee

I knew I was going to love Dante! He’s so much more than outer appearances.
Dante Mancuso loves Chloe D’Angelo yet has spent the last 5 years living in Italy, away from her in San Diego because he didn’t want to ruin his friendship with her or her brothers. Italian brothers are so protective. While Chloe’s brothers are like brothers to him, she does NOT feel like a sister.

Chloe has loved Dante since she was old enough to realize boys weren’t gross and had cooties. She is going to make him notice her if it’s the last thing she does at her brother’s bachelor/bachelorette weekend in Las Vegas. Dante notices, but then he’s noticed her for years. When they end up together after an evening of drinking in Vegas, one kiss near a wedding chapel leads to a spontaneous decision to wed. While they are both on board with this, they realize the family would not feel the same, so they decide to keep their marriage a secret until Dante can figure out how to annul their impulsiveness. Their mothers would want to see them married in church and Chloe’s brothers (who remember Dante’s more wild ways) wouldn’t agree to the relationship at all. After an intimate and extremely hot New Year’s Eve, Chloe falls more in love with him and needs to get away. She escapes on her planned trip to Bali, leaving a week early, to get away from Dante and their secret until he goes back to Italy. Dante realizing all that she means to him goes after her.

There is so much more than a simple friends-to-lovers story in Be Your Everything. There is the bond of family and community, the undercurrent of finding oneself within the conventional roles of a youngest child and only daughter in a tight-knit family. Some humor and wonderful, witty dialogue between the characters, and a suspenseful twist that was unexpected. And because Ms. Bybee loves to show her readers all parts of life and relationships, Dante and Chloe’s new relationship is juxtaposed next to Dante’s mother and father’s relationship in stark contrast.

In Be Your Everything, we get the impulsiveness of a Vegas wedding, the familial bonds of love and respect, the acceptance of moving on, and the beauty of finding oneself and the love within. I received an arc of this book from Net Galley, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Chloe D ‘Angelo has two overprotective brothers who interfere in all of her romantic choices. Chloe has always has feelings for her brothers best friend Dante who knows that she is off limits. When they are left on their own during a bachelorette party in Vegas everything changes. When Chloe wakes with a hangover and a ring on her finger she and Dante are shocked to find out what occurred. After finding the chapel and being told that the papers have been sent to be filed, they agree that they must keep their marriage a secret until they can figure out what they want to do. They both have feelings for each other but is that enough to stay married. Dante has to keep her brothers from finding out and convince Chloe that they are meant for each other.

Thanks to Catherine Bybee and Montlake for the book

Catherine Bybee sizzles the pages of my books with this D'Angelo series.

The first book in this series, When It Falls Apart, teases if this Dante and Chloe match up and I was anxiously waiting to read this.

First off, this family is written as the sweet, crazy, loud, boisterous Italian family you'd love to be a part of. Mari and Rose are awesome. Dante is secretly obsessed with his best friend's sister and has no clue Chloe is just as crazy for him. The all in action bringing these two together leads them down a rabbit hole of covering lies, which Chloe sucks at.

I enjoyed the writing, the chemistry, and the family of this book. I didn't love staying up until 2:30 a.m. reading it, but I couldn't put it down.

What happens on Vegas, stays in Vegas except Chloe and Dante couldn't.
Chloe's brother Luca is getting married soon and whole groom and bride's party are heading to Vegas for fun. Chloe was looking forward to relaxing and having fun until Dante showed up. She has been crushing Dante and he never gave her any looks and this trip was same until she wore one dress that could change his mind. However, nothing would happen until future sister-in-law and rest of party left Chloe at the bar and didn't bring her wallet. She ended up calling Dante to bail her out and they had so much fun drinking a lot and getting married.
Chloe and Dante decided to keep it as secret and decide to deal with it after the wedding. She couldn't face the goodbye and leaves to Bali for yoga retreat.
Dante been known as playboy among his friends including Chloe's brother and his best friend. He didn't deny them and he enjoyed until he saw Chloe in that red dress. He wanted to keep his distance but he wasn't sure if he could keep his hands to himself. Simple dare at the time turns into marriage and he wants to make it work with Chloe. He knew he loved her but she has been avoiding him and left him. Dante is determined to win her back and keep this marriage intact.
Chloe and Dante's family meddles and its hilarious and Dante is really romantic. This book had typical loud, protective Italian family, two brothers trying to protect their sister and friendship and little suspense. If you enjoy reading second chances and big families this is one. I didn't read the first one but I am curious to read the first one as well.
Thanks to Netgalley and Montlake for ARC.

This is the second book in D'Angelo series and focuses on the romance of Chloe and Dante. Dante has been living in Italy for quite some time and is home for the festivities for the wedding of Luca and Brooke. Chloe has always had an unrequited crush on Dante but he never had seemed to return her feelings or did he? During a crazy weekend in Vegas, Chloe wakes up and realizes that she married Dante! What's a girl to do? Should they get an annulment or can Dante convince Chloe to give their love a chance? This is a sweet read that will keep you engaged.

Whoa. A Vegas wedding is one way to start a book! Toss in the fact that it's a "forbidden" love and BOOM, I was hooked!

I like books where you get both perspectives and then a few more, it really rounds out the story. Chloe knows she wants to drive Dante mad, and she does just that. The running away made me silently scream "No! Don't go! He loves you!" - Yup, I got way to invested, way to fast!

Overall the story plot was good and flowed at a good pace. The couples time in Bali was everything you want on a vacation (and more). The nosy and protective brothers added colour to the story and I was really happy when everyone finally came around to the idea of their relationship. Forbidden Love always leads to both people wanting each other, usually because they are told they can't, but it was different for these two. Both had feelings for the other, but neither knew that the other felt that way.

Talking openly about divorce and separation and making it acceptable was greatly appreciated. I think there is still a stigma attached to these ideas - and I know for a fact that there is in the Catholic Church. Dante's mom was a perfect example of this.

The addition of the Eric issue had me sitting on the edge of my seat and I did not expect it to go the way it did! I know it's all fiction, but OH, MY, DAMN!

Dear Catherine Bybee, where have you been my whole life? Excuse me while I go locate and purchase all the other books this wonderful author
has written!

It’s official, I adore this series! Be Your Everything is the second installment in Catherine Bybee’s D’Angelo series and all romance novel fans NEED to put it at the top of their TBR list! I knew from the first book (When It Falls Apart) I was excited to get Chloe’s story and I have to say it was everything I had hoped for! The premise of childhood friends who get married on a whim and figure out if there could be relationship after was extremely entertaining! Catherine Bybee is a master a character development and she most certainly brought her A game with Chloe and Dante! I love when you read a book in a series and it feels like you’re catching up with old friends and that is absolutely what D’Angelo’s bring! Be Your Everything is a 5 star read that I highly recommend! As per usual, I am already looking forward to Catherine Bybee’s the next novel!

Be your everything is a book like you would hope for based on the title. Italian family that is in each other’s business. Two over protective brothers making it hard for their younger sister to date.
Chloe is no longer a child and is tired of her brothers, Luca and Gio running interference especially when it comes to their best friend Dante. Chloe has crushed on him since the beginning of her noticing boys. Dante has been part of the family for years. Growing up together Dante knows the only rule is don’t mess with their sister. In order to keep that promise he has worked away from home for years.
Now Dante is back for Lucas bachelor and bachelorette weekend in Vegas followed by the wedding the next week.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas is not the case!
Funny, interesting and typical close family love for each other. Enjoyable read.
Thank you Netgalley for complimentary copy.

Another winner from Catherine Bybee!

The second book in this series, this is Chloe and Dante's story. Both come from traditional Italian families, who love hard and where family is everything. Chloe has always been off-limits to Dante because of his loyalty to her family, until one night when all that changes. All it took was a trip to Vegas and a few, well, maybe more than a few, drinks and viola, they're married!

The hard part comes next...do they want to stay married? How do they tell their families? What about Dante's business in Italy? What about people they'd each been dating? So many questions to be resolved.

I always finish a book by this author hungry for the next in the series, and this one is no different. I can't wait for Gio's story (maybe he and Salena??)

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

The close-knit Italian family is alive and well in the emotional and romantic new book, “Be Your Everything.” Typically, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but Dante and Chloe’s happy news followed them home, where it didn’t remain a secret very long. If any couple were meant to be together it was definitely Dante and Chloe, but her overprotective brothers were ready to explode with their unexpected news. Dante stood up to them, professed his love for Chloe and promised to always keep her safe. Dante had spent many years loving Chloe from afar and he was determined to make their relationship work.

I loved Dante and Chloe’s whirlwind romantic adventures. From Las Vegas to Bali, they got to know each other both intimately and spiritually. They shared their hopes and dreams, their likes and dislikes and wondered if their new relationship status would survive the family drama that greeted them when they returned home. Coming from a large Italian family, I can relate to the required attendance at Sunday family dinners, the sanctity of marriage and the importance of attending Mass on a regular basis. I could picture my own family as I was reading about the D’Angelo’s and it warmed my heart and made me thankful that I have such wonderful memories.

I recently stumbled upon Catherine Bybee and her library of books earlier this year, not really knowing much about her or her format of writing. The first book I picked up was When It Falls Apart, book #1 of the D'Angelo family and man was I hooked! I absolutely loved the first book, so when I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of Be Your Everything, I JUMPED at the chance! I have loved everything about the D'Angelos from day one, I love the chemistry between the siblings, Luca, Gio and Chloe, and they are just so fun to read about and to follow along with. I was really excited that the second book was going to follow Chloe and her story, especially because of her mother and Dante's mother and their wishing that something might happen to bring their two children together. That was happening in the first book, and it was a great continuation to pick up not long after the first book left off and see where everyone was and what was occurring in their lives! Catherine just nails the tight family dynamics, she describes well the pros and cons of a family being so close and how sometimes it can be a blessing and at other times stifling! I love that Chloe is real too, she has her own personal struggles, questions her decisions and her life choices and everything isn't perfect. It makes it so much easier to read when you can relate to the characters. The storyline was great and I wasn't expecting some of the twists at the end, but really appreciated the turns that were taken and what happened to everyone as the book wrapped up. I also am an avid cook of Italian dishes and loved every delectable food description that I came upon while reading the D'Angelos stories! I'm excited for book three, Gio's story, and to continue on with the D'Angelos and more of Catherine's books! Thanks to finding When It Falls Apart, I've now read this series so far and the Most Likely To series as well and have enjoyed them all tremendously!

Thank you to NetGalley for sharing this ARC with me in exchange for an honest review.

Fans of Bybee will not be disappointed in the second installment of this series. Chloe and Dante's story is well written. Sometimes the book does veer off course with some events that did not need to happen and then seems like nothing happened, But, you will be happy to see these two get their HEA and get a few updates on other characters from the first book in the series.

The blurb:
With two protective older brothers and a traditional Catholic Italian mother, it’s surprising that Chloe D’Angelo can manage a date without someone in the family naysaying her romantic choice. And Dante Mancuso…oh, no. Her brother’s best friend is not a dating-app right swipe.

But when they are left unsupervised on a late night in Vegas, all of that changes. Add in a Vegas wedding chapel and a couple of “I dos” and Chloe wakes up with a ring on her finger and a hangover. Dating Dante was always a secret desire, but marriage? The rift that this news would cause in her family has the both of them keeping their nuptials to themselves as they scramble to undo their Vegas mistake.

Dante knew the rules: Chloe was off limits. Only he can’t stop once his mind starts to believe she might be his forever. Just as their attraction deepens, Chloe flees to Bali, desperate to clear her head.

All Dante has to do is keep her brothers from killing him and convince her that they are meant for each other. But first, Dante has to find her.

I have not heard of this author before, and to be honest, after reading this book I would not go out of my way to see if she had published any other works.

While the blurb was promising, it didn’t deliver for me. Some of the characters were underdeveloped, and some of the scenarios they found themselves in were not believable, but otherwise, they were fine. I found the pacing to be really slow in this book, which I think impacted my enjoyment of it, and I felt the ending came from nowhere.

This is book two in a series, but you don’t need to have read book 1 in order to understand the plot of this book.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley, which in no way influenced my review.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, from Montlake and #NetGalley. Thank you for the opportunity to preview and review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

Cute story, likable characters, you won’t want to put it down.

I was so happy to get Chloe and Dante's story. There was some foreshadowing to this match in the first book in this series. (I recommend reading the series in order so that you are familiar with all the characters.)

This book started off with a bang in Vegas and then settled in with the consequences and questions. It took me a minute to really connect to the characters and their relationship, but I loved the time they spent in Bali. That really hooked me.

This is a great addition to the D'Angelo series and a wonderful take on the secret weddings & brother's best friend trope.
