So far, 'Barbarian Mine' is my current favorite of the Ice Planet Barbarians Series. Ruby Dixon has such a way of writing these characters. Each story, while fundamentally the same, has characters that stand out as individuals every time. I really liked Harlow from the previous installments and was ready to see her story develop in this one.

Harlow and Rukh have both a brutal and tender relationship. Between the language and culture barriers, Rukh has also been alone for so much of his life and is not socialized by even Not Hoth standards that Harlow has become used to. How can they reach across these barriers when they can't even speak to one another? It's very sweet at times, sexy like all the IPB novels but what I love the most is who Rukh and Harlow found and made a family together.

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!
