This book lacked a little for me , it started strong with Quinn and cooper , but I felt it fell flat for me about half way through , I just couldn’t finish it !

This is a good book. The two main characters are Quinn and Cooper. Quinn is a college student and writer for the college paper. Cooper is a college student and football player. There is an instant attraction. Quinn is a virgin and wants to have sex with somebody. Quinn wants to help Quinn. They each have some problems but together they work them out and fall in love.

Here we have a cute and quick read that contains enemies-to-lovers, anonymous text messages and a few Star Wars quotes.

The genre is romance and new adult with tropes as enemies-to-lovers, college romance and first time.

This is the second book in the Waverly Wildcard trilogy but I haven't read the first one but still enjoyed this one so with other words you can read it as a stand alone.

If you like reading books with enemies-to-lovers that take place in college then this one could be a book for you.

3.5/5

Quinn is set on losing her virginity, but fate has other plans for her. After multiple disastrous tries, she is starting to feel like she won’t succeed, but nothing will stop her. Not even famous college football player Cooper DeLaurentis, who decided it was his mission to «save» her from making a mistake. Coop should stay focused on his goal, which is getting picked in the NFL. But somehow he keeps getting involved with Quinn, and the more it happens, the more he can’t help wishing it happens again.

This book was good don’t get me wrong. Loved the writing style, the characters were nice and funny. Loved all the references too (I’M ALWAYS HERE FOR STAR WARS REFERENCES MY FRIENDS) BUT, for me, it was too similar to The Deal so it ended up with me being disappointed in a lot of things cause I felt that it was too similar and yet it was not it... I feel like if you haven’t read anything similar it would be easy to really enjoy this one plenty, cause it was still a pretty good read.

It’s sports romance so that’s totally my vibe. I did enjoy how the relationship started. They did find each other oh so annoying and without noticing they became friends and then lovers which, to me, is the best that can happen.  I did expect a little more of the "she’s my frat bro’s sister" type of trope but honestly, the brother could have been absent from the book and the story would be the same, so I was a little disappointed in that. Why even mention him like it’s a big thing if it does nothing at all in the story, but hey it’s not the end of the world. I have to mention that the spice, tension and chemistry was very great. I did love the characters’ personalities and how they did evolve through the book. It is definitely a book to read if you enjoy college/sports romance.

Thanks to the author and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Unfortunately had to DNF. I was excited for this one, but the girl is SO annoying that I couldn’t get past 30%. I feel like this would’ve been a thousand times better if her personality was different.

Thank you to netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I overall liked the book and the story i feel like some of the character development was a little rushed. Also would have liked quinn to call her brother out on the nicknames and putting her down all the time. Sweet epilogue, love a happy ending and a glimpse of further down the track.

A funny New adult sports love story. The book is funny but it has layers upon layers and going deeper into the book more and more is revealed. We see how Cooper is not just a player but a struggling young man and that Quinn is not a naive college girl. Both Quinn and Cooper make with their antics this an interesting funny read.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

I love Quinn and Cooper. And all of Quinn's nicknames. The end surprised me a bit - with Cooper's parents. All in all I enjoyed the story.

This is a delightful story and I thought Jennifer Bonds did a wonderful job of capturing college life. I felt as though I was right there with Cooper and Quinn and I had so much fun being along for the ride.

While Cooper and Quinn attend the same college, their experiences are very different. Cooper is a star athlete on the football team and enjoys all the perks that come with that status. On the other hand, Quinn is studious, enjoys writing and isn’t into the party lifestyle. Even though Cooper and Quinn are so different from each other, they are perfect together, but they have to go through some ups and downs before everything works out.

This story is about growing up and learning to make important decisions in life that will affect the future. It is well written, I easily connected with the characters and it held my interest from beginning to end. I enjoyed all the banter between all the bhcharacters and the dialogue was spot on. Cooper and Quinn have incredible chemistry, are great together and I enjoyed all of their interactions. This is another wonderful story by Jennifer Bonds.

He's a football college star and she's a bit of a disaster according to her friends and family. The story was a bit of a slow-burn set in a college sports romance trope. Quinn and Cooper were likable characters and the way their romance developed was nice.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book received from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Catching Quinn by Jennifer Bonds is book Two in the Waverly Wildcats Series. This is the story of Quinn Mowrey and Cooper DeLaurentis. Quinn is the nerdy disaster that seems to get into so crazy situations. The latest is her trying to loose her innocents but it seems the hot college football star Cooper is doing interference in her goal. This starts their story to love. I really enjoyed this book and hope to read more from this author.

4.5 stars.

This book delivered every thing I wanted in a sports romance. The longing, the banter, the romance, the spice, every thing. I even went back to REREAD some aspects of this book for fun which is something I often have difficulty doing if it just felt average.

These characters were so much fun. Quinn's bad luck was surprisingly charming along with her motivations to just lose her virginity as if she was completing a dare. Cooper was the fun overprotective "friend" who lives by some very humorous bro-code/frat rules. The side characters also stick out and have some fun personalities that give the book a lot of it's humor.

There are similarities to the Off-Campus books specifically The Deal/The Score. Hell, Cooper and Dean share the same last name of DeLaurentis. I do think the football players do differ from the Off-Campus series, but at first it's a bit jarring.

Overall, I loved this book. It was missing -something- that would make it 5 stars, but I wasn't quite sure what that -something-was. I look forward to now getting more context by going back and reading the first book in the series for context before continuing.

A big thank you to NetGalley and the author for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is such a fun book. It made me smile and laugh. For that alone-I say thank you to the author. The story was engaging and a delight. The characters were realistic-not perfect but human. Quinn and Cooper have good chemistry. Great read by the beach or the pool. 3.5 stars

So I am a super fan of the sports romance genre and there is a special place in my heart for college sports romance. This book is a solid add to that genre. The characters were well developed with distinct personalities.

I have to say it drives me crazy when there are misspellings in idioms and this book has at least one and it drove me crazy.

I really enjoyed this one. The spice, tension, and characters were all amazing. The only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars was because some of the struggle for Quinn was a little repetitive and I hated that she felt less than because she thought she had bad luck. All of that being said though I loved the book. Quinn and Cooper were amazing, I loved how Cooper kept cock-blocking her but couldn't figure out why as the school player he'd bother interfering with her love life.

Pick this spicy gem up with your next book haul, you won't regret it.

Loved this book. I loved Quinn and her efforts to have a good time and try to solve her problem. Cooper was great and always seemed to be around to rescue her. Cooper being the star he was on campus and protecting her. I loved both books in this series and can't wait for the next book.

Lately I haven’t been big into romances, but I’ve always been a huge college sports romance ran. I am so glad I found Catching Quinn, it was the perfect book for me right now! The characters were fun and interesting, the virgin storyline could have been your typical stereotype but it was so much more and the happily ever after was worth the wait. This was a romance I didn’t want to put down and I can’t wait to see what else this series has in store for readers. I would highly recommend Catching Quinn to romance lovers, it is a great college sports romance that will give you all the feels!

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book!
