This was a cute and quick read that felt like it was a good read.
The story felt well written and the characters was felt like some people you could easily meet on the streets but also don't make me start about the animals. I love animals and especially dogs.
If you want a quick and cute read then you should try this one out.

I loved the dogs absolutely stole the show. The romance however felt forced. This book had potential but the lack of chemistry between the main characters and the rush toward a HEA really impacted on what could have been a fun engaging read.
This is a miss for me.

The Cowboy’s Sweet Redemption is one of those stories that will make you smile, maybe shake your head a little bit, and offers up several rambunctious dogs while also giving a healing touch to some folks who need that badly.
Delilah needs to find a job quickly since her funding to continue her studies hasn’t arrived yet. A little bit desperate and a whole lot determined, she’s overheard a cowboy talk about the need to train some dogs. Well, how hard could that be, considering her family connections? Perhaps harder than she expected.
Zero has returned from the military to the family ranch where everything is up in arms, emotions are running high, and it feels like a task he can’t complete on his own. His family’s been through some rough times, and maybe hiring a dog trainer who doesn’t really seem like a trainer of any kind might have been grasping at straws. But Zero’s a bit desperate right now, and Delilah does seem to have a way with not only unruly dogs but his family as well. Maybe things might be looking up… or maybe there’s a whole lot more in store for this couple than they ever expected.
I had fun with The Cowboy’s Sweet Redemption. A story that will tug on your heartstrings, a couple that fits even though they are far more different than they first realize, and a family in need of some hope, some help, some healing, and a unique type of woman to bring them all together again. Oh, and don’t forget some out-of-control herding dogs that eventually wrap just about everyone around their paws. I’ll admit that there were times when I wanted to set these two down for a stern conversation, but it all worked out in the end. I enjoyed myself here, and that’s the whole point.

What a wonderful heartwarming love story this is. Delilah gets with little deception job at Zeros ranch but what she gets there changes her and others' lives for good. I loved this story it is definitely a must-read story. It is funny, tragic, and full of fur, family drama, and full of love. I loved it!
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

Delilah is in trouble and she need to find money soonest possible as her loans for the next phase for her Studies haven’t come through. When she found out the Zero is looking for a dog trainer, she jumped at the opportunity despite that she has no no experience whatsoever. The only exposure to actual dog training is through her father who is a well known dog trainer.
It is a story of loss and moving on after that. Both Delilah and Zero have their own burden to carry. Zero need not only a dog trainer. He need someone to bring life to his family. Overall it is a sweet and delightful read for me.

Cowboy are my jam. this one was a good one that i loved all right. You had me at cowboy and will read more of this.

I like the main characters and the side characters. The plot was pretty good, though some of the conflict seemed to escalate pretty quickly. The book entertained and kept me invested till the end. This story is a sweet and clean, and I know that is some peoples jam, but I personally would have preferred a little more steam. Overall, and enjoyable story. *I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Hey folks, daddy Steve here with some doggiebook talk. This time it’s sweet romance titled The Cowboy’s Sweet Redemption by author Kacy Cross.
Yup, I’ve said it before, will say it again, I’m a sucker for romance books, just as long as there are some dogs involved. And there’s plenty of dog fun in this one, and some decent talk about personal growth, family relations, and dealings about post-military involvement life.
I quite liked it, a fun and quick read. Obviously, no dogs were harmed in this book. 😉
It’s another recommended read for dog lovers and fans of romancey stories…
Huge thanks to NetGalley who provided a free eBook advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review. This is as honest as it gets... The book is currently availble for you to buy.

A lovely, sweet filled story that I really enjoyed. Loved the characters and the story was amazing! Highly recommend!

The word sweet in this title does not steer you wrong! This is definitely a sweet small-town Texas romance. Zero recently left the Army after his brother-in-law and teammate was killed in action. Zero has spent the last year trying to hold his family together and get them all through their grief. He's been rebuilding the family ranch and is struggling to pull things together. In particular, his grandfather's four untrained dogs. Delilah is in a bind - her loans for the next phase of her PhD studies haven't come through and her bank account is dwindling. Every job she's applied for has rejected her as over-qualified. When she overhears Zero and his best friend talking about hiring a line-in dog trainer - she seizes the opportunity.
Delilah isn't unskilled when it comes to dog training - her father is a very successful dog trainer who had Delilah working by his side from a young age. He told her constantly how she wasn't doing things correctly - but she did learn. As a result - she ran as far from dog training as she could get - until now.
This is definitely sweet, a little silly, and definitely low angst - even given some of the topics it touches on. Personal loss, parental estrangement, and moving on after loss. Both Delilah and Zero have a lot of baggage to process - and I'm not sure they really do. They definitely make a start and seem to make big steps towards growth. But that being said - I would say this book qualifies more as a starting point for them - even though it does end with a HEA. There are some points you are going to have to squint at to move past - like that Zero moves Delilah into his house, where a child lives, after knowing her for about a minute. He also does ZERO research on her qualifications or background before doing so. Delilah also makes a pretty significant life change in this book - which makes sense in context - but I think the background on her love of dogs and dog training could definitely have used some more detail. I also had a hard time getting a read on her personality.
Overall - this is a sweet quick read.
I received this as an ARC via NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

A sweet and fun read. Delilah needs a job, and Zero needs a dog trainer. Sparks fly and lots of fun banter with fun loving dogs. What is not to like in this romance set in Texas? Highly recommend.

What a delight! The Cowboy's Sweet Redemption by Kacy Cross was just the perfect read to lift your spirits and warm your heart. I knew from the beginning that I would like Delilah Kersey and her plight to find a job. Not long into the story maybe around the time of meeting the dogs I knew I loved her story. That never changed.
Military vet Zero Renshaw and his family need more than a dog trainer. They need something or someone to life their spirits too. While there is sadness and adjustments to be made the story never loses hope, thanks to Delilah. I can’t think of a character that I have enjoyed getting to know more than her in 2022.
The sweet story is well written with one turning point at the end that I did not expected. Also I kept waiting for someone from Delilah’s past to show up. Well that didn’t happen either so I guess that is two surprise twists. This wonderful clean romance has no bad language or violence but does have “fight the attraction” between Mr. Grumpy and Ms. Sunshine. I loved it and bet you will too.
An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I received a complimentary copy from Entangled Publishing and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.
I love a good book with dogs I promise and woow what a read! The book follows grad student Delilah who needs a job to finish her doctorate . Things seem to not be going her way in terms of the job search but all that changes when she overhears Military vet Zero who is need of a dog trainer. What could possibly go wrong on a ranch with unruly dogs , a handsome Zero and a witty Delilah. I enjoyed the book but wanted more angst but overall it was an amazing book.
