I love books about books and this one is such fun to read. The word I want to use is "almost whimsical".
Well written with an obvious love of all things books.
I have always thought about the life of a book - especially those considered more in the "fist edition" lore. What makes a book a first edition? what makes a book something a collector wants?
This book looks at the life of the book and just how far it can travel and what it means to different people.
