Great book for beginners! I have been crocheting for a bit and this was super helpful to check in on my basics and get some more information. There are really helpful charts and terms listed out about the different yarns and weights. I think this book compiled a bunch of information that I had to find on my own when I started into one spot,
It is also super helpful because it has really easy patterns to try out meaning you get to learn how to read patterns super early on which is a huge bonus.

Super Easy Crochet for Beginners is exactly what the title states: a super easy crochet book for beginners! The actual photographs of the different crochet hooks and the different types of yarn is very practical. I also appreciate the vast number of photographs of hand positions and where to put the hook when doing certain types of stitches. If you're a visual learner like I am, this book is for you!

I love the many different patterns that the book offers and I'm excited to try and make the Windflower Shawlette for my next crochet project! Thank you NetGalley and New Shoe Press for the advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

What a fantastic book to use as an introduction to crochet.. Being a complete beginner, I didn’t really know what to expect. This book covers all the basics of crochet and walks you through progressively harder stitches and projects as you work your way through the book. Each project has very clear instructions to help guide you through, step by step. Each one also has lots of accompanying diagrams and photographs of each stage, so you know exactly what you’re aiming for. There are instructions for little practise ‘swatches’ for you to have a mini try of each new skill / technique before you go ahead and make the main make - a great idea to test things out and make mistakes without it mattering. This book will have you making actual garments you can be proud of, right from the get go. The trouble shooting and tips throughout are fantastic, and prevent any mishaps or obvious mistakes.

Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group – Quarry and Netgalley for an eARC of this book to read and review.
