I loved reading this collection of poetry. They are awakening poems but they read to me enlightenment poems. They ate beautiful and right to the point. They are also thought provoking poems. I would love, love to read more poetry from this wonderful poet

I received a free copy of the book and is voluntarily writing a review

thank you netgalley for an e-arc of this book!

i really wanted to like this poetry book, but i really just didn't do it for me.
the majority of the poems, and even just some stanzas in a few. we're
completely nonsensical and just made absolutely no sense whatsoever.
others felt extremely childish and plain, whilst others felt like random
words had been jumbled up and strung into sentences, and broken into
irregular and random stanzas.

however, there were a few extracts that i did like, for example:
A gentle word
To all who grieve,
You cannot miss
What never leaves.

overall, i would not recommend this book, but i am grateful to netgalley for giving em the opportunity to read and review eden thrives within :)

Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read and review this book!

The book was archived before I was able to download it! However, as the book is on Kindle Unlimited I did go ahead and start reading it.

I get the vibe the author was going for, but it just wasn’t for me at the moment and I didn’t finish reading it; I gave up around page 34.

I read these poems through the lens of my own spiritual, practice, rather than Zen eyes. Nonetheless they were enlightening, thought-provoking and resonant for my spiritual journey. Also made me curious about the retreat which evoked these poems.
