Lady, No More is the third book of the Naughty Ladies series. Lady Laurel Devereaux the oldest of the three sisters is the last to find a groom. Having been jilted by the man she loved, Hadley, the Viscount Grey had left her in order to marry another by his father's prearranged marriage. With so much pride Laurel has come to realize that she needs to move on and marry. Now she'll only agree to marry for friendship, security or children. Laurel has vowed to never marry for love.

Unfortunately, Hadley arrives in Brighton and vows to win Laurel back. But this time, he has his work cut out for him. He will have to earn her trust and just maybe she will love him again. With each time she sees him at an event or by chance she fights to keep him at arm's length, and at best just a friend. Laurel's problem is she never stopped loving Hadley, but will she finally admit that her heart has always been Hadley's and forgive him for seeing to his duty.

This is a quick afternoon read. The story is entertaining as we see these two try to decide whether make a life with or without each other.

Lady Laurel is in Brighton for the season to find a suitable match. Her heart however, still belongs to the one man who broke her heart and their engagement when he left her to marry another two years before. When he shows up in Brighton to win her back, she is furious, and wants nothing to do with him. Hadley proceeds to woo her with special gifts, and tender words, but although she still loves him, she can’t decide if she is able to trust him again. Her indecisiveness gets rather annoying, and nearly costs her the love of her life. But all in all, it was a charming read and sweet romance, with Hadley being a devoted suitor and lover!

A wonderfully entertaining steamy read! The characters are complex and interesting. Laural and her ex fiance Hadley meet again after he jilted her and she is not too happy to see him. Laural has not forgiven Hadley and he wants her back. Will Hadley win Laurel back? A must read to find out!

This was an entertaining read with likeable main characters. I did feel for Laurel, having been jilted by Hadley, Lord Grey. Now, two years later, while staying In Brighton, Laurel had to face Hadley again. Laurel doesn’t want anything to do with him but unfortunately she hasn’t stopped loving him. Hadley was determined to win Laurel back and I enjoyed the lengths he went to, to try to achieve his aim. There was a reason behind Hadley’s actions and also a puzzle to solve. Would this be enough to win Laurel over? I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a second chance romance. The characters have depth and were likeable even though you start off wanting to dislike Grey for the jilting of Laurel 2 years ago so he was always going to need a very good explanation. Their road to a HEA was never going to be easy as Laurel hasn't got over being jilted. They were helped by family and I loved Aunt Grace. A lovely finish to the series.
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

“The villain Grey. That bounder, that seducer, that miserable cheat.” He could see the thoughts going through her head when she saw him. But he had come to obtain redemption and he wanted it from her.

A charming second chance tale and this time with Laurel and Grey. A whirlwind romance that had ended abruptly and now two years later they meet again.

Will he be able to win her back? Sit back and enjoy, you will love it!

To Love Him Again

A wonderful well written story to finish off the last of the sisters story! Hadley madly in love still with Laurel had to try to convince her he still loved her and wanted to marry her and to explain why he had to leave and Laurel learning to trust again in the love she has for him.

Lady Laurel had once loved Viscount Hadley Grey and thought he loved her, but after ending their engagement he left. Hadley is back in Brighton after helping her sister out of a sticky situation and he wants Laurel back.

Grey jilted her and had to end their engagement even though he loved her. Now back in Brighton he wants to explain to Laurel what had happened and wants to make her his wife.

Laurel too hurt with the past would not entertain him at first but after sharing passionate kisses with him and looking forward to the poems he sent to her, slowly she was coming around. Hadley fearing he could lose her to another man decided to ask his Aunt Grace to help him.

He tried numerous things to entice her and told her how much he loved her, but in the end it was up to Laurel, could she trust him enough to give him everything which is what he demanded and once given lead to a passionate, steamy HEA.

Once upon a time, Laurel loved madcap adventures, loved music, and loved Hadley, but, no more. Not only did she have to personally bear the devastation of Hadley's sudden, inexplicable departure, but she had to endure society's whispers and censure too. Even though he's back and has fixed his attention directly upon her, Laurel is not going to make the same mistake twice.

Laurel is easy to admire--she's smart, lively, and deeply cares for her family. She deserves love and happiness, and didn't deserve to have either ripped away without an explanation. It takes a lot to begin to root for Hadley, but the writer gets us there. The text did include some casual and anachronistic language that didn't quite work for the setting, but it was easily overlooked for the fun and spice of the story. Pick this up for a funny, steamy Regency second chance love story!

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

Lady Laurel Devereaux prided herself on her sterling reputation, even as she overlooked her two younger sisters’ foibles and their ailing grandfather’s little peccadilloes. But one night she left a ballroom to play the piano alone—and a charming man joined her to play a duet that became a mad love affair. He quickly proposed and just as quickly jilted her. Now she'll marry only for friendship or security or children. Now Hadley, Viscount Grey, arrives in Brighton and vows to win Laurel back. But this time, his greatest problem is not overcoming his competition or challenging Laurel’s vow to remain a proper lady, but her decision to never love another man.
Laurel is the third Devereaux triplet to find love & this is a lovely second chance romance. The characters have depth & I really liked both Hadley & Laurel, they'd both been hurt & had lost trust in each other. I loved their road to a HEA which was strewn with obstacles the greatest being Laurel hiding behind the walls she’s built. They were aided & abetted by their relatives especially Cass & the wonderful Aunt Grace. I devoured this short delightful read in a sitting

Pursuing A Lost Love:
An interesting story of a lost love trying to be rekindled.
Once lovers Hadley and Laurel had parted ways.
We meet them again for the new season and follow them on their journey of pursing and forgiving.
A lovely story that kept my interest. Nothing very flashy but a simple beautiful love story.
There were betrayals, romantic gifts, a fun Aunt Grace, and much more to this lovely romance story.
I enjoyed the book very much.

As the eldest of triplets, Lady Laurel Devereaux always been mindful of her reputation yet loved life to the fullest. Yet when the man who swore that he would always love her proposed and then quickly jilted her, she is determined only to marry for friendship or security or children. Yet Hadley, Viscount Grey, arrives in Brighton determined to win Laurel back and realising that his biggest challenge is to make her trust him again, and convince her that theirs is true love.
This was a great read, with two great characters in Laurel and Hadley. Hadley is determined to win over Laurel and needs all the help he can get, as he struggles to convince Laurel of his true feelings. Gradually the reasons for his change in heart are revealed, but not without significant resistance from Laurel. Hadley is an honourable man, yet Laurel is quite determined, and has her own reasons despite the obvious for opposing Hadley’s pursuit. The secondary characters in this story, added depth to the story as does the background story of the two main characters. Whilst Laurel’s two sisters appear, have had their stories told in previous books and help to make this an interesting read, this is a standalone book.

Quick-ish read. Two years ago, Laurel was jilted by her fiancé who was called back home by his father to marry another. Hadley is back to win Laurel back, even though she is not so quick to forgive him. Short and sweet second chance romance.
