I didn't like this one as much as the rest of the series I found it dragged and there wasn't any jeopardy which usually spices things up. Obviously Percy is suffering badly from his war memories and he's an introvert in any case which makes him shy and he finds it difficult to explain his feelings. Araminta is a twin and was stuck in canada whilst the war with Bonaparte and the war with America stopped travel. She's much more outgoing and keen to find a loving husband. She fancies Percy but is not sure what's going on with him. Minta also can't afford to loose her reputation as she wants to help her twin, Sera make a good match. We've met Lord Blockingly, a sweet man who helps Minta and also Percy's cousin Win so I think the next book has been set up.

I was surprised when the author had Percy unable to dance because he was on Wellington's staff when I thought Wellington encouraged young officers to dance viz the Richmond Ball on the eve of Waterloo.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Tired of all the war he has seen, Percy comes home to become a marquess. Needing to marry, he allows his friend’s wives find him a wife. Minta is new to the season and is attracted to the shy Percy. Percy feels he is too damaged by the war for Minta, but she persists to get the marriage she wants. I received an ARC from NetGalley and Dragonblade Publishing for my honest review.

I absolutely loved reading, Made for the Marquess. My heart broke for Percy and what he endured. Minta truly is the perfect match for him. I can't wait until the next book which I think I've figured out who the leads will be. I can't wait to find out if I'm right.
