Whoop, whoop. Cara Reinard does it agin with The Den, a layered family drama that delivers on its intriguing premise. Paced and plotted well, with outstanding characterizations, this one really delivers. Thank you to Thomas & Mercer for gifting me a copy. It is my pleasure to write an honest review. |

4.5 Stars! This is my first title by Reinhard but I will Certainly be looking for other work she has out. The Den is a fast paced family drama thriller that keeps you on your toes until the very last page! It was very fun trying to figure how The Whodunnit narrative and even having suspicions of who it actually was didn’t ruin the fun for me. Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced e-reader copy in exchange for an honest review. |

This book was sent to me by Netgalley for review…I could not get into this storyline…others might. The author seems to have a gift for words… |

Thank you so much for allowing me to read and review your titles. I really not the opportunity! I do appreciate it and continue to review books that I get the chance to read. Thanks again! |

A family estate is to die for in a gripping novel of psychological suspense. The four Fox siblings come together when their father Stefan Fox has a heart attack. And nothing could bring them all together like a nice hefty inheritance policy which is to be divided equally. At the fathers side is his oldest daughter, Valerie; her reckless sister, Lucy; and their two strong willed brothers, Christian and Jeremy. Even the former housekeeper, Marisol, who’s been with the family for forty years, is sitting by his bed. All Valerie can hope for is a cordial reunion, despite the damages of the past. When an accident occurs, Valerie feels like this is just the beginning. And entrusting the wrong person could be the most dangerous thing she’s ever done.! She does it again! Bringing us another amazing story. THE DEN is her best yet! Immediately gripped me and pushed me to read the entire book basically in one day. The characters are interesting and well-drawn. The plot is strong and very engaging. This was an amazing and surprising thriller that I had so much fun diving into. The Den was an enjoyable and tense read from beginning to end. “I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.” Thomas & Mercer, Thank You for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC! |

This was a great read! I am not familiar with this author and I have been missing out! A big inheritance to be divided equally among four siblings. The inheritance is from the father that they can not stand! Will they put the past behind them and have a good reunion or will there be murder and mayhem? Everyone is suspect and you will not forget the twists and turns in this novel. |

I struggled with this. Pacing all over the place. I wanted more suspense to keep my interest which wavered throughout. The changes in perspectives didn't flow either. They were so choppy, almost like entirely different stories in one book. |

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, from Thomas & Mercer and #NetGalley. Thank you for the opportunity to preview and review. Opinions expressed are completely my own. A well written family drama full of intrigue and suspense. The Den had me spellbound immediately. |

I loved the premise of this book; I'm always intrigued by layered family drama, especially if it surrounds suspicious circumstances. However, the pacing at the beginning of the story really threw me off. The first chapter was one perspective with action that escalated in a cheesy and unbelievable way. The second chapter was another perspective that translated into no action and forced exposition, and the third chapter was yet another viewpoint. This inconsistency, along with a lack of momentum, lost my interest. I think this was a case where the book could have started a few chapters in to immerse the reader in the narrative, but unfortunately, by the time I reached that point, I didn't feel compelled to keep reading. |

I admit that, since I didn't totally love Cara Reinard's Sweet Water, I began reading this with medium expectations. However, I was quickly proved wrong - and ended up really enjoying The Den! In this book, Reinard does an amazing job at weaving together multiple characters and perspectives - and also at creating a layered tale of revenge, family, and murder. And the last half of the book is perfect - I couldn't put it down! Thank you so much to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me such a great reading experience! |

Really really enjoyed this story. Will recommend to others. I think that others will really enjoy this story. |

Good book! Wow! What a twisted story! This book had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, and so many twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my kindle! I will recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! It wasn't one of my top favorites but it was still really good! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me! |

This was such a good read that I was able to finish it in a couple of hours, it really hits home with an inheritance fight. It's a great set up as it is something that does happen in real life. This was a great suspenseful thriller and I really loved getting to know the characters and how we get to the ending. I really enjoyed reading this book and will read more from Ms. Reinard. |
